I'll have to admit, I was nervous to try Fazoli's. Italian food with a drive-through? What is this!? I also have to admit that I need to remember to never judge a book by its cover. This Brick and mortar Italian restaurant is more than meets the eye! Pastas, all you can eat breadsticks, Italian sandwiches, and even Italian donuts with chocolate sauce! We ordered Garlic Shrimp Stuffed Shells, a Classic Sampler, Loaded Alfredo and an Italian sandwich. And of course we had to order the donuts! Speaking of ordering...it's time to mention that the workers behind the counter were super nice and helpful. Telling us about their menu and staying on top of the breadsticks. The food was great! Now, if you're looking for the most authentic, from scratch Italian food you've ever had in your life... keep looking. But if you're looking for something comparable to Olive Garden, but cheaper...quicker, and imo just as good... you've found it at Fazolis! The food was actually sooo gooood!!! Finally, the restaurant was clean, quiet and I appreciate the super cheap kids night events they were advertising! All around great place for family dinner. Try it out next time. read more

Ordered drive-thru with the app and found when I got home, I was shorted my 2 Italian sausages. Also, the drive-thru took extraordinarily long. I was told at the speaker they were bagging up my order, but when I got to the window 20 minutes later, I was told they were still bagging up my order. Stopped here for a quick dinner on a Monday evening. The restaurant was not busy , although the drive thru was quite steady. We placed our order at the counter and were given a number to place on our table. Drinks were self service. The staff was friendly and attentive, bringing us warm breadsticks several times throughout the meal. The breadsticks were fantastic! Our meals were promptly served, after quite a few breadsticks we needed to go containers, which the stall promptly provided. The restaurant was clean and pleasant to dine in. Our Columbia Missouri Fazoli's is going down hill fast. A simple #2 menu board item was wrong three times. How difficult can it be to order spaghetti, with meatballs and marinara sauce, substitute penne pasta. The first time it came out there were no meatballs. The second time it was spaghetti and not penne pasta. The third time it was penne pasta, meatballs and meat sauce, not marinara. Loud laughter and yelling could be heard throughout the dining room coming from the kitchen. Finally the f-bomb could freely be heard in the dining room; again coming from the kitchen. Being a retired Air Force officer I did not hesitate stepping up to the counter and letting them know that their foul language and f-bombs were going was being heard throughout the restaurant. A female manager apologized, but I could tell she does not have influence over the kitchen staff. I understand it is difficult to find employees, let alone quality employees. I fear she is trying to be their friend and not their manager. The last time we attended this restaurant a young staff person was working the dining area and his pants were down below his derriere. Not very appetizing. A one star rating is much too generous. read more

We waited for over an hour for our food. My wife finally got her food after going up to counter twice asking where it was. The second time she went up they just handed her the food she ordered and the bread sticks and she had to take it to the table herself! They said they had to remake mine since I had gluten-free noodles. She ate her food (which was cold). After she ate her food we waited another 10 minutes and she went back up to the counter asking where my food was. They said they threw it out and refunded us the money... which was a lie... they didn't refund the money. We called and talked to someone about it and finally got it refunded. Last 2 times I've come to this location has been frustrating. The large guy at the register DOES NOT acknowledge anyone in line. Last time I waited 25 minutes before walking out, never acknowledged. 6 other parties in front walked also. Both times the drive-through guy was taking a couple orders, but mostly standing around, same as the guy behind the service window. A balding gentleman behind the kitchen wall was eating food. Both times most the tables were still dirty. This time it took 15 minutes to be acknowledged took another six or seven minutes to have our order taken food was delivered cold even after being rejected by a matured woman...for being cold. I came into Fazoli's for the first time a couple weeks ago. The red-haired girl that was there was not very helpful. I could not even see her name tag. I thought about not every coming back due to the lack of service. My wife convinced me to try again. Because the girl was the only one up front. So, we came in today. The difference between the two visits were like night and day. My first visit: Little to no welcome Was told that we come in close to the end of dinner rush. When I asked if they were/had been busy. Could not find a name tag (was up front alone) Really did not seem to know much about the food Brought it food without a tray (at the time I thought that was how it was brought out) Had to go up and ask for more bread and take it back to table The dining room was a mess Tables has dishes on them Trash receptacles has dishes on them Tables were needing to be washed (ones without dishes) Her and male employee kept meeting up in the dining room though not to work looked like they were just talking intimately My second visit: Great welcome Saw name tag on her hat (Cheryl and she was alone up front as well) We must have come in during lunch rush. There was a lot of people inside. When I asked about things she answered my questions. I asked what she liked to eat there. She said she cannot eat there due to allergies but said what he kids like. She asked if I wanted to make my food a meal. Then explained what a meal is. And if I wanted to upgrade to a larger drink on both my meal and my wife's pick two lunch. Read my order back to me Brought food out on a tray When I asked when that started. She said that as far as she knew trays have always been used. That they have been used since she started. She asked if we wanted freshly grated Parmesan cheese then told us to let her know when to stop As she passed us our food she told us what it is as she gave it to us After a few minutes she came back and asked how everything tasted She asked us if we wanted more bread. When we said yes. She said how many pieces. Then brought us the bread to our table. The dining room was clean. The tables did not need to be washed off There were no dishes on tables except for the ones people were eating at There were no dishes at the trash receptacles She took our dishes from us when she would come to check on us if we were finished with them It was a completely different experience from the first visit. It was the worst experience ever, I went on July 7 and the kitchen cook guy was yelling at the two cashiers because of he's mistake, he made the wrong meal and claimed he made it but didn't. About 3 weeks ago I ordered from Fazoli's ubereats the gluten-free pasta, an order of breadsticks, and strawberry cheesecake. Dinnerly an order of breadsticks come with the meal but I didn't receive it. I called the manager on duty and he stated he would mail me a coupon for a free meal. I was very disappointed in the way we were treated after requesting our money back based on the 45+ minutes we waited for our food. When my husband went to check on our order, it was sitting on the counter in front of the kitchen. My takeout order today included the following: A slice of pizza that was half the size of the pizza slice container A salad container that was not even half full They ask if I wanted some cheese on my spaghetti, then charge $0.79. Their prices have risen so the are comparable with Olive Garden a few doors down, and Olive Garden is actually cheaper if you add in the unlimited salad. While I was visiting family in Columbia we ordered carry out from Fazoli's online. I wasn't expecting fine dining but had hoped they would at least provide the complete order the first time around. For whatever reason we were given lasagna instead of the spaghetti that was ordered, a sandwich was left out and half the breadsticks somehow didn't make it into the bag. We called and told them what happened and said we'd come by to pick out the remainder of the order. I drove over and walked up to the counter, was handed a bag with the sandwich and breadsticks. No 'we're sorry', no can we offer you something for your trouble. I understand that a $57 order isn't important to a chain restaurant. The food we did get was adequate so I'd give that a 3 star. Customer service? Try one star at best. There are plenty of places to get this kind of food and the chance Fazoli will ever see another order from me is zero. read more
