We stopped in for lunch to-go since we were on the run the day of our visit. There were 5 of us and we all ordered something different. It was lunchtime, but we were able to step right up to the counter and order. We only waited a short time while sitting at a table before we quickly received our order. The menu was posted above the cashier counter and included a variety of sandwiches with specialized names. I struggle to read through everything quickly to make a decision so I try to single out the ingredients that I want and try to select the best match. We only got sandwiches in our order but they offered some other add on options and of course drinks. They had a service yourself drink station available on the countertop. Spend over 15 minutes on the phone trying to order what would've amounted to over $500 worth of catering boxes for two days and the girl on the phone literally can't even relay what comes in what or get the order right. I'm a bread person. So when I walked in and saw a tray of fresh bread I was happy. I stuck with my usual tuna salad type sandwich. I ordered the #15 and had it in my hands before I could pull out my debit card! Amazing! Now, the taste. The bread was soft and moist. A+. Fresh veggies. A+. Not too watery tuna salad A+. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a restaurant. They get mad at us because we couldn't hear them due to the loud music. I don't even know what to say. Pizza Hut is faster. Food - The Gargantuan is... okay. The salami is low on flavor, the turkey is a bit dry. I spent $10 on a sandwich that isn't, to me, worth the hype or price. The only thing good about it is the french bread. I asked for mustard and mayo packets, with BOTH sandwiches I ordered. Guess how many we got? Zero. Zilch. Nadda. The large pickle is good, but I'd hardly call it giant. Overall I'm not in love, and will just stick to Subway. Definitely one of my favorite sandwich shops. Glad to see them finally come to Coeur d'Alene! Every time we have been in we have gotten in and out in less than 5 minutes. Ordering experience was very poor and unprofessional. Food product was satisfying even though the order was not made to specification of my order. No employees there seem to be happy and no one smiled. This is a direct reflection of poor leadership. Everything falls on what the leadership does and or fails to do.
