Very convenient location right off the highway. It's in an old gas station with a couple tables inside but mostly outdoor seating. The menu is extensive and creative but the sandwiches were just mid. We ordered 6 sandwiches and all felt they were a bit "off". Maybe not the freshest ingredients, maybe a bit too saucy -- just seem like they need to dial it in more. read more

Great sandwiches, "just right" price point ($20 for meal), and lotsa attitude. We love this location (in between errands); we THINK it may be the old Jersey Junction. Either way, on the way to/from many of the Holland errand spots. The crew was having fun, kept it loose, and had hip-hop rockin' in the lobby (which we loved). Tried the Dr.'s Club with a small cheese mod; the crew rolled with it and cranked out the sandwich in 5 minutes, ZERO nonsense, plain brown bag, and sent me on my way. We'd LOVE for EH to try putting some of that attitude into a tuna sandwich. We know they'd rock it. read more

Excellent sandwiches at this little place! Just a walk in and sit outside place. Looks like it used to be a gas station. But they sure do make a big, freshly made, good sandwich. Excellent choices!! We had a pastrami sandwich, which came on very tasty fresh bread. And a chicken Caesar wrap with a twist...it came with feta. I love feta! All are made to order, so it takes a few minutes to make, but they are friendly and organized and the taste is worth the short wait. read more

Went to holland today and yelped a sandwich place. Happened up on this place and HoLY Moly this place is insane. Don't second guess this place, just go. I don't think anything there could possibly be bad, and I'm picky! I wish I took a photo of how stacked my sandwich was. I ordered the Irish comrade and it was super packed and delicious. I could've used some more sauce actually because there was so much meat and I'm a saucy gal. I did sandwich only, no meal, and I couldn't finish it because of the generous portion. I definitely was impressed, hadn't been there in years because they didn't always give you your moneys worth but that no longer seems to be the case! Place is across the street from the bar they "deliver to". Over and hr later and I can see the shop front with no business or people. Still no food. Would avoid if you plan on eating ever. Their hours listed on their website are not correct. We waited until 11am on Saturday and the "OPEN" sign illuminated (apparently on a timer) but the door was locked and no one was there. We went elsewhere but still at 11:30am driving by no one was at the shop. I would recommend calling before driving there as they don't seem to be reliable . read more

We walked in and weren't greeted at all--felt like we were interrupting their rest time or something. One dude stood and ate his apple in our faces. Sandwiches were fine--lunch meat type roast beef and ham, nothing special. I asked for light mustard and the thing was swimming in it. We wouldn't go back if it were the last place in Holland. read more

My girlfriend and I were visiting Holland for vacation and we stopped by at Electric Hero for a quick lunch. I got Finn&Jake and It's worth at least 15 Schrute Bucks. Both sandwiches tasted very good, pretty quick and nice employees. I liked the overall aesthetics of the shop, wish there were more indoor seatings. I highly recommend this sandwich shop! read more

Yum! These toasted sandwiches were a delicious and fast alternative for a yummy lunch. We got the Jimmy Pesto and 2 kids meals. The chicken was delicious, grilled perfectly and we liked the sauce choices with it. The people working were nice. One of the guys gave us good recommendations on a few different sandwiches, the other guy wasn't really helpful towards the guy who came up after us. It felt kind of new and like they were getting their bearings. Very little seating inside, and the one big table was really wobbly. the place is very dirty, soda machine has never been cleaned and the trash was overflowing and food was all over the floor. the guy cooking didn't clean up, just kept hanging out with other guy and touching anything he wanted with his gloves on then go back to cooking and touching food. I live in Grand Rapids, but had to work in Holland for a day. Needing a quick bite for lunch, found this spot to be close by. It's quaint inside. Not much seating room, as in, 8 chairs at 3 tables. Perfect for me though, and isn't exactly a spot you would go to dine in. Ordered the Shrute Bucks sandwich. It came out quick and was tasty. I like jalapenos, onion, and pineapples so I ate it quickly. It wasn't dry, and it also wasn't a sloppy mess. Just right. I have been craving the Pineapple Express Salad every day since the day I ate it for the first time. It was the perfect amount of greens balanced with the pork, slaw and pineapple. I am not the hugest fan of slaw, as I always think it is usually just covered in mayo without much of a taste, but this slaw is nothing like that. The slaw was a perfect balance to the pork and greens. I am usually not a dressing person so I ordered it on the side. I did not get to check out the actual business because I ordered the food to be delivered to a brewery I was at. The delivery process was super easy, though. The food came pretty quick for delivery and still warm. I want to order this salad and eat it every day! If I can stray away from my first love, hopefully, I try other things on the menu sometime! read more

Yassss, I'm not a huge sandwich person, never have been but lately I've been craving sandwiches. I've passed by this place driving around in Holland so I thought I'd try them out. **Pro tip: watch where you're walking, you have to take a step onto the platform in order to get to the door. I didn't look.. I face planted. I know ya'll saw it, thanks for not laughing. LOL I got the Dr. Club, amazing. & I got the 'sweet sweet baby rays' sandwich. Super good! I recommend stepping your sandwich game up and coming here. The sandwiches are thick and full of flavor and they don't skimp on the meat. :) The prices are decent for what you get and the sandwiches taste great! What a great find! In town for a hockey tournament and just happened to stop by this place after go karting next door. Fantastic food and plenty of it to split a sandwich with my son. Delicious and unlike all the usual chain restaurants. Top quality ingredients and gourmet sandwiches indeed. Love it! So glad to have found it. Had driven past on my way to and from work and kept noticing the food truck. I love food trucks. So I stopped in today. Not only do they have an amazing selection. Everything was delicious and the veggies were amazing. I got a Jimmy Pesto. Was delicious. The ladies that were working were great. Helpful, kind and fun to chat with. Eating here for lunch was my biggest regret of the week. My bf and I ate here prior to going to Tulip Time but we we would have been better off just grabbing a hot dog and elephant ear at the festival. There was a small line to order but it moved quickly. I ordered the buffalo chicken sandwich and bf ordered the chicken hero, hold the onions. After a five minute wait the chicken hero was ready and a couple of minutes later the buffalo chicken sandwich was delivered from the kitchen, less than a ten minute wait for both sandwiches. Staff was friendly. The chicken hero was SLOPPY and contained the onions were that omitted from the order. There was NOTHING buffalo about the buffalo chicken sandwich since it was SMOTHERED in some sort of sweet BBQ sauce. WTF? The total for both gross sandwiches and two bags of chips was close to $20; it wasn't worth even half of that. I definitely will NOT be back. read more

The curds inside were pillowy soft. For our entree, we got the Gyro. The meat was tender and the pita was soft. We paired it with the kettle chips, which were salty and crispy. They compete with our favorite restaurant's chips. Angelica made the whole meal better. She was bubbly and friendly, offered us beer samples and was attentive without hovering. The view of the lake across the street rounded out a fantastic visit. We'll be back.

We were some of the only people there so we were seated right away. The breakfast menu has something for everyone, including several vegan options and a kid's menu. I ordered the steak and eggs (medium rare) and others got the basic breakfast and the burrito. They have cocktails and boozy slushies but we all stuck with water this time. Our food didn't take too long to come out. My steak was a bit overcooked (closer to medium well) but it was still tender and really nicely seasoned. I wish the toast had more butter, but it was nice to get four pieces! Overall it was a good breakfast, and our server was really sweet and on top of water refills (so appreciated in the 90+ degree heat). I'm sure this spot gets super busy on weekends, so I'm glad we got to check it out on a slower day. I'd come back!

Absolute BEST, freshest, healthiest sandwich my wife and I have ever eaten! They have a mobile truck parked at the John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids on Friday Through Monday. Found them today at John Ball Zoo, beyond the tiger exhibit, on the way to the Funicular. Very fair prices as well on sandwiches, wraps, chips and Pepsi products! I am spreading the word now!
