The Big Kahuna cheesesteak is the breakfast of champions and I am so glad Jimmy John's opens at 7 am so I can grab one on my way into work. Packed with jalapeño, mushrooms, onions, tender beef, and a generous amount of cheese - so good. This location is easily accessible in the morning but parking gets wild around lunch. The staff is friendly. The place is spotless. The music is good! This is the one on Yamato Road and I love it. Actually though, I am pretty much a Jimmy John's fan in general as I have been to their locations in three different states, (multiple locations) and always had a good meal. Actually I've never had a bad meal at Jimmy John's. I really recommend this place. I first became aware of their existence, when I lived in Texas briefly. My friends and I would go to the Jimmy John's there. Now as many people know, it's difficult for a group of friends to agree that any single one place is terrific, everyone has their own tastes. Well Jimmy John's is a place we all loved and would dine at frequently (we also did take out a number of times.) Their food, in my opinion is fresher and yummier than Subway and the environment nicer. They are also very affordable. I then started eating at this one on Yamato, whenever I was in the area, which was frequently. I also brought my dad here. My dad is a picky eater, (as is his daughter), but he loves this place. It's like a Subway (their food is okay in a pinch if you're starving, no make that famished) except here the food is actually good. Sandwiches start at $4.25 without the fixings, $5.25 with choice of lettuce, tomato, sprouts, cucumber and various sauces and priced at $6.25 with additional meats and cheeses. One sandwich, the "Gargantuan" is priced at $8.25. I had the Smoked Ham Club (ham & provolone) and a friend had the Bootlegger Club (roast beef, turkey) on good tasting FRESH bread. Their brochure states "so fast you'll freak" and we did. By the time I got my change they were ready. How the hell did they do that? I asked the guy why he didn't put my sub on the paper and he said, " the counter is clean because we use the same rag to clean between every customer." Of course, this means nothing if the sandwiches are no good, but I'm happy to report that I do enjoy a Jimmy John's Bootlegger Club for lunch on a busy work day. I must say that I prefer my sandwiches heavily loaded with meat, and this place falls short of that. However, they're always tasty and fresh. Pus, they offer the option of getting your sandwich on thick-sliced multigrain bread that is actually quite delicious. The parking at this location isn't great, unfortunately. You really have to fight for a space anywhere in this plaza during lunch hours. Fortunately, you can rest assured that you won't have to wait a long time for your sandwich at all and it will be far superior to anything at Subway. A good place for a quick lunch. read more

Since this location is close to where my office is, I decided to stop in for a sandwich to go one day. Service was friendly and fast. And the sandwich was great! I got the tuna sandwich and it was very tasty. Absolutely no quarrels here! I noticed that they have at least 6 people working at one time (combined between register and in the back making the sandwiches), which is a good idea if they are going to promote freaky fast delivery! I popped into Jimmy Johns the other day at lunchtime looking for some free wi-fi, and a nice sandwich. The crew was so welcoming when I walked in that I felt like I wanted to stay and experience the kitschy ambiance that is this sub chain. They did not have the wi-fi but I did get my sandwich to go ... and I'm glad I did. I ordered a pretty standard sandwich - the roast beef sub - the roast beef was served on a nicely fresh thinish baguette style bread. There was nothing about this sandwich that stood out to me as being particularly memorable other than it being good, fresh and hitting the spot! I think I've been American sub spoiled a bit and prefer more substance to my subs typically. Would I go out of my way for the $8 combo of sandwich and their own branded chips? Probably not, but if I ran across a Jimmy Johns hungry during lunchtime again, I will be sure to stop off! read more

So even when it's free, I just grab their chips which I find salty and hot if they are jalapeno flavored chips. Its a budget food. Wouldn't take my order since I wasn't wearing a mask because apparently they refuse to provide their customers a mask if needed. The "supervisor" ended up having to get one from the back (which is the right thing to do before you refuse to take a customers order, but their staff clearly doesn't get it). I proceeded to order, and the bum mayonnaise spreader decided to make a slick comment to me. I don't know why they hired this kid, but thats what did it for me. Incredibly poor customer service. Average quality sandwiches, and the owner of this franchise seems to operate under the assumption that he or she can pick and choose their customers - they have outright refused delivery to local businesses, with the explanation that it was a "corporate decision". After contacting the corporate office to question this policy, I was informed that the location is franchised, and the corporate office has no say in the decision. Jimmy John's does not deserve my business, nor the business of any individual reading this review. There are many quality sub places within the same block that are much better values for your money, and actually care about their customers. UPDATE: I received an "apology" from the Jimmy John's corporate office in the form of a $10 gift card, no letter or communication of any sort. Absolutely no indication that this company gives half a care about customer satisfaction. I'll be giving this away to the first hungry and homeless individual I run into, and strongly encourage those of you reading this to make another choice for your sandwich. If I could give this place no stars I would. That was quite honestly the worst sub i have ever had. I'm never eating there again. Not only did they have like no toppings, they only had cold subs. When I took a bite from my sub I literally tasted nothing but mayo. I ended up throwing it away and getting a quality sub next door at Sals. I do love Jimmy John's sandwiches, and they are fast and fresh...but for the second time in a row today, my sandwich arrived looking like a mess. Both deliveries (one last week, one today) came with sopping wet bags, contents spilled inside. Both days, the side of ranch sauce I ordered opened up and spilled ALL over the bag. My sandwich paper was covered in sauce, it got all over my hands and desk, and no sauce was left in the cup. Today, the bag *arrived* at my office this way, and how the delivery person didn't see this, I don't know. I imagine they did and simply darted out before I could complain. The entire bag bottom was falling apart and covered in sauce. It was dropped off at my office's front desk and even our receptionist commented that it was a mess. Besides having certified grade D meat, their employees don't understand basic directions. They wouldn't deliver "north" of Yamato road, which is where they have always delivered before, when I gave them an address closer than the other one, which is approx 2 miles from the shop itself. Granted this place is a last resort only.
