I received the order confirmation email at 11:31 AM, and I arrived at the drive thru a few minutes before 11:45 to pick up my order. Was greeted at the drive thru and told I'd be helped in a minute. 15 minutes later, I still hadn't been helped and had to ask through the speaker if anyone was there. They told me to wait another minute. A few minutes later I was able to tell them I'm picking up a mobile order. I pulled around to the window and was told our food was going to be a minute because they didn't have bread this morning and were behind. We waited another minute and I asked through the open window for an ETA. A young lady wearing a green shirt with long brown hair informed us she had just gotten back from delivering an order and we were going to have to wait. I asked why there was no communication to their customers about the delay, and she interrupted me telling me again that she had "just gotten there." When I asked for a manager, she told me I'd have to come inside to talk to them and closed the drive thru window. At this point, it was after 12 PM. I went inside to speak with the manager, who just made excuses, offered no apologies, and claimed my food would be ready soon. I also let them know I had a sister with health issues waiting in the car (she's diabetic) who needed to eat ASAP. I ended up waiting another 10 minutes while some staff was working slowly and the other 2 were just standing around talking about how this is "just another day for us." While waiting, the same delivery lady said to me, "If it makes you feel any better, I just made a delivery about 1.5 hour late because of all of this." I told her it did not make me feel any better, and the customer service here is awful. When I was finally handed my food, there was confusion between 2 bags, and the manager was very intentional about giving me the bag of sandwiches that I took. I had to ask for the drinks and was handed cups to self-serve. Then I had to ask for ice because ice machine was empty. I got the sodas, got in the car, and not only were the sodas completely flat and horrible, we opened our sandwiches to find neither had any meat. The manager doesn't care, the staff doesn't care, and am I supposed to think it was a coincidence that my food was completely messed up after all this! My recent experiences with this location have been nothing but awful. Incredibly slow, no customer service, Stimpy skimpy skimpy on the sandwiches and today when I pulled up in the drive-through to place my order, the back door was propped open, and the smell of pot was rolling out in the back room. I left, I know there are tons of people who don't care about stuff like that, but I certainly don't need pot following out of the back door from a restaurant. I'm trying to order from. Incredibly unprofessional, lazy, I'll never go back to this location. I was a restaurant manager for years, and I worked in the restaurant industry for years, if this was my restaurant, everyone of those employees would be fired. The simple safety factor of leaving the back door propped open... pure stupidity. And no, this was not open for delivery. There was nothing there. Absolutely ridiculous service. Group order is a waste if you are tax exempt. Delivery charged our team $38.50 to drop the sandwiches off 500 ft across the street. The website did not mention a fee and neither did the employee who I spoke with for 20 minutes to try and get our tax exempt off. No communication at this place, everyone must be their own boss because no one can seem to locate the manager. Never ordering from this location again. I give this a 2 star because the food is good but the service is slow. Has to be the slowest Jimmy John's in all of Fort Wayne. Spent 20 minutes in the drive through on my lunch break and didn't even make it to the speaker box to order my food before I had to pull out of the drive-thru line and head back to work. I won't be back to this Jimmy John's ever again. This also wasn't the first time my lunch was spent waiting in their drive-thru. It should be a policy if a customer is going to have a large order, that they must put it in online ahead of time that way it doesn't take forever for other customers to go through the drive-thru. The people of America entrust Jimmy Johns with two things 1. Place meat and fixings betwixt fresh baked bread. 2. Do so quickly. This location is between my work and home so I frequent it often. I will say that I'm a regular, but I proceed with caution. On some occasions in the evening some of the employees struggle with speed and accuracy. Almost to the point that I saw one sandwich maverick doze off mid cheese placement. Another employee who frequents the drive thru window has decided to douse herself in a flowery perfume or lotion to the point that the bag, sandwich, and customer service left me florid and fussy. I will not order Jimmy John's again. I ordered boxed sandwiches (for Covid-19), to be delivered at 4:30 today. Since it was over 40 sandwiches, I ordered 2 days in advance. I liked how the website allowed me to group common sandwich/chip orders together. I thought it would make it easier to pass out to the teachers. How wrong was I! At 4:50, I called to ask where our food was. I was told "they are on the way". The store is about 5-7 minutes away from our school. At 5:15, I called again to ask where our food was and was told "they are on the way". I stated that they told me that 25 minutes earlier and they put me through to a supervisor. All I got from the supervisor was "I'm sorry" and "We will try better". After stating that we would not be ordering from there again, I got "What can we do to make this better". By this time, they had showed up to the school, so I told them I had to go feed my teachers and hung up. When we took the boxes out of the bags, there was nothing written on the boxes except a number. We had to open every box to figure out which chips were in which box so that we knew who to give the box to. So, I ordered an sandwich for delivery. I tracked it and they even marked it as "arrived." Yeah, it was not at my door. I called and had to go pick up my order at the store because they couldn't figure out where I lived. Also, this is not the first time they couldn't find my place and just returned back to the store. So, I went in and they offered to give me my order and when I asked for the delivery fee and tip to be removed the girl got pretty short and rude. I'm a restaurant manager so I know how this whole thing works. I will be calling your corporate office, but for anyone wanting to order here...don't! The location next to campus is great, and makes it easy to stop for a quick and easy sandwich. The delivery times have always been good and the one time they've messed my order up, the manager was able to take care of it with no issues. Highly recommend for hangovers. read more

I am a regular costumer here. I could not have gotten through my busiest weeks in college without them because they are so convenient for me. I just learned the reason Jimmy Johns says that they have extremely fast delivery is because they only deliver within a mile of their location, which is very dumb. This location is great. Perfect for college kids to swing on in & other patrons to stop in. The service was quick even though it was due to the busy lunch hour. Unfortunately to enter the parking lot you must drive through the neighboring parking lots. read more
