They are very filling, the combination of flavors is on point. The wait time was a little long but the cashier was very polite. I don't usually eat crust because it's just not worth the carbs, but this one was! Also a proper cheese-lover's amount of cheese on top! So good and baked well. I'd come back for this anytime. A fabulous breakfast and the perfect size for one person. We also got the brussel sprout sweet potato hash, which also comes hot and in an adorable little bowl (all their dishes are eclectic and cute). Also great, altho I added a little salt to mine. We also ordered mochas, half sweet, which were delicious. All in all, a great selection of items that I would come back and order again in a heartbeat. Service was so friendly, informative and accommodating. Everything came out quickly, there was excellent communication and they checked on us throughout. These are really kind people who definitely care about the quality of their food.

Driving up I didn't realize they had a drive thru so this place became very convenient for me. They had a great menu focused on Chicago's beef sandwich and man was it delicious. I ordered the beef sandwich dipped with Cajun fries and a green goddess smoothie and MAN was I wowed by all the flavors. Fantastic place with a great menu and very friendly staff.

Chicago Food? That literally could mean anything! BUT…read more.. IMO, "Chicago Food" especially means deep dish pizza, Chicago dogs, Chicken Vesuvio, and ITALIAN BEEF SANDWICHES! It means a few other things too, but these top my personal list. Chicago Post Cafe does at least two of these items very well. Today, I had the Italian Beef Sandwich with hot peppers and marinade on the side. Although hard to eat (the damned things falls apart too easily), it was fantastic. I've had more than a few of these, in Chicago none the less, and this version is honestly one of the best. It's better than Portillo's, and almost as good as Johnie's. Choose your peppers...hot, mild, and/or sweet! Plan to use your fingers to get what falls off the roll, because you won't want to waste a single morsel. Drink the marinade/dip while you're at it. The menu is pretty extensive, and breakfast seems to be featured. I saw another customer's plate, and her bacon, eggs, and pancake looked incredible. The place is small and a little tight, but you can eat in-house. Only one table seats more than 2. Service was fast and friendly. Very friendly. Yeah, I am remiss. I really should be eating here more often. Strictly breakfast and lunch. 5 stars for now.

Item 2: Regardless of what you call it, I love this place, and have since the 1970s. This place is a little neighborhood hole-in-the-wall, and I don't think the decor has changed since the 1970s (literally). Who says that's a bad thing? GYROs: Bottom line is that this is some of the BEST tasting gyro meat I've ever eaten. Period. It's flavored to perfection, and cooked to juicy yet crisp perfection, also. I have no idea what spices they add to the lamb/beef mixture (nutmeg? cumin? cinnamon?) but it has a unique and delicious flavor. This is the first place where, as a little kid, I ever ate a gyro, and they still make one of the best. (Not that my ethnic background matters, but I am Greek, and I've eaten a lot of gyros in a lot of cities and countries). If this is not the best, it's damned close to it. The chicken kabobs are excellent too. When I feel like eating something with more protein and less fat, this is my go to. These are fantastically seasoned and grilled perfectly every time. They come with rice or fries, and some veggies. The Greek salads are next level. They are large, well presented, well put together, and come with a BIG ASS SLAB of feta cheese. The homemade Greek dressing is not the best I have ever had, but it is more than serviceable. Pizza? Oh yeah, the pizza.... J & G,s thin crust pizza is also excellent. The flavor of the sauce is more traditional than what you will find at Amie's or Gino's, and therefore, may appeal to a wider range of tastes. I'd stick with the more basic toppings. To drink, they have milk and pop for the kids, and beer and wine for the adults. In case you haven't guessed, their wine list includes retsina and mavrodaphne. Obviously, as the place is also Upside Brewing, they have a pretty nice selection of beer. Upside has a few taps, and multiple taps from other local and regional brew houses are available. They do get busy, but we've never had unacceptably slow or rude service.

Upon walking in, I found the vibe upscale divey and comfortable. Our server was dressed in an Easter-themed outfit, as we were there the Saturday before Easter Sunday, and she was very friendly plus attentive. We ordered a feta dip as an appetizer (that I didn't try but feta fans would love). Our Greek Salads were authentic and delicious! The pizzas came with lots of cheese without ordering extra. I was eating the one with mushrooms and it was amazing! I'll post pics below but everything was far better in person. Absolutely recommend for a casual venue with fabulous salads and pizza!
