But they had a really good BOGO promo on Uber Eats and were open late, so I said, "Hey, take this $20 and give me what you got." Call me the Pillsburgh Doughboy because my stomach was bouncing. We got breakfast here at 10:30 am on Saturday, 3/22/25. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. The line moved pretty quickly and it took about 10 minutes for us to get our food. It was hot inside, so we sat outside. I got the Sister's Sunrise ($5.75, egg and cheese) on an everything bagel. The egg and cheese were fine. Here's the thing. I'd been craving a bagel for a really long time. I spent 4 years in New York and had never experienced a delicious bagel until I lived there. I saw that this place was really popular in Greenville so I had to give it a try! It was really crowded when we went, there were almost no open spots and the line was long! But despite this, the food came really quickly and the servers were really attentive. I got a classic lox and cream cheese on an asiago bagel. I will say the texture of the bagel was not a bagel at all, it was more of a soft fluffy bread and I'm not sure if that's just how they make the bagels? It wasn't a typical bagel texture but that doesn't mean it was any less delicious! I still thoroughly enjoyed it and they did not skimp on the lox, which I appreciated. I can't believe I have never been here! Granted, I thought it was a dry cleaning place for the longest time lol, silly me. I came in for lunch today with my friend who suggested here and that's when I learned it's a bagel sandwich shop! The items are a great price and it fills you up. I got the Ridgeline and wow, absolutely delicious. I can eat a lot but my stomach was stuffed afterwards and I was done working for the day. I will say that my food did not travel well and had some liquid spilled out on my napkins and my bag was wet. Definitely a mix of the steam and any sauce on the sandwich. You walk in and order at the counter and they have a pretty wide menu and even then you can customize your order and the type of bagel you would like. They even have vegan options. I ordered the original Italian with no onions and add avocado on the asiago bagel. It was around $13 for the sandwich and a bottled drink. They have chips and cookies as sides for the combo and fountain drinks and bottled drinks. My one suggestion is probably offering more fresh sides or fresh drinks. When you're done ordering, someone will yell out your name and bring you your order. I would say it wasn't too long of a wait maybe 5-10 minutes and the place was very busy. We went Sunday in the afternoon. The sandwich itself is an actual beauty. It is very big and packed with flavor and ingredients. They definitely include tons in the sandwich. I cut mine to make it a little easier to eat but it is still a very messy BUT delicious experience. The staff was also very polite and friendly and the place is very clean. Most of my visits to Sully's have been great. Today, though, the sandwiches were subpar. Before I even mentioned anything to him, hubby remarked that his bagel wasn't as good as usual, and they seemed to be using less meat. I had noticed the less meat thing, and I also thought the GF bagel was not as good as usual; it had a hard spot in it. When I mentioned the hard bagel to the manager on site, he said the bagel probably just wasn't steamed enough. Oh, okay .... So, if your bagel seems hard or dry, take it back to the counter, and ask them to steam it more. In all, Sully's is a good spot to stop for a quick lunch. read more
