For all the skeptics out there, just try them. They make some of the best sandwiches I've ever had.
Heidi S.

This is the one on Yamato Road and I love it. Actually though, I am pretty much a Jimmy John's fan in general as I have been to their locations in three different states, (multiple locations) and always had a good meal. Actually I've never had a bad meal at Jimmy John's. I really recommend this place. I first became aware of their existence, when I lived in Texas briefly. My friends and I would go to the Jimmy John's there. Now as many people know, it's difficult for a group of friends to agree that any single one place is terrific, everyone has their own tastes. Well Jimmy John's is a place we all loved and would dine at frequently (we also did take out a number of times.) Their food, in my opinion is fresher and yummier than Subway and the environment nicer. They are also very affordable. I then started eating at this one on Yamato, whenever I was in the area, which was frequently. I also brought my dad here. My dad is a picky eater, (as is his daughter), but he loves this place. I cannot understand why every state does not have a Jimmy John's. But anyway.... I adore Jimmy John's and if you are looking for an affordable place with great sandwiches, this is it.

Italian Night Unwich
Scott B.

Had an Italian Night Unwich last night at the Coral Springs location and loved it. So work decided to order for lunch and I could not resist the same thing from the local Boca Store. I did add a hint on mustard today however. I actually think today's was better ... absolutely delicious ... and yesterday was a perfect experience.

I've heard of this chain (after all, here in Sarasota things take awhile) but had never been to one. What a pleasant surprise. It's like a Subway (their food is okay in a pinch if you're starving, no make that famished) except here the food is actually good. Sandwiches start at $4.25 without the fixings, $5.25 with choice of lettuce, tomato, sprouts, cucumber and various sauces and priced at $6.25 with additional meats and cheeses. One sandwich, the "Gargantuan" is priced at $8.25. I had the Smoked Ham Club (ham & provolone) and a friend had the Bootlegger Club (roast beef, turkey) on good tasting FRESH bread. Their brochure states "so fast you'll freak" and we did. By the time I got my change they were ready. How the hell did they do that? I thought the food was great and you certainly can't beat the price. Please come to Sarasota, even the old folks that live here have to eat once in a while!

O K.

Most disgusting sandwich ever. Ordered a jj gargantuan on 05/19/2017 at 11 am, meat is lowest quality , piece of shit. Almost like eating plastic, no flavor, dried out garbage. And they charge 10$ for this nonsense. I've had better , way better in other locations. Bunch of losers anyway working there. I couldn't finish that shit sandwich , first time in my life.

They want to be gourmet type subs but really it's just average. The unwich, which is a lettuce wrap sub is a good healthy choice.

I ordered an omelet with bacon, tomatoes, and cheddar, along with well-done hash browns and a scooped, toasted everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. My best friend got a whole wheat everything egg sandwich with American cheese. The bagels are perfectly baked--crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. I love the touch of salt they add to their everything bagels. The omelet was cooked perfectly, and they have some of the best cold brew coffee around compared to other bagel shops. We will definitely be back!

Nothing else in that whole Mizner-adjacent area was open yet -- not even the diner down the block, which doesn't start serving until 7. The bagels looked pale, so I asked if they baked onsite. Answer: no, the fresh bagels usually get delivered later in the morning. That immediately told me everything I needed to know and saved me from making a bad decision. The bakery case looked decent enough -- black and white cookies, pastries, etc. -- but since nothing is actually made there, I have to assume most of it was yesterday's inventory. Ended up ordering a Taylor ham, egg and cheese on a Kaiser with a large coffee. Fifteen bucks. Look, I understand East Boca commercial rents are insane, especially anywhere remotely near Mizner. But $15 for a breakfast sandwich and coffee from a place that isn't even baking its own bagels is absolute highway robbery. To be fair, the sandwich itself was solid. The Taylor ham ratio was right, eggs were fresh, and the Kaiser roll held up. But the whole operation feels less like a real bagel shop and more like an early-morning survival outpost for caffeine-deprived Boca commuters.

Sounds crazy to say this one of the best Italian subs and it's in Boca Raton, FL…read more Anyways this place is the real deal! V & S Italian Deli is an authentic Italian deli. It transports you to an Italian NY deli. The place is packed, bustling spot and that alone tells you everything you need to know. You know it's good when you walk in and the place is packed. We split the Chicken Cutlet Florentine and it was absolutely incredible. Heads up: the full size is massive, so splitting it is definitely the move and still totally worth it!! The service was super friendly despite how busy it was. I had my eye on the black & white cookie too because what's an authentic Italian deli without one? Sounds like my next visit to Boca includes trying more stuff!

The sandwich itself was good, made with quality ingredients and solid flavor overall. The bread and fillings were fresh, and you can tell they care about what they're serving. One small detail: I wasn't offered any sauce suggestions, and because of that, my sandwich ended up feeling a bit dry. I think a simple recommendation from the staff would've elevated the experience. Still, it was tasty and reasonably priced. The place is small, but it gets the job done -- very much a neighborhood deli vibe. Overall, a good, no-frills sandwich spot worth trying, especially if you're already in the area.

I think there were more folks doing takeout than dining in. We asked -- as it wasn't on the menu -- but they do offer a half sandwich and soup option. Your choices of soup are noodle, or matzah ball, or soup of the day. And you can choose any of the deli meat sandwiches. I had their matzah ball soup with a half pastrami sandwich. He had the chicken noodle with a half corned beef. The sandwiches come with a pickle slice and coleslaw. The matzah ball was light and fluffy. The soup base was flavorful. The pastrami was a bit fatty and grisly so I had to deconstruct it. The rye was soft in the center and got a tad soggy from the meat, but had a nice outer edge crust. I think I'd get the corned beef instead in the future. I gave my well marinated pickle to my husband -- I'm a half sour gal myself. But I liked the slightly sweet coleslaw. I'm glad we came to try them. Now we know.

This will be a stellar breakfast spot. I also want to sample the Reuben and tongue sandwich! See you around :-)

Laspada had a lit up sign in the window saying they're "open." I seem to recall Next Door Boca giving them decent reviews. I am a native of Philly, hometown of the hoagie. I thought I'd give this place a try. I ran from my car through the rain and tugged on the door....locked. The door hours say open at 11! So much for the lit "open" sign. They have outdoor metal tables and chairs under an awning. I sat at an outdoor table for ten minutes. I looked through the storefront window at a couple employees prepping and I read the wall menu. A guy unlocked the place at 11. I let a young family and several other guys go ahead of me. Guy at the slicing wheel waited on me. I ordered a small Mama Lastrada turkey & salami on wheat. There's about a half dozen employees behind the counter dealing with the assembly line of customers and sandwiches. Guy at the slicing wheel tells me one of the other guys will work on my sandwich. Okay. However, I can't move down the line because there's customers still lined up ahead of me waiting for their food. Slicing wheel guy looks up at me a minute later and asks what he can get for me. I look back at him waiting for him to recognize me from a minute ago when he already had sliced my order. No recognition! I repeated my order to him. Now he remembers me! He again refers me to one of his junior sandwich prep guys. I overheard him telling a busy junior guy, "This is just a small Mama on wheat" or something like that. Still, I can't go down the line because there's guy ahead of me had placed an order for 3 sandwiches. I swear to you that the slicing wheel guy asks me for a THIRD time for my order! By this time, I felt like I was in a Monty Python sketch. I repeated my order. Again, he refers me to a third junior associate (Manny, Moe, and Jack)? Finally, a young associate asked me for toppings. I had noticed two lettuce bins. One bin looked fine. The other looked a little brown. I decided to skip the lettuce rather than ask him to pick from the left hand bin and embarrass them. I also saw a black speck in the onion bin. It probably was nothing but I decided to skip onions just to be safe. I chose tomatoes, Swiss cheese, pickles and sweet peppers. The debit card reader asks if I want to tip. I skipped that. Price was reasonable. Hoagie was okay. The roll was soggy. Philly hoagie shops pride themselves on their rolls. I understand this is Florida, not Philly. I can appreciate this place is popular and busy. However, being asked for my order 3 times by the same experienced worker there left me feeling less than special as a customer.
