The fact that they're made with brown butter immediately sets them apart from your average chocolate chip cookie. The brown butter adds a rich, nutty depth of flavor, and they're finished with just the right amount of flaky sea salt to balance the sweetness. Every bite is a literal party in your mouth. If you leave Pappo's without getting a cookie, you're seriously missing out. While Pappo's is definitely on the pricier side (which is why its 4 and not 5 stars), though I've never once left feeling like I didn't get my money's worth. I also needed to try the sweet/spicy chicken biscuit deal and while it was incredibly messy, it as very good (solid A). Overall this is a very very good little brunch spot and I would strongly recommend stopping in if you're local or happen to be passing through CoMo.
