I always consider Jimmy Johns sandwiches to be average at best but others in my group wanted to get food from here. As expected, my sandwich was average as was my wife's. But what stood out was something I didn't know about - getting a "sandwich" in lettuce instead of bread. The others did that and I will try it the next time I am taken along to Jimmy Johns. Now, about this location. Probably the worst parking I have ever seen in this kind of mall location. Very little in front of the restaurant, drives in every direction, blind corners. Not their fault, other than selecting to place a storefront here. There are other Jimmy Johns nearby, and might just be wroth the extra 5 or 10 minute drive. I usually like jimmy johns, however, we waited 20 min for a sandwich and a pickle .. there were only three customers in the store. There were 3 workers and they were just chatting instead of Working to get the food out. My sandwich didn't have everything it was supposed to, was dry and the amount of meat on the #5 Vito was insulting. The tomatoes weren't ripe and there was mostly lettuce. Nice people, was greeted and waited on right away. Just wish they would have given me a bigger bag to hold both sandwiches. Went to 3 stars- I go in here once a week. I order from here often. The stop is two minutes away. The app push notification states out for delivery. Over 15 minutes later my order is delivered. I call to find out if the order is still coming, and the person who answers says, hello. Not, thank you for calling Jimmy John's how may I help you. Are you at home or work? He says she may have gone to the hospital. I have to ask, is she going herself to the hospital and don't expect the order. He then explains, no I think she stopped there first. I'd like to take a moment to edit my previous review. I'd like to bump this particular location up from 3 stars to 4 stars. I work in Grapevine and I treat myself to Jimmy Johns every Friday for lunch. I bring my lunch Mon - Thur. You see, I'm a Jimmy John's FANATIC!!!! I'm not even kidding. I've been a fan for YEARS!! When I was pregnant with my first born back in 2008 my doctor said I could not have cold cut sandwiches. After giving birth in the hospital I told all my visitor's, "If you want to hold my baby you have to bring me a JJ's Turkey Tom." And, they did!! I've been to SEVERAL locations from Dallas, to Southlake, to North Denton, but let me tell you, none of them compare to the fella's at Grapevine. These guys not only act they have the best job ever, but they make my sandwich right EVERY time. This place is clean, too. I appreciate that. Sandwiches are good but service is not. The guy at the end handed me 4 sandwiches without bagging them up. He tried to balance them all in my hands and I said "Can I have a bag?". He handed me a bag and I tried to bag it up myself without dropping them on the ground (because they were still all in my hands). He seemed pretty oblivious. Not freaky fast! At all! Took 45 minutes to get a sandwich and a drink. And i am less than five minutes away. I was beyond thrilled to have a JJ so close to my work; however, the 5 times I've been here ( keep in mind they've only opened a couple weeks ago & 2 of these times I've ordered for delivery) the workers have gotten my orders wrong 4/5 times! I assume that's what'll happen when you hire high school students, but seriously; these kids cannot even count the correct change nor can they read! My first delivey attempt, they forgot my mustard packets. Fine, it's just mustard but when you're charging me a $2.00 delivery fee for what's just across the parking lot, I expect bells & whistles! The second time, they forgot my avocado spreads, my cookie, and my cherry coke! I had to walk back to the store so that I could get my order right. Mustard packets i can live without but don't mess with my chocolate chip cookie and cherry coke! Anyhow, because I enjoy the freshness of the vegetables and breads plus they're right in my parking lot; I'll probably still come back. Hopefully the owner is reading this and can hire some students with a bit more capability to run a sandwich shop. read more

My review is specific to this particular Jimmy John's which is a great restaurant chain and you will always find great sandwiches at any Jimmy John's however this particular Jimmy Jones has a bunch of kids in there late teens early 20s and there seems to be no real management at this particular sandwich shop every time that I've been here there's loud music blasting from the kitchen area some F bombs are drop and in general the language from the employees is not appropriate for any restaurant and they're laughing and joking all the time I'm not trying to be a party pooper I enjoy a good laugh with my friends but if you go to this JJ don't be surprised if you're there with your family and/or kids and hear an f bomb or loud obnoxious music from the kitchen read more

What a great addition to the Vine. I have JJ catered at my office on occasion so I was familiar with their concept before going to this new location. I had the BLT and the bacon was crisp, the veggies were fresh and the bread was great. I asked for heavy mayo and got just what I asked for. They have those crunchy chips in different flavors that I love so. They don't have kids meals, but they do have a slim sandwich that comes without veggies. This is Subway. It's subway food. My sub was made super fast. There was even a sticker on the wrapper saying something like "golly our subs are fast!". But they are subway-quality. The pre-sliced meat and stuff is very similar to Subway, and the quality is about the same. It was a pretty sad-looking sub. I unrolled the thing and just saw the roll. Nothing sticking out. No thick layers of meat or anything really. It tasted OK. Not much to it like I said. The BBQ potato chips were really good. I was still hungry after because apparently my stomach has become a wild food-furnace from hell's volcano. But a trip to 7-11 cured that. Jimmy John's is the same as Subway. As for the food, it is really really good. I love the bread. I have not had a bad sandwich here. As for the price, it is really good as well. The quality of the ingredients I feel is just better than a typical Subway. It is really clean in here. You can see the food being made. Asked my husband to go pick up Jersey Mikes and he comes home with a bag from Jimmy Johns because he got the two stores confused. I was really disappointed in the quality of this sandwich. The bread was hard and stale, and there was absolutely no flavor. The meat was scarce (there was a 1 slice layer of turkey on an 8 inch sub). I felt like I was eating a lettuce and tomato sandwich.
