I got the chicken Caesar wrap and it's one of the best I've had in the city! They give you a good amount of dressing and the chicken was freshly grilled it tasted like. Love Cincy Gourmet Deli! I've been multiple times and their sandwiches have never disappointed and their prices are hard to beat. I always order some variation of their cold sandwiches (ask them to add more veggies like cucumber or white onion) but I will need to try the other items on their menu sometime! My friends love their chicken salad sandwiches, reubens, and caesar salad wraps. Yummy. We both had a Reuben with a potato salad side. The order came out in good time and it was fun to watch them make it behind the counter. There is some seating inside but lots of people getting carry out, the seating and tables had trash left on them. Granted it was busy so they were probably not actively cleaning the tables but it was discouraging to sit down. I would not recommend to anyone with allergies or food restrictions, there is no precaution with cross contamination, they were using the same knife to cut every sandwich and the same surface to make every sandwich on as well. Had lunch here with our daughter after we moved her into her dorm at UC. Great sandwich shop right next to campus. The place is busy so be prepared to wait or call in your order in advance. Between the three of us we had the Philly cheese steak, buffalo chicken wrap, and tuna melt. The sandwiches were reasonably priced and nice sizes. We liked the Philly cheesesteak best then the tuna melt then the buffalo chicken wrap. It was not that the buffalo chicken wrap was bad it was just really messy. Went in on a Monday about 2:15 and it was very busy! Obviously a well loved place! I asked for a rec from a regular who said "everything is amazing, but I love the Rueben". It was gonna be car food so I couldn't do that but I did get a chicken parm panini for hubby, chopped cheese for me, and a turkey avocado wrap in case we didn't like one of those (saveable for later). I watched them make them all and they are efficient and proficient! Also very clean. Hubs loved the chicken parm panini. Fried chicken breast and mozzarella and marinara pressed; very tasty. I really liked the chopped cheese - it's almost like a maid rite on a hoagie (if you are blessed to know that glorious sandy from Greenville, Oh). Sooo decadently satisfying like a chopped burger smothered in American and flat top onions should be. The turkey avo wrap was good, but not exciting like the other two. The owner?manager? Let me have a verde sauce which was spicy and delish! Loved it on the turkey avo. Will definitely stop here again when seeing the doc at UC. Btw, not great parking so park around the corner on the street and walk down. Prices were good, about $7-$8 per sandwich (waaaay better and more food than Panera). Have worked at UC for a long time and ashamed to say that I just tried Cincy Gourmet Deli this week (I remember the old one and it was dirty and gross). I'm assuming it has new owners, but regardless, I'm impressed. It was clean and had food and beverages nicely displayed. I tried the chopped cheese sandwich and it was delicious. Will definitely go back again and will try other sandwiches. I read other reviews about having to wait a long time to receive their order, but I went at 3pm so my sandwich was made in about 5 minutes.
