This Place Will Make You Fat, and I'm Down for Every Bite When I was initially looking for places to eat, I came across this spot on Google and was a little skeptical because of the pictures. But they had a really good BOGO promo on Uber Eats and were open late, so I said, "Hey, take this $20 and give me what you got." Call me the Pillsburgh Doughboy because my stomach was bouncing. The bagel was enormous. Wrapped in aluminum foil, it was still piping hot. I got the build-your-own bagel with cheddar jalapeño bagel buns, 1/2 lb roast beef, banana peppers, pepper jack, sausage patty, egg, and jalapeño cream cheese. Now, I know what you're thinking--that sounds like a lot--and that's the point. For a $10 bagel at BOGO price, I wanted it to fill me up and then some, and that's exactly what it did. When they say "World Famous Sandwiches," they're not just saying it because they have a set of lips. I highly recommend this place.

This isn't like your typical bagel it's much softer in texture. I got an egg bacon and cheese with provolone on asiago bagel. It didn't have too much flavor but it was still good. I really liked the bagel itself I would probably come back and just get the bagels not the sandwiches.

With a name like Sully's Steamers - it has to be good! I still can't put my finger on why their combinations of ingredients works, but they do! Don't make any substitutions - just order and be amazed. The restaurant looks like any in a college town- a bit beat up, but mostly clean. Be quick in the bathroom when washing your hands (bagels are messy here) because the stench was a bit overwhelming. Would go again, but bringing my own wet wipes.

We got breakfast here at 10:30 am on Saturday, 3/22/25. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. The line moved pretty quickly and it took about 10 minutes for us to get our food. It was hot inside, so we sat outside. I got the Sister's Sunrise ($5.75, egg and cheese) on an everything bagel. The egg and cheese were fine. Here's the thing. I appreciate bagels how they are supposed to be enjoyed--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. When you steam a bagel, it defeats the whole purpose of a bagel. I just don't understand the appeal. Why ruin a good thing?

Friendly quick service and awesome sandwiches! Although it was busy on a Sunday morning, Sully's was a quick stop on our Greenville adventure! I've never had a steamed sandwich and I was soooo into it. A bit messy to eat but worth every saucy drip.

What a gem. The customer service was excellent at this location. I noticed the friendly staff members cleaning tables, and even the window sills. I was thoroughly impressed with the way they interacted with customers and maintained a clean space. My husband had the Club Steamer and said it was delicious. We met our tour guide here and we're happy he chose this restaurant as it's truly a gem.

lox and cream cheese on asiago bagel

I'd been craving a bagel for a really long time. I spent 4 years in New York and had never experienced a delicious bagel until I lived there. I saw that this place was really popular in Greenville so I had to give it a try! It was really crowded when we went, there were almost no open spots and the line was long! But despite this, the food came really quickly and the servers were really attentive. I got a classic lox and cream cheese on an asiago bagel. I will say the texture of the bagel was not a bagel at all, it was more of a soft fluffy bread and I'm not sure if that's just how they make the bagels? It wasn't a typical bagel texture but that doesn't mean it was any less delicious! I still thoroughly enjoyed it and they did not skimp on the lox, which I appreciated. Will definitely come again and get one of their giant sandwiches. I suspect it would be my only meal of the day haha

Sully's Steamers is a delicious bagel joint at all hours of the day and at night (on weekends). I saw good things about Sully's Steamers on Yelp so decided to stop in for a quick bite. We had the pup in tow but thankfully there was limited outdoor seating. Due to the beautiful weather, the tables were all taken - but after a brief wait, by the time we got our order, we were able to take a seat. The bagel sandwich menu is extensive and has every possible combination of toppings to choose from. I loved my smoked salmon bagel and Mr. Burn's was a great BEC. My only complaint is I wish the bagel was toasted... but I do understand that the restaurant is called Sully's STEAMERS. Next time I'm craving bagels in Greenville, whether it's at 10am or late night on the weekend, Sully's will be my go-to!

I absolutely loooooove Sully's! Their bagels are so good, I could eat them everyday. The service is always prompt and attentive. Such a great place to eat good food and hang out!!

On a random day I couldn't decide on lunch so I decided to swing by Sully's Steamers. Being from out of town I never heard of Sully Steamers but I certainly had it bookmarked. Originally I wanted to show up for breakfast but hey, anyone can have breakfast for any meal right? I ordered an el camino with sausage instead of ham. I was told ahead of time about how they steam their bagels. Not exactly my jam but I can appreciate being different and unique. The bagel slipped out of my fingers a number of times. but was still tasty each time I could get a grip on it. I should add the Dr Pepper here is wonderful and matches up closely with McDonald's! With a handful of ice my soda certainly quenched my thirst! Overall Sully's Steamers is a great place to sit down and have a quick bite. The restaurant is inviting and consistent across its chain of stores.

This was the tastiest, messiest sandwich I've had in a long time...and I'll take another. Service was quick on a late night food run although the place was packed. A nice place for visitors for good quality bagels. Definitely an experience.

Great bagels and good service. I get their smoked salmon bagel and the capers hit. This place is perfect for breakfast and lunch

This place doesn't disappoint. I had forgotten they change the menu 3 times a day based on the fresh ingredients they have on hand. We were seated on the terrace by the door, which was less than desirable but still good. The chair I was in was awfully uncomfortable, but the benches were suitable. For food, we ordered the crispy Brussels sprouts, Earl Grey tea bread, chicken tamales, berry French toast, mushroom bruschetta and fried oysters. The Brussels were good and perfectly cooked. The Earl Grey tea bread was good, but too sweet for me (not a sweets person). My friends ordered the chicken tamales and berry French toast, respectively, and enjoyed their meal. For me, the menu didn't have anything that caught my eye, so I made a meal of the small plates. I love mushrooms, but I felt that the mushrooms in the bruschetta needed to be chopped. Their meaty texture and large pieces made it less than desirable, even though the flavor was good. The oysters were well-cooked and served in an ample portion, but with cocktail sauce rather than aioli. When asked, she brought me the paprika aioli that's on the Brussels sprouts. Still, I think a lemon-and-herb aioli or a lemon-and-horseradish aioli would have been more appropriate for a fresh brightness to cut through the breading. It was almost a good meal, but oftentimes the devil is in the details.

I love that they constantly have new menu items and features so you can keep coming back again and again for something new. This last time, I ordered some sweet potato pancakes (that must have been a special because I can't find them on the menu now) and they were SO GOOD!!! They had nuts in them and they were not too sweet which was surprising in the best way. My wife got the classic chicken and waffles and loved them and our 3rd wheel got an omelet. He cleaned the plate so we know it was realllll good. We also got the fried okra as an app for the table and we were all big fans. The sauce took them over the top on flavor. We have never had an issue with the service. They've always been communicative and friendly, offering great suggestions on the menu. I love the inside of the restaurant. It fits the vibe of the menu very well. It feels very hometown southern which is perfect because it is my baby's hometown and we will continue going back every time we visit.

I was hungry and didn't know what or where to eat, not like there is a lack of options, but did I want ramen or something more local in regional flare? I picked the second one. I ended up at Tupelo Honey because fresh southern fried chicken sounded amazing and this place wasn't going to break the bank. I guess this place is a chain but I didn't know this until I was eating. The staff were beyond friendly and attentive and they answered all of my questions about the food. The restaurant was super clean. I ended up ordering the half bird with original seasoning on it. The seasoning the put on it is a crystallized honey power and something else in it, it gives the chicken a nice sweet flavor but not overpowering. They also have a spicy version for you spice lovers. The half bird came with 4 pieces as one would expect, the crust was crispy and the chicken was awesome. I was eating the dark meat and couldn't get over how juicy it was. The real test as you all know is the breast, is that going to be dry? Nope, it was so moist and flavorful, it was a home run. I guess they brine their chicken for some good amount of time and it shows. My sides though I wish I would have gotten more adventurous, the meal came with two sides so I got a salad and the fried potatoes as a recommendation from the waitress. They were good but the mac n cheese looked better. Overall this place is great and I would go again. It's right downtown and the service was fast and friendly. Great place for some fried chicken .

The only downside for me was that our room was just a little bit elevated from the street so we could hear a lot of the Saturday night fun that was going on. If you would prefer not to hear the street sounds you may want to request a room on a higher floor.

The property was very impressively decorated for Christmas!! I loved how the large, two story Christmas Tree was in the main lobby and extended to the mezzanine level and they decorated it so very nicely! I also noticed the garland inside and wreaths outside. The whole property was nicely kept up to shape as well, so regardless of seasonal décor, I'm sure it's a beautiful place any time of year! This property has a restaurant onsite, Spoon Bread is what it's called. They also have the Piano Lounge. The Piano Lounge has a bar, which is a nice (and clearly popular) place to hang out and meet prior to leaving the property for dinner. Also a nice place to gather for that after dinner night cap with co-workers. Sleep quality was decent. HVAC in the room was nice and quiet... the worst part of the room was the bathroom, which I hated because you can't open the door and use the shower, because the door opens into the tub. They need to replace the door with barn style or pocket doors, like other properties have. Only other issue was the valet. I tipped a dollar on one drop off one day and the valet gave it back. I've never had that happen before. So, a dollar isn't enough and you prefer nothing at all? Noted! Overall, the stay was nice, but next time I'm in town, I'll try the AC across the street - It's looked way more festive outside and it's worth a try.
