Sad to leave this review because they were good to work with in the beginning. They poured a nice concrete pad in my side yard in Oct 2025. Communication, promptness, schedule, and cleanup all went well. One of the key parts of the work was the slope. Walter assured me that his team would slope the concrete 2% (bldg. code req.) away from my home for drainage. However, when rainfall came, I noticed considerable amount of water ponded on the surface of the concrete and it did not drain. Turns out, the concrete was not sloped at all in some areas and less than 2% in other areas =( I brought this to Walter's attention and he said he would fix it by installing an overlay. It's been more than 3 months of reaching out to him, him saying he would come, and still no show. Now, he is not responding to me anymore. read more

Walter and his crew did a great job with the retaining wall and concrete placement around our house! He was friendly and easy to talk to. If we ever had any questions or concerns, we were always able to reach him through phone call and text. He provided suggestions and different options based on our budget. There was a lot of native soil that needed to be removed in order to provide a level surface for concrete placement. Walter and his crew were able to excavate all the excess material using a small Bobcat and hauled it all off all in the same day. They handled all of the compaction, rebar, irrigation, and drainage as well. On the day of concrete placement, he brought a larger crew to help spread and apply the broom finish to the concrete. They did a beautiful job with the expansion joints and broom finish! After he returned to remove the concrete forms, we did a final walk through of the entire job to address any issues or concerns we may have had. We also appreciated that at the end of each day, he would clean up the site with a blower and at the end of the job they power washed the entire site. Since then, all of the new concrete has fully dried and no lingering wet spots like we've seen on other properties. We were pleasantly surprised at how closely it match with the color of our existing concrete as well. All in all, solid company! Definitely would recommend for all your concrete needs. My experience with Walter has been disappointing, to say the least. He knows what he's doing when installing concrete, but it doesn't compensate for his poor communication and self-pride. Everything was done on a whims notice, such as the scheduled day to pour the concrete; luckily, I was on the project site to prevent potential mistakes, such as pouring concrete over an existing gutter drain that should have been removed. Since this was a last-minute notice by Walter, he didn't have any tools to remove the existing gutter as I requested and borrowed my tools to cut the gutter while pouring concrete. I was willing to let some of these issues go for the finished work, and I even went out of my way multiple times by buying his team drinks and pizza while working on the job site. However, I feel disrespected and let down by Walter as he misled me into thinking he would fix damages from his Bobcat excavator. Walter told me he had damaged the fence and would take care of it in two weeks. I spent the past month reaching out to Walter and was given multiple excuses, including scheduled dates with him not showing up to the job site. I don't think he understands how a project impacts not only the owner's time but the renters that live on the property as well; if he had any moral sense, he would do the right thing and either fix the fence or reimburse me for the damages. Instead, he decided to take the money and ignore my calls. I learned my lesson on this, as I will always look for a contractor who will respect their customer's time, is committed to the job, and never pay until everything is finished, including any damages done on the job site. read more

Began working with Walter in late August, who agreed to do our entire yard from scratch: concrete, sod, mulch, fruit trees etc. It's now December & we've been left with many unfinished details. We've been patient with Walter as personal things have come up for him, but after some time we've been left without any communication from him. An employee/contractor working with Walter at the time was responsible for installing the sod & planting our trees/plants during Walter's absence. The sod very quickly began drying out despite taking Walter's advice to water it properly, the planting areas were also not leveled at all & flooding badly, & in an effort to revive our sod, the employee completely flooded the lawn & effectively killed most of it. Walter ended up correcting most of his mistakes. We're still left with about 1/3 of the sod that was installed, the rest is dead. Walter's employee also did not lay anything underneath the mulch to prevent grass weeds, which has become a major issue. We agreed with Walter to pay his cost of materials for the replacement sod, but we're being left hanging at this point. Hoping we can get this resolved so that we can showcase the otherwise good work they've done on our yard. read more

I did a general request to all the concrete companies here on yelp and this company was the only one that responded back with a estimated price for what I wanted on the same day I reached out to everyone. I waited a few days to weigh out my options but this local company seemed like the one I wanted to work with. I contacted Walter(The owner) on the phone and we were able to set something up on his next available dates. It was a two day process for all the work. One day for set up and the next day would be for the actual concrete. I think I waited for a week and a half for the dates available but I could not be any happier with the results! It's really hard to find people with integrity. But my husband and I found it with Walter and his team. We called him out to help with a simple driveway project. After digging up the area, he let us know there was a pipe and we would need to figure out if it was placed there on purpose. We let it go and decided to fill it back up and cancel the project. We asked them to redo our backyard with stamped concrete. Here are some pros and cons that we think of: Pros: Friendly owner, Reasonable pricing, Quick job Cons: Incomplete job, Rushing, Poor follow-up They seem to be nice people and pricing was reasonable, but they could have been more professional. They were quick and punctual only when it was the day to collect big $$. When our job was about to be done, they already had other appointments to go and seemed to care much less once they collected major $$. We asked them to seal the concrete but they kept canceling the appointment and eventually never showed up in spite of multiple requests (we even asked if they want us to go on our own, but kept saying that they'd come back). Now our concrete shows some discoloration, which could have been prevented if they had sealed the cement as promised at the first place. One of the pros is that they were quick to finish the job but at the same time seemed to be rushing and a bit careless. When they were digging the ground, they accidentally broke our neighbor's water pipe that was running through our backyard (their side wall attached to our backyard) and caused a little flood. I am very late in putting up this review (sorry). We had a patio laid back in July 2021 by Walter Jimenez and his crew. They were very professional, polite, and fast. We were in a hurry to have it done by my daughter's birthday so we could attempt to have an outdoor summer birthday social distanced party. I am so thankful we went with them. We love our patio, it still looks so beautiful a year later, and it is SO wonderful to be able to walk all the way from the front door to the back without leaving the clean hard surface.
