Used to LOVE this place...up until about 5 minutes ago! Their pickles are now not even "pickled", they are cucumbers that have a slight flavor of dill. I called to complain and was told that they just switched suppliers and that's how they are now. They didn't care. I literally live 2 minutes from them and it took over 15 minutes to deliver me the most horrible, overpriced sandwich I've ever had. Went to this Jimmy John's for the time and was really surprised. I have just recently switched from Subway to Jimmy John's, I enjoy the Deli style sub more than your average subs. This one's location has changed the price of the little John to $3.99. I asked the cashier, she said her franchisee changed the price. I order a tuna sandwich with provolone, no tomatoes, no mayo, add bacon, add onions, double oil and vinegar, cut in half. there's always something wrong no bacon - which you pay extra for, not cut in half, no oil and vinegar, tomoatos are on the sandwich. My second experience at Jimmy John's and my second time that they've messed up my order. This is my first time to this location but it was eerily similar to my visit to the Snohomish location that also messed up my sandwich a couple of summers ago. This time, I ordered a turkey sandwich and specially requested mustard. Not only that but I had a full on conversation with the cashier regarding the different options of mustard. To me, a sandwich isn't a sandwich without the much needed extra kick of mustard, specifically a spicy or deli mustard. Unfortunately, we took our sandwiches to go and didn't eat them until we reached a picnic spot on MOUNT RAINIER!!! Too late to add mustard now. I took a couple of bites and immediately realized that something was off. I opened my sandwich and couldn't find a speck of mustard on it. Just mayo, which is only acceptable when mixed with mustard. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and therefore didn't enjoy my sandwich as much as if they had remembered the mustard. I went to get a sandwich at Jimmy Johns the other day. I wasn't sure what I wanted and the staff was friendly and helpful. My sandwich was done being made beyond was finished paying!! The bread was sooo fresh, apparently they make it there fresh daily. When I asked about a wheat sub, they said They will hopefully have a wheat sub option by the end of September. I was very glad to see that they also offer lettuce wraps as well. Apparently at Jimmy John's, they are called in which. My only thing I'd change, is more variety on their sauces to kick it up a notch, like a chipotle, or jalapeño ranch. I will definitely go back. read more

I'm a big fan of Jimmy John's. I have yet to be in one of the restaurants that didn't have good food and good service. This Jimmy John's location is always clean, they have several friendly kids on staff willing and ready to help. They always take extra precautions because I'm allergic to tomatoes. So everyone on the line changes gloves and they are careful to make sure my bread doesn't touch anything. My allergies aren't that severe... But I really appreciate a restaurant that takes that many precautions regardless. Many others don't. Most the time when I order a sandwich, it is ready to go before my transaction has cleared or had even signed the receipt lol!! I read some of the other reviews/complaints below... And it's too bad, for seemingly petty reasons, people leave ridiculous comments. The fact of the matter is, the restaurant is clean, orderly, service is always up to par, and then seriously they put avocados on my sandwich... Any place that has avocados is cool with me! Most importantly they always make my sandwich #6 with extras exactly the way I ask and the ingredients are always fresh. To say I'm astonished is an understatement. We recently went to this new location (it used to be a family dentist office if I remember correctly) for dinner and was STUNNED by the amazing service we received! I remember working downtown and the sheer chaos but truly well orchestrated this company maintained during those times it's poise and perfectly attentive service! We walked in and were greeted immediately. The gentlemen who took our order seemed to cue his staff as well because they were all in a row prepping our sandwiches in such a precise fashion that they were completed before we even had paid! For four sandwiches, drinks, a few bags of chips it was only $41. and some change!!! It was shocking they even took Apple Pay, at first it didn't work but when I used it to see if it would I choose the jalapeño chips, and it worked, just press closer to the payment port! As we sat there and ate we became aware of how EXTREMELY CLEAN THIS LOCATION WAS. The floor was shining with cleanliness, the bathrooms were spotless, and the back counter was stunning! We watched another guest come up and order and was shocked to see the same line of immediate service start! I love this location so much and am glad it's right off the main road in Covington! If you're in the town, stop in! The pickle is delicious and they even cut it perfectly in to fourths! I suggest getting the #12, the avocado really adds a touch of summer we are missing during these cold Washington winters! Thanks again for the amazing service, food and time the other night!
