I ordered from this location and what I got was delivered 40 minutes later after I had called the store and they said their driver went to my apt but I didn't pick up my phone 20 minutes prior then told me he had personally called me as well and got the line was busy... after the call I looked and sure enough no missed calls from anyone then my fiance calls me and asks me when the food will be here because she has been waiting outside for the last 20 minutes and sure enough no one has stopped in front of my building. The manager at this location is very rude. He was very nasty with me as I was ordering, and gave me attitude when I asked for a cup of water which he said "is a glass of water." By far the worst JJ's I've ever encountered. I'd given them multiple times to improve but HOLY SH*T GET IT TOGETHER. 1st time: took nearly 2 hours to deliver DOWN THE STREET (off of Randall) and I called and complained multiple times to find out where our food was. Was not compensated for the wait time either. 2nd time: ordered a beach club sandwich (on their menu) and it came with no meat.... literally a cheese sandwich. I called and complained and they just brought me a new sub. 3rd time (right now): it's been an hour since we placed the order and JUST NOW getting a phone call that the driver is "lost". Do you not have GPS???? The order is placed online and the address is clear as day. What could possibly be confusing????? You have ONE JOB! Make a sandwich and deliver it quickly. After years of bad experiences at this location, it looks like it as improved quite a bit. After many bad experiences from 2004-?, we started going to the Batavia location. The Batavia location shut down a few weeks ago, so we have started going to this location. It is much much better than it was in the past, but still not a smooth as most Jimmy John's that I go to while traveling. Food was excellent. Music was at a great level(many Jimmy John's make you feel like you are sitting in the middle of a rock concert). Restaurant was clean and well lit. Very easy to find close parking versus all of the other restaurants and Geneva Commons. Service was okay, but not really up to Jimmy John's standards. The order taker wasn't really paying attention and we had to review our simple order several times before he got it, but he did get it right in the end. Sandwiches came in a reasonable amount of time, but not as fast as most Jimmy John's. So not the greatest Jimmy John's out there and I will admit I am biased because of my multiple bad experiences of the past (still having horrible flashbacks as I am typing!) but more than acceptable for a Jimmy John's or any standard chain sandwich shop. So I'd say give it try and report back so we see where it goes. read more

I placed an order while at work and everything "was" ok. I paid over the phone for delivery and after about 15 minutes of waiting I get a call back saying they can't deliver to my location. I work in the commons near this location, it's the worst jimmy johns I have ever experienced. I am right across the parking lot yet me and some of my coworkers have received our orders 45 minutes after placing them, on top of that everytime I go in to order my food the manager is SO CREEPY. Ordered a sandwich at 11:30 am and was told one hour for delivery. They repeated my address which was correct. So far so good. At 1pm still no sandwich. I called the store and was told the delivery guy could not find our address and had called us numerous times. An outright lie, he never called. Asked to speak to manager and was told he was too busy. Called an hour later and did get manager on phone. Explained what happened and that our weekly orders would cease. He was a total a$$, could care less and hung up on me. A bunch of LIARS with TERRIBLE service. I've ordered twice now were the delivery driver forgets my drink and tells me they're were out, but when I call the manager it turns out that was a lie. The cancelled our order and won't deliver because driver is incapable of following specific directions. Went there with kids recently. They could not get our $ 40.00 order correct. The manager yelled at us & threw our food around and insulted us. After a lackluster experience at another Jimmy John's, I was turned off by the chain. However, my experiences with the Geneva Jimmy John's location have put the chain back in my good graces. Courteous service, and the sandwiches have tasted better than what I could make in my kitchen (the problem I had at another Jimmy John's). I eat at this location at least once a week. The first time I dined in I asked the manager, short, heavy set Hispanic man, which sandwich I should order. I only wanted bread, Turkey, and peppers so I asked if I get the Skinny plus peppers or get the giant and remove the produce. He said I could get the Skinny and add peppers. I have gone weekly and ordered the same sandwich and he NEVER gives me the receipt. I had a feeling he was charging me for the other and just lyeing about it. On this day the girl helped me and actually charged me for the Skinny, gave me a receipt and I had proof. He then threatens to fire her and I can hear him while I am trying to enjoy my lunch. If he had been honest on my first visit this would never have been an issue. This man was being deliberately deceitful. He is a thief and should be fired. I LOVE Jimmy John's, but I will NEVER order delivery from there again. We ordered for the office: 8 sandwiches, 2 bags of chips, 2 pickles, and 1 cookie. They had to come less than 2 miles, about a 5 min drive. Food total was $48. Delivery charge was $9.75!!! They charge 75 cents PER ITEM ordered. Seriously? Who does that? What a scam! And we are expected to tip on top of that as well? I will probably still stop in now and then to order in person for myself, but we will never be ordering delivery from there ever again. Very pricey for what you get. Adding cheese was $1.50, really. No napkins available. Food was good. Does look better than it used to. It is not worth going there. There are many places that provide just as good food for less price. The music was somewhat annoying, do not understand why the genre, when most of the people were older. Have only received one sandwich here. The manager said the apportioned guacamole was the standard amount. So, maybe its a complaint about the company(?). Never order delivery through this store. I can't speak for the in store experience but the delivery service is awful. I stopped ordering from them about 6 months ago. EVERY single time I ordered, they not only screwed up my order but there was always something else that happened. For example, one time I ordered the delivery kid said he couldn't make change for a 20.... Delivery always takes over an hour. The kid that delivers it always say "she gave me the wrong address." Pricey, inaccurate orders, terrible customer service. I placed an order and the delivery girl showed up relatively far from my specified location after about 30 minutes - then expected ME to go to HER while she played around with her phone. My order wasn't what I specified, so they initially agreed to bring back the correct sandwich. Placed an order tonight, at 7:00 pm for deliveray. The order was a total of a sandwich, a soda and chips. I was at work, or otherwise would have simply picked it up, thus needed delivery. Where I work is TRULY a 5 minute drive. I was told, Freaky Fast Jimmie Johns would be able to get it to me in about 30 minutes. I repeated questioningly and stated I was simply down the corner, and the reply was longest it would be 30 minutes. 45 minutes later, I call to find an update on my meal - at which point they say its on the way and should be there in 5 minutes. 8:00 my phone rings from the driver asking where I'm located as the address is not in his GPS [mind you, the address is a business address!], to which I have to provide directions - its one turn and just down the street!! At about 5 after, the driver walks in and as he hands me the bag states he just realized that who ever bagger was neglected to put in the chips...and that he could drive them back. I informed him that this was kind of ridiculous - that this was a five minute drive that took over an hour and my order was messed up. I took down the mangers names [and will call to share my complaint] and told him I could not wait another hour for my chips as our store closes soon...I asked him if they were busy and he stated he had all kinds of deleviers tonight, to which my reply was then it sounds like another driver should be hired or called in... Needless to say, and I realize I'm only one customer, but I'll not be returning to this Jimmie Johns. If I didn't know better, there was a handful of high school or just out of high schools working there tonight - and I use the term working quite loosely. Sadly disappointed. read more
