Unfortunately, we had a not so good experience at this location. Wrong orders and a long delay on two people in our party. The rest of us were finished by the time they got their sandwiches. They ordered a Bobby and a tuna sandwich. It was frustrating. I will give them another try as sometimes people and restaurants have a bad day. read more

So this is my first time at a Capriotti's, and my experience only is of one sandwich: a warm Italian sub, small. Cost $10, consisting of seven bites of chopped up meats, some kind of gooey cheese, lettuce, pepper, onions (?), tomatoes (?) on a soft and flavorless bun. The overall experience was of eating slop due the slippery texture and chopped meats. Did not enjoy at all. Might have been improved by not warming it up-- the aroma was off-putting. Take it from a "Jersey" girl, wink wink, these sandwiches are really good. Their bread is soft and fresh, and they are very generous with meat and fixin's. The guys making our sandwiches were friendly and funny, and that's something you don't always get at assembly-line food places. Have had a hard time finding a sandwich shop that is open after 2-3pm that is not Subway, Jimmy Johns (not a big fan of either) or Jersey Mike's (really good but not nearby for me). Been wanting to try Capriotti's for quite some time and we finally went today. I ordered The Bobbie, lots of turkey breast, cranberry sauce, stuffing & light spread of mayo. MAN! Really delicious and exactly what I wanted!!! My friend ordered the Wagyu Cheesesteak with sweet peppers. She loved it too! Staff was very friendly and helpful answering our questions. The manager was very hospitable, and the overall service was great. I'm originally from Vegas, where I believe the first Capriotti's opened, and I'm happy to say the quality of the sandwiches here is just as good today as it was 15 years ago. I'm giving four stars instead of five only because they added peppers to the sandwich when we had asked for them on the side. That said, the manager was more than willing to make it right, and it really wasn't a big deal. I'll definitely be coming back. read more

Service: a sincere smile greeted us in the uncommon figure of someone who actually enjoys their job, even working on a Sunday, demonstrating the patience of answering our questions accompanied by an enthusiasm to make suggestions. Capriottis is such a great place to get some grub! This is my second time coming and it was still a great experience. They're great because they have vegetarian options as well if you hard pass meat. Their menu is pretty good though I have to say. Lots of options for almost everyone! They have a very friendly staff that's always more than happy to help out. For my food choice this time I got the vegetarian chicken cheese steak, which was alright. It was anything super special but that's just mostly because I'm not big on fake chicken. Last time I got the impossible beef cheese steak and that was pretty smackin' to be honest! Either way in highly recommend coming ti this place for either lunch or dinner! The ambiance is great if you want to east outside and if you don't, well they also provide outdoor seating for those nice days when you don't want to be cooped up. A franchise Sammy shop that doesn't act like it should. Quality ingredients, cook to order meat, and a thoughtful curated menu. This is our first time in Idaho, and first time hearing about this shop. It looked like a bougie sandwich shop we were ready to spend $12 on a sub and live with. The Wagyu from Snake River Farms belonged in their recipes quite naturally. Cooked to perfection - you can taste and feel the wagyu difference in the Wagyu cheesesteak vs the regular one. They also didn't skip out on the Wagyu meat as I was pulling more off the foil after I was done. Peppers seemed delicately cooked and proportion. Mushrooms seemed microwaved by prep but the flavor did not cut back. I was very happy about coming here for a quick snack. The prices may be a bit much for a sandwich shop, but inflation is happening and good food knows how to sell itself. The fries were unique. Thin wide shape fries kept crunchy as we went back on the road. Definitely a new shape for me. read more

We desperately needed a quick lunch but the thought of fast food was unappealing. Enter Capriotti's! We were able to order online so it was ready for us, there is a specific door just for online orders so you don't have to even walk inside and it is literally right next to the freeway. I read through some of the reviews below and those have not been my experience, thankfully. I have always had great service, and the food has been top-notch, fresh, and a good-sized helping, with a relatively quick turnaround. The seating is really uncomfortable, and I say that because I've always had my food to go so I wasn't there too long, 5-10 minutes usually, so this means that yes, the chairs are not good. Yummmm.... My first thought was holy crap it's expensive but then I saw how big it was.....my son and I shared the Bobbie cold cause that's how I prefer my thanksgiving sandwich favorite. I got a large to share cause in my head I thought I could eat that much since I can eat a footlong at Subway. Well this is not even close it is packed full and it is a lot I mean a lot of food I had two meals out of mine he ate his but he is over 6 ft and built like a football player and a teenager so he has that appetite. My husband who is extremely picky liked his sandwich too I don't remember what he ordered but mine was really really yummy. Every other sandwich place is expensive these days and you get ripped off this one at least you get your money's worth. Compared to Firehouse and Subway anyway I don't think Jimmy John's is a rip off, but this is way better than any of them.
