    Mini Jimmys 12 pack.

So I ordered this 12 pack for a work trip and picked it up today. Got to work and opened it. I have no idea what they are since they are not labeled. They are not individually wrapped like they should be. This was my second chance I gave them. Since last week when they closed half an hour early with five cars inline. To tell us all after waiting 30mins that they closed early. Very disappointed.

Food is awesome! So is the service. Freaky fast and freaky delicious! The best part is all the ingredients are always fresh, they even bake their own bread. If you're looking for a quick bite on your lunch break or want to sit down with your family and enjoy a fresh meal, this is the place to go!

A good sandwich, quick and tasted great. Not much else to say. Not sure why all the negative reviews.

They didn't have ANY bread at 7:00pm. Last I checked that's a vital ingredient at a sandwich restaurant. The employee was nice at least.

Easily the worst Jimmy John's I have ever been to. They messed up my order and told me they would refund my money. They lied and never did.

This is an interesting spot in downtown Dundee. Located on the fringe of the business district in…read morewhat appears to have been a residential property built several decades ago, it could be easy to overlook. But it is done very nicely inside with a very inviting ambiance and it has an attractive appeal. I am giving this place the benefit of the doubt with four stars because it is a bit of a mixed review. Our experience was mostly positive, however. As mentioned, the decor is quite lovely. It exudes the country style ambiance and I like the way their front counter is set up to present a country store look. But it seems to be a country store and deli in one. I think they could do a good job of this except they really don't quite have the space to pull it off as well as they could. It's a bit cramped and the seating space is very, very limited with perhaps enough room for six or eight patrons. We were fortunate no one else was there when we visited such that we were able to sit at one of the tables to have our lunch. To be fair, they may be targeting take-away patrons more than eat-in customers. Another aspect of the mixed reviews was the food. First, I have to say I loved the creative names they presented for their daily fare in honor of Christmas, using the Home Alone movie as a basis. For example, I had the Look-What-You-Did-You-Little-Jerk Chicken Sandwich. The menu was rather limited in number of offerings, but there were enough. The soups were quite tempting with Stuffed Pepper and Baked Potato available. Both were excellent. My wife made a lunch just from the Stuffed Pepper soup. The Jerk Chicken, however, did not have much jerk to it. It might have been better named Exemplar or Paragon Chicken, because it was not at all Jerky. In fact, it was rather plain and dry. I saved half and used a mayo/mustard combo as a dip when I ate my leftover...and it was much better. I will say that the portion was very good, however. It was more than I needed to eat in one sitting. The prices also took me a little aback. For two cups of soup, one wrap with chips, a coffee, a latte, a cookie and a gift container of five macarons, our total bill was $43.00. Take away the macarons, which were not part of lunch, and it was still $27. But given that my wife's lunch was a cup of soup, a latte and half a cookie, $13.50 per person is a little steep. Maybe it's just that everything is getting over-the-top expensive everywhere, but this just struck me as a bit much. Overall, it was a very pleasant little shop with good presentation, good coffee, tasty soup and nice sweets. The wrap needed a little something extra but otherwise, it was pretty good. I'd like to give it another try sometime.

We were amazed at the quality and our guests were too! We had a veggie tray with hummus and artichoke spinach dip, a fruit tray with honey yogurt, turkey pesto sliders and more. Our families were thrilled to have something to eat after traveling :). And did I say we had pecan and key lime pie too? Outstanding. On Saturday, the yogurt bar with fixings like granola, dried Michigan cherries, wild blueberries and almonds were the biggest hit of the party. The food was fresh, clearly labeled and came with serving spoons etc. we did go pick it up and supplied paper plates, silver ware and drinks ourselves. Highly recommended!

My favorites are the Reuben, the Georgia Reuben, and Tarb's Tenacious Tenure. The latkes and knishes are also fantastic. So while it was chaotic and overwhelming, the workers would hand you a menu, explain the purchasing process and even give you requested samples! Due to trying a sample of their pretzel, I ended buying a bag. An $8 bag!!! It was perfectly crunchy and buttery and very good! I don't even like pretzels and these impressed me. Also got a $9 bag of only 5 palmier cookies. They were good but definitely a splurge. BF bought a small bottle of balsamic vinegar for $23, like wut?! I eyed a jar of salsa for $28 and jam for $16 but damn, everything was way above even farmer's market prices. The sandwiches start at $18 for a small and go to $24 for a large. BF and I got the chicken avocado on challah bread and a new crunchy pickle. Zingerman's does a good job with their pickles! Skins were a little too hard but I love that they're not overly pickled and still crunchy and not too much other seasoning. For $21, the sandwich was not very big and they don't include chips or fries. If I lived closer, heck yes I would come here pretty often to try a sample and buy a very expensive baked good. I appreciated the very friendly and knowledgeable staff. It was giving Trader Joe's employee energy! Parking was a little tricky but not impossible. We came with locals so they knew what was up.

When someone tells me that their (anything) in the State of Michigan is the best, there really should be a way for the diner to compare said "best" to other places. I do like the rolls. Very much so. But is the sandwich the "best"? I know of at least one place in Detroit that might at least share that claim. I still like the cold sandwiches and deli salads. The desserts are very good. And the burgers are good with a nice selection of toppings. Fries, tots, and chips are all available to order. The staff is very friendly, either in person or on the phone. The restaurant has a LOT of room in the dining area. Although I don't recall ever asking, it may have been two businesses at the same location, and at some point, the floor space was combined. They may not accept very large parties, like a business lunch, but they have the room for this type of gathering. I still recommend this place, and pickup/Door Dash is always available if you do not wish to dine in.
