I ordered lunchboxes for my employees and was shocked when I unwrapped mine, there was meat and cheese - that's it! What kind of catering is this? These couldn't even be called subs! Being in charge of the event I was completely embarrassed. The delivery driver then went on to complain how much work it was to make the order with only five employees. I don't know why everyone rips this JJ's a new one, I've been here twice and never have an issue. I do mobile order pickup and it's ready on time and accurate. Sandwich was fine to me and if you're complaining about the skimpy amount of meat they give, that's for all locations as a whole. I'll still be coming here when I'm in the area. Horrible service. Refused to put mayonnaise on a slim (for a child). Refused to give me a knife to spread the mayo I had to put on from a packet (myself) or cut the sandwich for my three year old. My little ones wanted JJs as a treat, it was our first time at this location. One kid wanted salami and cheese. He got a $4.29 piece of bread with 7 thin slices of salami, they forgot the cheese. This review relates to what I just discovered about Jimmy John's; Freaky High Delivery Charges! I place a delivery lunch order for my work with Jimmy John's every few weeks. I had noticed that we were short for the total a few times and always assumed it was our error. I placed an order on Thursday for delivery on Friday, September 13th. Our order with tax came to $84.68. After we figured in tax and tip, we had $97.90 ready in an envelope for the delivery person. When I called JJs Friday morning to confirm receipt of our fax I asked for the total. The employee told me our total was $100.50. I asked about the current prices and told the employee I had checked the website the day before. The employee told me the prices listed on the website are only for orders that are picked up and proceeded to tell me that there is a charge per item for delivery orders. I told the employee that nowhere on the website does it clearly indicate this fact (there is a small section on the printable menu under catering that states this per item delivery charge). The employee was understanding and said that we were not the only customers this has happened to and that it was a recurring issue at his store. He even told me that his manager has called the general manager several times about this problem. As I mentioned before, based on the online menu prices, our order total with tax came to $84.68. The total the JJs employee gave me was $100.50. That's $15.82 more based on the per item delivery charges! Really? Jimmy John's thinks it's okay to charge over $15 to deliver food less than two miles? I asked how they handle this problem and he told me that the delivery person just does not receive a tip. I did not think that was right, so I collected more money from all of my co-workers so that the delivery person would receive a tip. I have posted a comment on Jimmy John's Facebook page and received a canned, surfer-dude style response which included the verbiage, "C'mon man, a small delivery charge for a great sandwich is pretty sweet!" I can understand a flat delivery fee of $3-$5. That is reasonable. But to tack on per-item delivery fees that add up to over $15 for one order? I think that's exorbitant. I also contacted Jimmy Johns via their website and went through this same story. I received a reply which made me question whether or not the customer service rep even read my e-mail. Ashley explained how JJs configures their delivery prices, she mentioned the block of text on their printable menu about the per item delivery charge, and then she suggested I contact my local JJs to find out how they calculate their pricing. I already did all that and clearly went over it in my e-mail. Sheesh! Jimmy John's needs to update their website so it clearly indicates this per-item delivery fee which can lead to a significant difference in a final total. There is no way to calculate it beforehand because it is all item-specific. It's too much to try to figure out when it should be so much simpler. Rio Wraps only charges $3 for delivery. I guess we'll order from there more often. read more

This is one of the best Jimmy Johns I've been to. The service inside the restaurant is great, the staff is friendly and they are very quick with making the sandwiches. I have never had a problem accuracy and my sandwich has always been delicious! When calling for delivery the staff has always been very cordial, the delivery is extremely fast. The drivers are very courteous and I have never had any issues with my orders. This is a great Jimmy Johns! read more

The food was OK. HOWEVER...The delivery guy accidentally left a drink. We checked all around the orders and no one had ordered one. Someone took it and drank it. Delivery guy came back and asked for the drink back. When we told him that someone had drank out of it, he asked "How much?". Though I frequently order from Jimmy Johns, I can safely say I'll never order from this location again. I placed an order for delivery and the entire time, the girl taking my order was giggling. I was confident my order was going to be wrong so I asked if everything was okay and she replied "yes sorry, someone was making me laugh". I continued to order and asked if she was getting everything down and she said yes. Apparently she did not. The delivery came quickly and the driver was friendly but when we opened the bag, the order was incorrect, as expected. Normally, I'd pass it off because hey, it's Jimmy Johns not Coach Insignia, but we were charged for cheese we didn't receive, most of the toppings were wrong, and I was irritated at the conduct of the employees taking the order, so I called to complain. When I spoke to another employee, I mentioned whomever took my order was laughing the whole time and he explained it was the General Manger tickling the girl taking my order. Apparently, he had left for the day, so I couldn't talk to him but the other manger did correct our order and send new subs free of charge. I don't think it's asking a lot to hold off on tickle fights until after you've ensured the one thing you're supposed to do correctly (take care of your customers) is complete. The one redeeming quality (and why I didn't just call this a one star experience) was the delivery driver who was fast, polite, and far more professional than the GM who obviously skipped his sexual harassment training. She took the time to explain each sub option and was very respectful and even recommended the most popular sub options. I ordered a sub that does not have cheese on it, so I asked for cheese & had the pay extra. When I got home I realized that they did not put cheese on it & they put tomatoes on when I specifically said I didn't want tomatoes. I called & spoke with the manager, told him all this, he LAUGHED at me & told me he'd give me a "cheese credit"! Beware of this place! Today I ordered two sandwiches for eating in and they wanted to charge me 25-cents for a small cup of water. Ridiculous! Based on the other reviewers this location is fee-happy. I totally agree. What next? Will they start charging for napkins (per ply), or for use of the bathroom (per ply or per flush). I also noticed they were heavy on staff and many of them were just standing around doing nothing when tables and benches in the eating area were dirty and needed to be wiped down. I felt as though I should have been able to charge them 25-cents for cleaning the seat I cleaned off for myself. read more
