I love this location. The staff is friendly and caring. The place is always spotless and the orders are made correctly. I come twice a week as it's always my go-to lunch as a busy mom. Great location. One small note: it's absolutely FREEZING in there. I wear a sweatshirt when I dine in. read more

I would give this place a 0 star. Placed a delivery order at 12:25pm. 1 hr goes by and no food. called and talked to keriya the supposedly manager. she told me that my order will be delivered and they would refund my money. sure NP. The driver pulls up and leaves without delivering my food. I called and talked to the GM Marissa Harron. She was rude and nasty. Turkey Tom is about as easy as it gets. I order online and more often than not they don't put cheese and mayo despite it being in the order when I re-check when I get home. Two young employees gave me a gross look so I didn't want to check in there. Should've checked in the car. Also didn't put the cookie in the bag so I wasted $. Just don't go here. read more

Today I ordered a Veggie sub online with no mayo or cheese. A VEGGIE SUB. I ordered for pick up when I got there the worker was nice and got it right away but when I went to eat it 15 minutes later it had turkey in it. They got the no mayo or cheese right but they put turkey? I was confused this was my first time trying jimmy johns so I went to make sure that online it didn't have turkey. This is the Jimmy Johns by NKU and it's pretty awful. I've been here a handful of times to pick up some sandwiches for my family and take them back to the house. If you've had Jimmy Johns before you know how amazing it can be. One of the things that make Jimmy Johns have the best sandwiches is their fresh bread. This location never has fresh bread, it's always hard, stale and almost unbearable to eat. I will say that last night when we were here the guy checking us out was friendly and welcoming. So they get an extra star than they would get just because of that guy. I would just avoid this location because it's just not worth your money when your food is not truly edible even. read more

What's that level between "almost okay" & "just okay"?. There's really nothing that great or mildly good about this place. the sandwich selection is limited along with the bread options, decor is average yet drab as is the piped-in music and the taste of the food is just above bland. and despite what they show on the commercials, service, while slightly friendly, was not all that quick & speedy. i don't go here much because i expect a lil' more in my sandwich shops and while subways aren't the best either, at least they got a more vaired menu & bread selection and luckily there are 3 better food places nearby to go to(ie-toppers pizza, smashburgers & chipotle's) and a frisch's within throwing distant.. read more

This place rocks. The sandwich is awesome, fresh and fast. It is not the best sandwich I have had, but it is damn good. More importantly, in this culinary wasteland of NKy, it is consistently good. I've eaten here several times since it opened. It has quickly become one of my "go to" spots when I can't decide what I want to eat. The bread! Oh, the bread. Its what truly separates this place from the nearby Subway. It's good! The price is fair and the chips are good, too. I got a chic chip cookie but won't be getting any more of those... It didn't taste fresh. I guess they ship those in. Try the Turkey Tom, which has alfalfa sprouts or the beach club with some avocado (which is more of a guacamole/sauce form rather than a slice). Went up to the counter and the cashier screamed at me an obnoxious hello. Placed my order, I was the only one in the restaurant. They were cussing amongst themselves, I look over at them making the sandwich and they are laughing with each other. I have an odd feeling, eat half of my sandwich. The other half opens and a long hair was inside it. Too grossed out I just threw it away and walked out. Not sure who Jimmy is but he's clearly ahead of his time. I always get the Hunter's Club because I mean who doesn't love Roast Beef and Provolone. The ingredients with Jimmy Johns always taste fresh unlike some of their competitors. You also can't go wrong with the Club Tuna. I don't know if it's just the broke chef boyarde college kid in me, but I'd never think that Tuna and Cucumbers could work together. But it works and it's amazing. Let's talk about that delivery service though. They clearly make the sandwich in minutes because it's always at my door in less than 15 minutes. The female crew were tude toy wife and we're talking negatively about her in whispered conversation. They tried to get her to pay for more than what she wanted, and when my wife asked for a honey mustard sauce cup, they rudely told her that they were out and just thrust mustard in her hand. As for me, I made the mistake of not asking them to put NO lettuce or tomato on my sandwich and I apologized and said that it was my mistake, and a couple of employees just rolled they're eyes, and one said " then you should've told us" I will never eat at the highland heights, KY location ever again read more

Staff was incredibly friendly. Went in to eat while I waited for my haircut at sports clips and they were having a ball with one another. I Immediately felt welcome and the food was great. They all knew the menu really well, too. The roast beef was the right choice, thanks guys! read more

It's hard to go wrong with Jimmy John's. The bread is awesome, the ingredients are fresh, and your sandwich is made in about 35 nanoseconds! My favorite is the Italian Night Club. It's everything you could want in an Italian sandwich. Salami, capicola, and ham all mixed with tons of lettuce, hot peppers, onions, provolone, mayo, and Italian dressing (hold the tomato). Their salt and vinegar chips are awesome as well. The price couldn't be better, you can get a giant sandwich and a bag of chips for under $7. There's no way I'll ever eat Subway again with Jimmy John's around! read more

Train wreck today. Definitely not fast. Took over 30 minutes waiting for my order. Then I had to ask where it was. Not a good day.

Worst service ever. I would say worst pizza but I wouldn't know because it never showed up. My wife and I just ordered a pizza for our dog (we would never eat food this disgusting ourselves, try to convince our dog not to like it but he just can't say no to it.. then again he does eat his own poo) and we called a half an hour after our estimated delivery time and was told by the insubordinate and churlish lady employee over the phone that the pizza was out for delivery and would arrive soon. Another hour and a half passed.. still no food so we called again this time slightly upset having our dog being hangry at this point he's eating anything in sight besides his very expensive dog food we buy him. I'm talkin, curtains torn to bits, a hole through our wooden door, and our pantry raided, nothing eaten just torn to pieces. The same churlish lady employee says we never ordered food and that there's nothing she can do about it because we never placed an order, putting the blame on us then rudely hung up on us. We called and ordered from Clifton toppers as we have always received top of the line customer service from that place, I'm talkin A1 you guys. They said pizza ready in 15 min! I mean c'mon guys can't beat that. Then on our way there the manager of the highland heights toppers CALLS MY PERSONAL PHONE, I heard the lady employee crying in the background and proceeds to flip out on us and tells us to never *bleeping* order from there again because we were black listed and we should've cut them some slack because they only have 5 workers in at 1am on a Monday night. Very unprofessional. We told the Clifton location about what had happened and they said "man *cuss word* them do you like vegetable pepperoni?" And gave us a free large pizza. They are pretty darn fast making the sandwiches. Sometimes the staff are happy to be there and sometimes not. They seem to be high school or college kids so what do I expect. I come here quite a bit and never really been dissappointed! read more

I typically only get delivery from this store and they are certainly not speedy. The wait is typically 20-35 minutes and the store is across the street from me. They are pretty good about getting orders right, just don't order it in a rush. read more

absolutly nothing fast about the delivery. i have ordered twice and each time the delivery has taken 55 mins, so thats insane. I will NEVER be ordering from this place again. btw...the sandwiches arent that great anyway, ill pack lunch from now on. read more
