This dealership was build to make money by ripping people off. Be smart when you go in either to buy a car or for service. I went in today for my service appointment in the morning. I was going to get a diagnostic done to see what was wrong with my car. Was working with the service assistant Jacob Sherman. Once I got to his desk, he started to asked me a whole bunch of questions and I know exactly where he was going with these questions. He was not trying to help or understand what my concern was. He was trying to make as much money as possible. Instead of charging me for the diagnostic, he added in my concerns about the noises I heard when driving my car and while turning. Now he wanted me to pay triple for the diagnostic. I then asked him, if I have a loose door handle and I have a concern about the door handle, will he charge me $120 for diagnosing the handle? With his straight face, he answered "YES" because the technician doesn't if it needs replacing or not. That really answer my question he was trying to milk as much from me as possible. He also claimed his tech makes their money off doing diagnostic on vehicles. Trying to blames that Toyota do not pay their tech and the way the tech gets pay was from diagnosing your every concern. I end up canceling the whole service and requesting for my key. These service advisor do make commission on how much they can sale. He was asking me all these questions at first trying to build his case that I have a lot to ask from the so he can charged me for multiple things. The more he can charge me, the more money he makes. Word of advice for those who want to keep the light on for this dealership. Do Not Talk Much. They Charge you to speak. I will not return to this place for service or to buy any of their cars/trucks. I purchased a used vehicle from Jim Norton Toyota and was told at the time of sale that the vehicle's A/C system and Apple CarPlay were both functioning and equipped. Shortly after purchase, the A/C stopped working correctly. After having the vehicle evaluated, I was informed that the A/C system appeared to have only been charged with refrigerant rather than properly repaired, allowing it to blow cold temporarily. Additionally, I later discovered the vehicle was not equipped with Apple CarPlay as represented, and I was required to pay $300 out of pocket to have it enabled after purchase. I contacted the dealership three times, including within 8 days of purchase, requesting assistance regarding these issues. Each time, my concerns were dismissed and no help or resolution was provided. Given how quickly these issues surfaced after purchase and the lack of response from the dealership, I am very disappointed with how this was handled. I would strongly recommend that anyone purchasing a used vehicle obtain an independent inspection and written confirmation of vehicle features prior to buying. read more

I wanted to remove a couple coverages after buying a car and filled out a form. A whole year and a half later nothing has been filed. I came in today to talk to someone and they left me waiting for a hour and half and no one wanted to to talk to me. Finally someone came out after I asked the rude receptionist about how much longer. I recently purchased a RAV4 I got an extended warranty which I cancelled within a week. I filled out all the paper work requested by Robert Potts who was supposed to submit it to a 3rd party. Yes! your extended warranty is handled thru a 3rd party Gulf States. Toyota never submitted anything almost a month later. I had to handle this myself which took time. DO NOT GET AN EXTENDED WARANTY ON A NEW CAR and don't trust the finance department to do their work. Be very careful signing that little IPAD as well. Getting a hold of anyone now is seems impossible so I had to post this. I expected so much more from these people but just like most dealerships once they put their hooks into you, you are nothing. Parts department repeatedly gave the wrong battery part numbers. I had to leave, go home, and research the Toyota part numbers myself, and inform Jeff the very nice service tech so he could relay the correct information to the parts department. He emailed back and said I was correct and that they had it in stock. I went online and purchased said battery from Norton. A few hours later I came in to pick it up and was told I could not have it. Stated I am having surgery next day and needed it to get to the hospital. All they said was rules and stared at me. The day after my surgery while still in pain came back in to the parts department Saturday the 23rd. One guy asked how I was since I obviously looked terrible, told him just had surgery and had to come back in because they wouldn't give me the part Thursday. The parts lady Mandy who must have thought my pain and situation hilarious, laughed and said I bet you won't make that mistake again. You have to wait until WE are ready, not just because we have it ready. I said well that should be changed, she again laughed and said good luck with that. Tired of the abuse I informed her that I go to church with Jim Norton and see what I could do. Wish I could give a negative star review. This is the worst dealership in Oklahoma. I bought a new car in November and got cheated out of my promised trade amount. Then they have tried to convince me that I signed a form agreeing to the reduced amount. I have proof that they falsified that document. Even tried to cheat me out of my down payment amount until I had to prove that I paid it! The salesman, Don Ward, then tells me that my trade had to be reduced because they had discounted the price of the new car which was already priced over market value! Also told me that if "I like my car, to just drop it and forget it, don't sweat the small stuff." Says that is what he tells all his customers and he knows what he is talking about because he has sold cars for 20 years. Two days later they put my trade on the market for $7950 when they only allowed me $1000! On top of that, they falsified Car Fax reports. The reports says they did a predelivery check on my vehicle a day after I drove it off the lot! Also, they logged service on my vehicle 10 days after that when I was not even in the area. This is fraudulent and now they are refusing to respond to me after I have contacted them several times. This is a shady dealership and customers need to be aware and do not do business with them. Not only did it break down on our five hour drive back home in the middle of the night but when we called them and said are you guys going to fix this what is the problem? Anyway, Farhad was pleasant and knowledgeable, Stefan in the business office was courteous and efficient. He did offer some of the extra warranty stuff, but when I turned it all down (why do I need to pay extra to be sure my Toyota doesn't bankrupt me when it breaks down, when Toyotas don't break down?), he moved right on and didn't play any of that, "Oh, are you sure? Here are some scenarios that would never happen but I'm going to pitch them to you like they're life and death so you'll pay extra for some crap you don't need." I liked not having to listen to that. I really wish they had a zero star option. I will preface this by saying I have bought 4 new Toyotas in the past and never had something like this happen. Toyota has now lost a customers for life!!! The person showing us SUVs found a Highlander we were interested in. Said he could do a soft pull on my credit to see what they could offer me. I advised what I could put down and could pay monthly. I was surprised when he said they could do a soft pull but agreed and filled out the application. A few minutes went by and I got an alert that a hard pull was done. I was a little confused and annoyed but figured well they have to pull it to get me approved. He came back with a signed offer from the finance manager with what I had asked for down but two hundred over what I wanted to pay monthly. I advised him my husband is a 100% disabled vet and that we didn't pay sales tax or registration fees and asked if we could get the quote reworked to see if we could get the monthly down a little based on the fact that the original quote included taxes and registration. He said he had to add my husband to the application and run his credit. We agreed and my husband filled in his part. My husband has a little better credit than I do so we assumed it would come back better. He walked a way with the application and was gone for a long time. I started getting alerts on my credit report. They then pulled both my and my husband's credit report 5 more times and I got an alert that my credit score went down 6 points. I immediately locked my credit report before they could pull it again. At this point I was highly annoyed and had been there for three hours. He then came back with a new signed offer that required 7000 more down than the original offer. He said this was the best they could do now. I was at a loss so we added my husband with better credit and you pulled our credit 5 more times to give us a worse offer?! I was angry to say the least. Something is not right at this dealership. Overall, very happy with Jim Norton Toyota. Let's start with the service department. They have a concierge service that is really nice right now! I had a 2011 Tundra Rock Warrior that had the dreaded check engine light illuminated on the instrument panel. I had very reliable local mechanic [Precision Auto Specialists, Broken Arrow] check the trouble code that was causing the check engine light. I then called Jim Norton's service department about making the repair. It just so happens that this failure was a common problem and Toyota had extended the warranty on this part to 10 years and 150K miles. I really didn't want to visit the dealer, so the concierge service picked up the truck at my house, made the repair and returned it within two days, all NO CHARGE. So, now my truck is repaired, and I was ready to trade it off. I had been looking at Jim Norton Toyota's new vehicle inventory almost daily. They just happened to have a 2020 4 Runner which was exactly what I was looking for. I have found and purchased all of my vehicles over the internet for the last ten years. It is easier and I have been able to get much better deals over the internet (myself) compared to Costo's or Consumer Report's car buying program. I made the internet contact, they quickly responded with a fantastic price! I had to negotiate a little with the trade in value of my Tundra, but I am very happy with the deal and the service from the salesman, Jason Kellerman. By far the worst experience I've ever had at Jim Norton. Nothing but a scam to get your money. I went in for a normal oil change and when I went to pick up my car Kayla had informed me that there was an oil leak and on my estimate it was labeled $35 for transfer seal between transfer case and transmission. So she informed me that they are not sure if that's what it is but they'd have to run a diagnostic to confirm and repair and that is $100. Fine, absolutely I want to make sure that's what it is and get it fixed since it's only $35 for the part sure. So she called me hours later and said hey yes that is what's wrong with it however Jim Norton can't replace it because they don't do transmission work all we can do give you a new transmission. So I'm furious that if she knew in the first place they can't do transmission work why didn't she tell me that to begin with. And she quoted me for a $9040 for a transmission when she stated mine is working perfectly fine I just need that seal replaced which Jim Norton can't do, all they are able to do is replace the entire transmission. I highly do not recommend Kayla Wendt. She was not up front or helpful with this whole transaction and had absolutely nothing to say to me. If anything is wrong with your transmission don't go here! I Responded to an ad on a used vehicle in Autotrader and TRUCAR with a given mileage, I live out of state in FL , was contacted by an Ashley internet, forwarded to a john michael, so i virtually review the car with the salesman i was given an email with more photos, all options, vin, showing mileage everything. I agreed to purchase, i obtained a sales agreement that showed the advertised mileage as listed in all advertisement and emails they sent to me. Send that to my bank , i sent wire funds with no negotiation. When they send a notary to my home little did i know that all the mileage points were now updated to reflect a much higher mileage without verbally disclosing anything. When i questioned the finance rep Deondre Graham and his oversee director Todd Burns upon arrival of the car which by the way does not represent this company well at all, he has terrible leadership skills and is despising to talk too which can be confirmed by other reviews. they simply put blame on sales and never took ownership. I was told i would receive a call from sales manager Kyle collins this was over a week ago. Still nothing. Disgusting sales tactics. Over eleven hundred miles placed on that vehicle under dealership care, even the title didn't reflect the correct miles.
