First time being back to the cafe since the remodel and I was slightly disappointed. The prices are very high for the sandwich size portion you get. I ordered the key west sandwich, is was fair. Very little chicken on the warp. It had a very sweet pineapple tasting sauce with I didn't see on the menu so it was kind of off putting. The portion of pasta salad small and the flavor was lack luster for 3.95$. Not sure I am running back. read more

Wow. Looking a more plant-based option for lunch and found City Deli on Yelp. Good selection of veggie sammiches. I chose the Wichita, which they identified as the most popular veggie on the menu. Boy! It was fantastic! Lemonade was refreshing. Free refills on drinks, but a free refill on that sammich would've been over the top! Hahaha. Jk. Thumbs all the way up here. read more

They made it also with no feta, no spinach, no vinaigrette, barely any chicken, tons of lettuce and 6,000 dries cranberries. So many cranberries they weee falling out all over the place. It was filled with a classic turkey bacon and honey mustard combo however, there was also a delicious slice of crisp apple that really made all the difference. Meh. Was really craving a deli sandwich and this just did not do it at all. Sandwich was serviceable but wouldn't go out of my way to come back. My "hot" sandwich was barely toasted, the "bacon" was like the bacon bits out of the jar, and there was maybe 1 piece of turkey on it. read more

Yum! I am new to the area and I didn't bring a lunch to work today so I decided to take a walk downtown to see what they had to offer for lunch options. At first I was going to try a brewery but I saw "Panini" and wound up in here. They're good! I had the San Francisco Panini which has bacon, avocado, tomato, lettuce and seasoned grilled chicken. It comes with salt and pepper kettle chips and the Panini itself was a good size. The price is about normal so I don't really have a complaint there wither. They also have wraps and cold sandwiches, soup etc. I would recommend stopping by to try a Panini and ill be back to try the rest of the menu! :) read more

YUM! We stopped in here for lunch and really glad we did! I wish I lived closer...or maybe that wouldn't be a good idea cause I would want to eat here more. My hubs and I split a Seattle sandwich which was worth moaning over. It had turkey, ham, avocado, mayo, cheese and more I just ate it to fast to notice. We also each had a cup of soup. Mine was a cream of chicken, wild rice and mushroom and hubs was tomato bisque. Both tasted homemade and delicious!! They have really nice people working there as well. We split our sandwich and they brought them out split and we didn't even request it. There are also places to sit after you place your order and they bring it out to you. yeaaaaaa this place kinda sucked ass with the food. Went there for the Tulip festival and ate at the delicatessen since they had a special menu for the festival. And man, did it suck. I was with Dutch people who thought the food was pretty bad as well. I thought the pea soup was passable, but that is all. I tried the meatball sandwich, which was bland, and the pig-in-a-blanket, the sausage was awful. I think one of my friends tried some of the american food and that was better. So maybe get that when you go there? And I saw they had an ice cream bar as well, where you can pick your flavours and toppings. The place looks like a diner. Clean and everything but the wait staff wasnt the greatest either. One person waited almost 15 mins after we were all served for his meal, and finally had to go and get it himself. read more

LOVED this place! What a GREAT concept! There's something on the menu for everyone, and the ingredients are unique and eclectic. Great flavor combinations. You can tell the menu is well thought out. This was the perfect place for lunch after shopping around downtown. I can see that the local college students would enjoy this place too. The staff was very friendly even with the busy lunch rush causing it to get crowded. They have only a few tables for outdoor dining, so we didn't get to eat out there during the lunch hour.
