Walked in at noon. Empty. 6 employees. Very slow. Ordered 5 sandwiches, two chips, two drinks. $50.00! Got home, and every single sandwich looked like this. I ordered an unwich, so I expected the lettuce, but not a single piece of meat, and no cheese? All of us had the same results. Great job Jimmy, enjoy your yacht, because the margins are ridiculous. Jimmy John's - Nice lettuce sandwich - Delis Near Me - Holland, Michigan

There are 3 Jimmy John's in Holland, 8th St location closes at 8pm, couldn't order from there, it was 7:59, too late ... Riley location closes at 9 pm, so placed my order there, after placing my order, they take my address and say it's out of their delivery area, they advised calling E 16th St location, so placed my order there and again they said they couldn't deliver because out of delivery area....what the hell?... It seems that it's anybody's customer if the Designated Jimmy John's is not open....as much as I love their bread, I will not be ordering from them again... read more

My previous review was intended for a different location but I used this one twice recently and was pleasantly surprised. :) One, the music wasn't crazy loud. At another location, I have to raise my voice and we still have trouble hearing each other. Here, we could hear each other fine. Two, staff were super friendly on both visits. On one of those visits, I was hungry but didn't have a lot of time (stopped between an appointment and work). I asked if they had anything small to tide me over. They offered to cut a sub in half and even offered to wrap the halves separately for me. That was perfect. I'm super pleased with this location and will have to remember them when I'm out that way. read more

Worst Jimmy John's ever. I ordered an veggie sandwich they gave me the turkey sandwich. I than when up there ordered the sandwich AGAIN face to face and they still got it wrong. So they tried it again and they still got it wrong. Thank God I looked inside of the sandwich because as a vegetarian having turkey on my sandwich is unacceptable. While eating, my 3 kids and I watched one of the workers rubbing his beard. He pulled a hair out and set it on the counter. Another worker measured it with the tool used to measure the bread. I went and talked with the workers. It was the manager that measured the beard hair. The younger workers (not included in the incident) were very nice and refunded the meal because we had to throw out our food. I contacted the corporate headquarters and they responded by telling me that they would connect with the Jimmy John's. I have visited and called the Jimmy Johns to talk with the owner and he has not called me back. We have visited this Jimmy Johns often and am so disappointed with the lack of service and health safety standards. read more

Tried the un-wich today for the first time. I really liked it! With a gluten allergy I had been been avoiding a traditional sandwich shop. Also, I thought that the "sandwich" wouldn't be enough to fill me up. It did. Had all the delicious JJ flavors (mayo, avacado) wrapped in lettuce. I'll be back! read more

Placed an online order on Saturday November 9 for a Giant Italian Club Sub from the Holland store with all that comes with that sandwich, which includes oil and vinegar. When the sub arrived it had no oil and vinegar on it which I thought was strange because I have ordered from this place several times in the past. I contacted the manager and he said they would make a new one, but send the remaining sub back when the driver arrived with the new sub. I have ordered from several restaurants in the past and never returned uneaten food from an order. Anyway, the new sub arrived and this time it was flooded with oil and vinegar and the entire sub bun was soaked, you better put gloves on to eat it. The manager, Michael was called again by my wife, and basically he blew us off and said that when he talked to me that I wanted extra sauce, my wife asked him if he saw that on the receipt and he said NO, so my wife asked so why would you think we wanted extra when the first sandwich had none and all we asked for was a sandwich made correctly. He took it upon himself to add extra and then said "if you want to complain call Corporate". So in the end I was inconvenienced with my time, and ended up with no compensation and a subpar sandwich on my birthday. Thanks JJ read more

After a few not-so-good places to eat while on vacation in Michigan, this was a pleasant surprise. It is a bid edgy in its décor--"We'd like to see you naked but shirts and shoes are required" (or something like that) not to mention the bathroom where there are facts about "Uranus" on the bathroom floor. Funny, but a little edgy. The food was pretty good! I love how they give the option of having an un-which or un-sandwich made. This is where you can get any sandwich wrapped up in lettuce. Perfect for people who are looking for a gluten-free option. I loved it. I'm not a mayo person but they loaded up on mayo which I would've been fine without or with less of. I should've said something but I didn't read the fine print I guess! It was still yummy. I did ask them if their meats were "nitrite-free" which they didn't know. I think that given that there is a heightened awareness and/or interest in eating healthy, it'd be good if the workers knew what this terminology was. They were nice enough to respond with a smile that they didn't know. Anyway, I liked it here. It was very clean and the people were very nice. Oh, and the food was yummy! read more

Not impressed. Club was decent but bread was hard. I asked the girl at the counter if they had a military discount and you would have thought I asked for all the cash in the register! Then I asked for a bag because I guess they just set the sandwiches on the counter and expect you to carry multiple items in your pockets. Bagged it up myself. Should have went to Quiznos. read more

I usually love JJs and I don't complain much but I was so disappointed with my first visit at this location. I get that it was lunchtime but after 5 people behind me got their sandwiches before me I asked the person handing sandwiches out if mine was coming. No sign of an order for me or the guy who came in at the same time as me. So they made me get back to the end of the line and talk to the cashier. The manager said ok we will get your sandwiches made first then. He specifically wrote no onions for mine. I finally get my sandwich and guess what - loads of onions. I'm allergic to onions and I was too far from the location to have them change it. On top of that water poured out of the Diet Coke machine. And the poor guy next to me has his late sandwich order wrong again at the end (not to mention they thought we were together so they didn't know which sandwich was which and had to open to figure out which was mine). And nobody apologized or offered a refund or free cookie or whatever. And it was too hectic to even ask. oh well life's not perfect. read more
