We were in the area, every time you drive by we say we're going to stop in but we're never really hungry at that time. Today was the day! The sandwiches are huge, my husband and I split a corned beef sandwich. If your hungry this is the place to get a sandwich! The ingredients were fresh and delicious. There was a slight bitter after taste reminds me of green olives. It was really yummy and I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. There is a gaming area too. I placed an order on Sunday, May 11 during what was supposed to be regular business hours via their website. When I arrived to pick up the order the restaurant was closed. Since that day I have been chasing a refund. Even though I ordered on their website, it went through Door Dash and they would not refund me, only credit me - for food I ordered and paid for during regular business hours and they weren't open. Now jumping through hoops calling the store and Door Dash for days before finally just disputing the charge via credit card. Never again. Super shady. read more

Went there Saturday night (5/17/25), the place was empty, so we were a little concerned, but the West Chicago location had some decent reviews, so we tried the Corned Beef sandwich and the Pastrami sandwich to go. We live about an hour away, so got home and tried the food. Sandwhiches were filled with lots of meat. Corned beef tasted ok, nothing great. We could get better from the deli counter at the grocery store. The pastrami had a bunch of pieces that were gray. Normally lunch meat like that should all be red or pink colored. Gray is when the lunch meat gets really old or is not properly stored. Yuk. We threw out most of the pastrami on that sandwich. Would not recommend this place. You should just go to a reputable deli, or buy lunch meat at the grocery store and make your own sandwich. read more

THE WORST deli sandwiches I have ever eaten. The corned beef and pastrami were dry and tough even though they were sliced thin. We got the sandwiches home and started eating them and they were so bad we could barely swallow and after two bites we tossed them in the trash. I don't like corned beef, but my husband said they had turkey, so I was all in. A couple of weeks ago he stopped on his way home from Costco and got sandwiched. I was delighted ! Then I took a bite..the first mouthful I got was a mushy, cold gob of what seemed like raw stuffing..It was disgusting. I opened the sandwich to make sure there was no more of whatever that was and surprise..a zillion pieces of turkey..I don't mean like nice slices, I mean it looked like what's left on the platter after dinner at Grandma's house. This is a review for the new Carol Stream location. This was a very different experience throughout the whole process so bare with me. First, I want to give a shout out to Brian (manager) and his wife Jennifer who I believe opened this location. Fantastic over the top service 5 for them, whatever they are making is not enough, they deserve a huge pay increase and bonuses. They are the reason for giving the place a 4 review. The information on the internet is very confusing. Some engines tell you that the place is close, other give a closing hour of 7pm and their website only has the Chicago location. So I call the number on Google, a 312 area code, to see if they were open. The man who answered the phone, I believe is one of the owners, was a bit rude. When I asked if that's was the Carol Stream location he answered "am I not answering the phone?" For which i responded that it is a Chicago area code and I'm inquiring about the suburbs, again he responded with dismissive sarcasm. Once I confirm that the location is open I made plans to get dinner there at 6 pm (closing time listed on search engines is 7 pm). When we got there the place was closed. disappointing. Here is we're Brian stepped up, open the door for us, explained knowing that the information is incorrect, and offer to make a couple of sandwiches. Since they were truly closed we had only 3 choices. We decided on one Ruben and one Corned beef. Brian and Jennifer were very nice to us, gladly providing service, friendly, and upbeat attitude. Now the review of the sandwiches: 3 Good compared to what we like. We got our best Ruben's, Pastrami's, Corned Beef, and Chicken Salad sandwiches at Mort's Deli or The Belden Deli - the old one. Pickles slices were limp. Located right off of North Ave, it is very convenient to stop and grab a bite to eat quickly (in and out) ya hear me. Plenty of parking for customers and right next to a smoke shop... The menu has all of my favorites from corned beef to pastrami and my all time favorite (pastrami and corned beef combo) on warm white rye with Swiss cheese and a pickle. Everyone has been raving about this place on my local Facebook page so I decided to give it a try. First off, the prices are rather high. $14 for a reuben with chips and a pickle. The homemade potato chips were not uniformly salted so some tasted of oil and nothing more, whereas others were too salty. The pickle was small and blah. As for the sandwich itself, it was... ok. I may be going against the grain here, but I would have preferred LESS corned beef for a lower price. There was too much meat on the sandwich which overpowered the flavor of the (limited) thousand island dressing and sauerkraut and upset the balance. I also think they could cut the price of their offerings if they scaled back on the packaging. Between the heavy box and unnecessary string, it was overkill. I'd prefer less fancy packaging since it ends up in the recycling bin / trash anyway. Wow! This location has not even had their grand opening and the words already out about how awesome it is. Simple menu, superb quality. I split the Tom & Jerry, which is half pastrami, half corned beef and there is a 1/2 lb of meat on one sandwich. The quality of the meat is top grade, so lean, barely any fat. The bread is insanely fresh and the homemade chips are light and airy without one drop of grease. The sandwich is also packaged in the cutest cardboard box with a butcher string tied around it. The name of this eatery is the Corn Beef Factory in West Chicago The moment that I walked in, I was kindly greeted by the female worker behind the counter. She was so enthusiastic and nice that it really made me happy to try them out. The menu is laid out with items such as Italian beef, hotdogs, corn beef, and pastrami sandwiches. The other half of this eatery holds slot machines to gamble if one would like to do that. I chose to go with their combo sandwich, the Tom and Jerry, which consisted of pastrami and corned beef with a slice of Swiss cheese and hot mustard. The combo also comes with their homemade potato chips. My order was up in less than a minute. It was shocking how fast my sandwich was made. I say at one of the tables that was spotless. I first tried their homemade potato chips. I was not really a fan of their chips. They had a gummy, stale texture to them. The sandwich I took a bite into had good flavor. The meat was a little over-salted for my preference. The cheese was not melted, it felt hard in the sandwich and really did not add much to it. The mustard was barely there. I overall felt that the sandwich was extremely mediocre, nothing outstanding, but was not bad. I wanted to give the sandwich a perfect 10 out of 10 just for the sheer fact of how nice and welcoming it was. The lady behind the counter kept asking me how everything was. She was again so friendly. I noticed for the most part that people were coming to gamble, rather than order food. The sandwich was a bit pricey at about $16 for the combo. There was an old man behind the counter taking orders and making the sandwiches. I don't think he has a customer service bone in his body.
