Every once in a while, you have to drive across Texas (I mean El Paso) to get what you're craving. Then every bite reminds you of why the long drive was worth it! Jimmy Johns is that place!!! I went to one of the locations on the west side. I got one of their combos. I already forgot the name when I just had it last night, and I ate the other half for lunch today. That's how big that sandwich was, and the leftover half was as delicious!! It was the one with roast beef, ham, and veggies. The young gentleman that helped me was super nice. They have some awesome signs/quotes/daily reminders on the wall. Pretty chill. Two other people dined in beside me. Plenty of room to enjoy your sandwich and maintain social distancing. I might make that drive again tomorrow for round two. Oh, also, if the Jimmy John gods are listening... We need a northeast location. That's all!!

    Look for this place!

It's no secret that Jimmy John's is my favorite sandwich chain, and I am ecstatic that it is finally available in El Paso! Aside from fond memories of years past, I really like the Deli feel to their subs, plus they always aim and take pride in their speed, so it really is fast food. For the unfamiliar, Jimmy John's offers a plethora of sub sandwiches with numerous deli meats. My favorite is the JJ Gargantuan, which is a gigantic sub with just about all the meats and veggies, it's not for the faint of heart, figuratively and literally. I'm trying to eat a little more sensibly, so instead of a Gargantuan, my first sandwich was a Vito, which is a classic Italian deli sub, I always get a pickle as my side instead of chips, because health. The dining area is small, but I'm happy to report that the El Paso sandwiches live up to my Jimmy John's expectations! You're probably not as excited about JJ as I am, but I am sure you will still find their sandwiches good. I currently have a 1 hour round-trip to visit here and it's still worth it, hopefully us lowly Eastsiders will get a JJs in the near future. Shout out to Tanya W for giving me the great news!

I live aprox. 1.6 miles from this location, and it's out of their "delivery area". Good subs though.

The prices are pretty solid too; for 8 dollars, the gargantuan has so much meat and veggies that even I was extremely full after eating it.

It was…read moreperfect timing to 'cause they opened at 11:00 AM and we were just a few minutes away from being their first customers of the day! Located off one of the main streets; in a shopping complex sits Orange Cow Burgers which originally started out as a Food Truck. Now, there's approximately three locations in the surrounding areas. Menu is pretty straight forward and simple. Orders are as follows: a single, double, triple and protein cow. It's fresh ingredients, all-beef patties that are cooked to medium. The best part is they have a secret speciality sauce called moolicious! We got two single patties along with two orders of fries and a pup patty (single plain patty) for the dogs. All to go. Prices are extremely reasonable in today's market. Taste was as if you made it right at your own La Casa. Only complaint was not having "enough" of that sauce to really have it stand out beyond home cooked. That said, you can also get their "loaded fries" which includes this specific sauce as well. We opted for "extra crispy" plain fries and they were really good. Service was fair enough as far as the wait ( 2 parties a head of us) and friendly staff. Great little spot if you happen through El Paso Texas or if you're local, hit them up for your own burger experience & request extra mooliscious spread of course!

Im currently eating here as I write this, it's so good I had to write right away!…read more The OG borracho burger is soooo good, you gotta eat quick though because the over medium egg will make it fall apart quickly but that's okay, like I said, it's delicious. It came with seasoned fries which were FANTASTIC as well. My wife had the regular burger, she's picky but she definitely loved the burger. She's more of a regular fries person, being picky but she said they're okay, which is a good sign! My kids never eat out but my one order of sliders was finished super quick, the other is a baby but she eating too. She doesn't eat my burgers at home so I need whatever recipe they have! My son ate his nuggets and they all love the fries. The only thing I have that could be an improvement would be making the limeade a bit less tart otherwise we really enjoyed everything! Especially their customer service The restaurant was great itself as well, the music was good, they have 2 tvs for entertainment as well. I would absolutely recommend this place to people! When I'm on this side of town I'll definitely come back

Plus we love supporting local businesses. Immediately we were greeted and the woman answered our questions. We prefer the Green chili burger and the smash burger with an appetizer of onion rings. They brought everyone out at once- it was hot, gooey, juicy and amazing. The onion rings had the perfect crunch and were delicious. The green chili burger had a slight spice but not hot, just flavorful. I ordered the smash burger and the amount of meat on that burger was astounding. While the store front itself is a bit bare and could use some sprucing up to make it more fun or stand out, it was by far the cleanest restaurant I have ever stepped foot in. This place is wiped down after every guest very well (not just a quick wipe down but very clean) even the bathroom was extremely clean. Over all great food, quick service, clean place to eat. Would recommend but mostly for the burgers, everything else is just icing on the cake.

It was my first time at the Charcoaler and the food was diner style, humble and cheap. I ended up going into the wrong lane and went through the drive thru and it's so cute! I got the chicken bits combo, large onion rings, and a cherry pie. It wasn't greasy and the cherry pie was the highlight. No baked pie masquerading as a fast food pie like McDonald's here...it was crunchy outside and moist and goeey on the inside, not too sweet, with a light dusting of powdered sugar on top. I loved that they had margaritas and sangria's and beer and are open til midnight on the weekends. It's a really nice place for kids with lots of games for free like huge sets of connect 4, Jenga, hula hoops, tetherball, sandpits, basketball, etc. What would make it even nicer is if they had misters outside. It was super hot and dusty and it would have helped the kids cooled down as they played. Super local and fun family place to go that's kid friendly and inexpensive.
