As this has a good craft beer selection, I opted for one I had not had before and she got a smokey old fashioned. The ambiance is great. Typical of Rome, GA establishments, you can feel the history. They also have a rooftop bar and a separate bar area, for those seeking out a drink or two. Summary: The experience was good, but the food was bland. If you like to heavily salt your food, this might not be as big of a deal. On the whole, 3 stars, for average. Compared to other places in Rome, some of which are really bad, you would prefer this to many places. Nothing really bad to say, but nothing really good. Just average.

The smoky barbecue paired perfectly with the creamy pimento cheese and made for an incredible combination. Now the food was not the best bbq I have had so far (hard eight ) in TX but was still very good. If I had a complaint it would be the sauce tasted like it was just ketchup.
