Customer service was absolutely HORRIBLE. Whoever worked the drive through on March 15 @12am SERIOUSLY needs to find a better fitting job. Cut us off when we asked for the total as well as rushing us through our order that was a total of maybe 4-5 things? That were SMALL. Then whoever was handing out the food, was rude as well. Super short. Kept cutting us off. Shut the window in our face when asking something. Overall experience was absolutely horrible. & mind you, we come here almost every night and have NEVER had this kind of experience till tonight. Ok, so I know it doesn't really do much to review a fast food restaurant, but since my family and I have been eating here for a few meals I thought I'd drop a line to anyone visiting Huntington WV. This Wendy's is pretty typical. Fast, Clean, Friendly are their watch words. The food is your standard variety fast food burgers and chicken sandwiches. The 'bonus' factor of this place is that it's literally less than 100 ft from my hotel room at the Ramada Limited Inn (cunning franchise persons!) and it's open until 1pm. I recommend just about anything on the menu, except for coffee drinks and the boneless chicken wings. We ordered the Chipotle flavored boneless wings and it was the most confused, disgusting thing I've eaten in Huntington so far. The chicken and breading could best be described as 'gummy' and the flavor was simultaneously hot, sweet and sour. I'll admit I don't know anything about Wendy's coffee drinks because I've never had them- because I don't like coffee. So there. read more

It was around 10:30 today and they said my order would be ready in 5 minutes so they told me to pull up in the shade & they would bring my order out. I turned my ignition off. They brought my order out & then my car would not start. 3 or 4 employees came out & they were going to charge my battery. They couldn't find it so I gave them my car information booklet & the battery was located under the rear seat. One of the girls pulled her car over & had jumper cables and it started right up. It was very hot so another girl came out with ice water for me. I don't even remember if I thanked them but I was so relieved that it started. If I'd had $20 I would have tipped them but I only had $8.00. I told the girl who had driven her car to jump mine to take the $8.00. She said "on no you don't have to give me a tip, but I said "you used your gas & cables" I insist. I want to Thank you all that helped even though I did not ask for help. The Wendy's on 5th Avenue in Huntington ALMOST ALWAYS gets the order wrong in the drive-through! Just thought you ought to be forwarned. Food is always fresh, though, if you don't mind getting the wrong order 8 out of 10 times. Lol read more

The people who work there are all super nice and have never really had any problems with anything. They're usually always on point with everything and there is little wait which is really appreciated especially when you have a 30 min lunch and are short on time! After going there for awhile, I have learned that for fast service and better food, avoid weekdays from 12-2 pm (1-2 pm especially)! read more

Ordered no mayo, got slathered in mayo. Paid money for food I'm not going to eat. At 11:30 PM I'm not driving back to get a replacement or my money back. Would give zero stars if possible. read more
