Cashier charged me for three things I did not get, a $25 purchase became a $38 purchase. The food was less than sub-par. This is The Clock of sandwich joints. Half a sandwich was the size of what I would expect half a kids size sandwich to be. Mac and cheese was straight up Kraft mac and cheese. The chipotle chicken melt had very little on it. I am talking majority bread. By a large margin. The chicken noodle soup was extremely questionable. My brother described it as "celery infuse dog water". After a sample sip I concluded that that was entirely accurate. Save your money and save yourself from driving on woodruff. Lunch Saturday was at Jason's Deli with my niece and my brother. There was a nice sized crowd, but all three of us decided on the salad bar. I'm " low carbing" at the moment (blood work coming up next month)so a good salad is a plus. The salad bar was well stocked with veggies, the only meat on their salad bar was chopped bacon. Several different lettuce blends and toppings from cucumbers, black olives, potato salad, pasta salad, black bean and corn salsa, shredded cheese, corn bread and ginger bread mini muffins(none for me) only to name a few of the items. On March 19, 2026, I ordered through doordash and I did not receive one of my items. The item was over 5 dollars. I called the restaurant and talked to some man and he said they would give me a refund. I kept checking my bank statement and never saw a refund. I have called the restaurant several times, and they are always rude telling me to call back because it's lunch time and they have a rush or I would have to call back and talk to someone else, or I needed to call doordash. No they are the ones who didnt give me my item. Its almost a month and I still havent received my refund. To me they stole my money. We have lived here 20 years , and ate at probably 80% of the restaurants within 15-20 miles of the Haywood Mall in every direction. For good honest Deli fare, and a really outstanding and super fresh Salad Bar, Jason's has no competition in the upstate. We really enjoyed the Beefeater and Salad Bar, with their amazing Chocolate Cake this visit ! I was really craving a salad and wanted to come here for their salad bar. I wasn't sure how it was going to work with covid but at a discounted price you can go to the salad bar one time. They give you a fresh pair of gloves and everything else for the salad bar. The salad bar is fresh full of toppings. Lots of options. It was clean, too! This place used to be great 10 years ago. We went twice a couple years ago and got food poisoning. We tried it again on Friday and was even more disappointed. The salad bar had soggy, brown lettuce in it. We asked them to replace it, which they did. However other items like the tomatoes had lint etc. in them. The chicken nuggets for our child were absolutely disgusting too. We will not go back after 3 awful experiences. I ordered for the first time thru Door Dash. I ordered a crossaint club. Which was pretty much a joke. This was NOT served on a crossaint. It was more like a stale, gross, white bread hamburger bun. The sandwich was mostly spring mix. Very little turkey, cheese and little to no guacamole. The sandwich cost over 12.00 total rip off. I chose Mac and cheese as my side which was noodles with Velveeta. No flavor. I got a side of potato salad which was tasteless...even after adding salt, all I could taste was salt. Don't know how they managed that one? I ordered the corn muffins which actually tasted good but they are bite size not a full muffin. The deli space is a fairly crowded space in Greenville. I consider this restaurant in the same category as Panera Bread, the Atlanta Bread Company, McCalister's Deli, or even Shlotzky's, etc. and a step up from the Subway's, Jersey Mike's, Jimmy John's etc. But still, many other options other than the aforementioned occupy this food space. My option here was to evaluate another local offering in the competition for Best Reuben Sandwich in Greenville, SC - a title currently held by Bacon Brothers because The Cafe at Williams Hardware closed down. This deli is counter order, like all the rest. Get your own drink. Distinctive is a full, open salad bar - one trip only. Every square inch of space is used, they pack every possible table inside that can fit, so a bit difficult to navigate. Outside seating. Great food selections. The Reuben - Think about it, this sandwich has only five ingredients, corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss cheese, rye bread and Russian dressing but it can have so many variations. Grilled bread or toasted bread. Grilled using butter or oil? Drained sauerkraut or not, and what type? This Reuben was on toasted, dry rye bread. The sauerkraut was properly drained so that the bottom bread layer did not get soggy, a common problem. Also, the sauerkraut is supposed to be a complimentary flavor and not a dominant flavor. This one was a little closer to dominant than complimentary, but that is because the meat portion was smaller than it really should be for a proper Reuben. Also, the meat was clumped in the center of the bread, to the effect that sliced and in a picture, the meat looks good. However that leaves the entire outer edges of the sandwich being either bread only or bread with sauerkraut, which is only two ingredients, not five. The meat was thin sliced, flavors were good. This is billed as "Reuben the Great," because it was supposed to have a half pound of corned beef on it but no way that was the case. The downfall of this Reuben was the construction and distribution of the ingredients (ratios, placement, etc.) which left it dry and the last bites are sauerkraut sandwich. read more

I enjoy ordering the Full-Service Salad Bar at 824 Woods Crossing Rd, Greenville, SC 29607, USA via Door-Dash. I order salads Monday-Friday. The salads are Delicious, but.... At this location you have ONE employee who should train the rest of the staff on packing salads and packaging the order for delivery. When that employee prepares my orders, they place the salads in individual paper bags and place the breads in separate containers, crackers in the bag and not inside the salad (Cross contamination-COVID prevention?) I rarely visit the location, but when I do I have a good experience with the cashiers, staff. Otherwise, the food at Jason Deli is marvelous! My daughter LOVE the Plain Jane Baked Potato! Could of used a little more dressing butte manager did come by to see how things were. We went during a super busy time but they handled the crowd well except for the seating more cramped than economy seat on Spirit airlines ! This hurt the atmosphere of the whole experience. I love a good salad bar and Jason's deli has one of the best salad bars in the upstate. They have a HUGE selection of fresh ingredients and it's always my choice along with the 1/2 sandwich. Every sandwich I've tried has been excellent, but the Cowboy sandwich is one of the best. It's a 1/2 pound of pit-smoked beef brisket, cheddar, red onions and barbecue sauce, toasted on New Orleans French bread. It is absolutely incredible. I highly recommend it! Who can resist the famous mini muffins on the salad bar. You can eat them with your salad or as a dessert with or without the free soft serve ice cream.
