This location obviously has an issue with getting delivery drivers to handle the workload, so maybe not have that as an option? I'm not sure what is going on with this store but two weeks ago I stopped by to get a totally tuna and they were out of tuna. So strange considering they make it there (at least they used to). Tonight (11/16) I went to the store around 9:30 or so and the door was locked. All the lights were on but there was no one in sight and door was locked. Just wanted to update: never received any follow up to multiple emails! Never received a refund. Separately, the space remains filthy inside (as visible from the street!). So it's clear that management didn't take any steps to ensure future customer health. Finally, if you're a woman alone, be aware that there are vocal homeless folks who spend time in front of and beside the restaurant. Placed large catering order two days ahead. Food never came when promised. Called store only to be told they were on the way (4 minute drive) An hour later tried to call back only to be hung up on multiple times. they show up an hour and half later. Dept luncheon was already dispersed and people had to be back on the job without receiving lunch. Would not recommend and will never order from there again. Poor, unprofessional service. Freaky Fast does not exist. After two hours of no-show, I had to cancel delivery because it had not arrived. This has been the second time.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Staff is rude, waited over 2 hours for delivery, called to inquire about status and was placed on eternal hold for almost 10 minutes. Hung up, called back, advised that they only had 1 driver available, when I suggested they should hire more drivers I was hung up on again. When I called back to cancel my order they again hung up on me. My previous experiences with JJ locations have been positive but this one has been anything but positive. Avoid at all costs, JJ franchisee needs remediation course in customer service, or the employees at a minimum. read more

The food is OK, but no bargain at the price. However, the service absolutely sucks. This is supposed to be fast food; it is food, but there is nothing fast about it. Every once in a while I break down and give them another chance, as I did this morning. I know they are slow, so I placed an online order 2 hours and 20 minutes in advance. It is now 15 minutes past the time the food was supposed to be delivered, and it has just changed to "out for delivery". These clowns seem to think the time I specify is not when I should get the food, but when they should start making the sandwich ... maybe, if they get around to it. Don't make my mistake. Being downtown there's not many places to order from so we always order Jimmy Johns. I always get a slim #5 add extra cheese. The past 7 times... yes 7, they've not put on the extra cheese but have charged me the extra $1 for it. That's $7 of forgotten cheese on my sandwiches. Look, I get the first time. I was even nice on the 3rd time but 7 is ridiculous. They've brought me new sandwiches but by that point my lunch is already over with and I don't have time to deal with another sandwich. Within the last few months this store appears to have developed some hardships. Delivery to me and my co workers (at home or at work) is inconsistent and can take up to 10 hours. Yes you read that correctly. My last order was delivered two hours later. Several of my colleagues report 4-10 hour window on deliveries. It is almost comical to think a restaurant would attempt to deliver in that time frame. My colleagues report getting multiple phone calls to Jimmy Johns and being told 'it is out for delivery',,,,,then getting woke up at home or called hours later and informed their sandwich has been delivered. I am not sure who in this restaurant believes an order placed many hours ago is 'ok' for delivery. This is not isolated occurrences but has occurred numerous times within the last month, the entire workforce (of hundreds) has quit ordering from here because of inability to obtain orders. read more

Hours to get order and never got the correct food manager is rude hanging up on customer's. I don't understand i work many fast food places and its not rocket science. If there is a issue correct it instead of customer waiting 4 hours and still didn't get all the food. 4 phone calls and 2 delivers and still do not have the correct food. Who ever the manager is working the night of 9/4/21 at eh location on 4th ave in Huntington WV needs to learn how to speak with customers. There's no complaints on my end who says that to a customer and then hangs up. call back is this your policy to hang up on someone. quote " I thought you was done" in mid sentence done.... WHAT. Ridiculous. Worked at cookout running 1000 dollar hours and still made service running a 8 man kitchen with 4 of use one on each station. Arby's and McDonalds is on my list all together 14 years. Its not difficult to make a sandwich that needs no cooking everything is there grab and go. Apparently they need new managers that knows what there doing. When i was a manger i looked for the issue and corrected it even if i was doing 2,3,4 or 5 different jobs. Jimmy johns has always been one of my favorite places to eat around Marshall. It just screams college town! Open til morning and great for any time of day (esp 3 am). The bread is great and I honestly haven't had a bad sandwich from them. I love the unwich variation for sandwiches, especially the beach club. Also, they don't judge you if you ask for extra lettuce on a lettuce wrap (that's not weird, right?). Sandwich, chips, and a drink for a price that won't break your wallet. The only thing I would change is the space, I wish it could be double the size! read more

Apparently 1.5 miles, probably less, is out of their range. Their location makes it difficult to have anything delivered outside of the Marshall campus. Kind of glad I wasn't able to order though, honestly, as the girl on the phone was coughing uncontrollably and sounded sick. read more

Really disappointed by their lack of service and laziness tonight at Jimmy John's. Our group ordered a few sandwiches 1 mile away (Edwards street) and they told us that was right outside the delivery area. We had ordered from the address before. I know that Jimmy John's is a chain, but this is the only location I have visited and I am a fan. This is one of my favorite eateries in Huntington. I love their bread, especially the whole wheat.
