I've always liked Jimmy Johns no matter where it is located. I travel constantly and I'm always happy when I find one when I'm out and about the Country. Fresh and tasty food that is ready in minutes. When I'm in a rush and see one, I will nearly wreck my car trying to pull into the parking lot before passing it up. Been ordering from here for years, almost always the Beach club because of the avocado. Well, apparently they are cutting WAY back on cost or something, cause what I got was about a teaspoon worth. Makes the sandwich taste totally different. I had to call because I didn't even thing there was any on it. The manager then tells me look between the cheese....low and behold, my little teaspoon/spot of avocado. I voiced my displeasure and they didn't seem to care. Won't be ordering from them anymore. TLDR: Solid option for late night food near the KSU campus. As far as I can tell, there aren't too many late night options around the KSU campus. You've got Steak n Shake on Barrett, and Waffle House and Cookout on Chastain. Not the most exciting options, but I suppose it's better than nothing. If all else fails, I would probably go with the Jimmy John's on Chastain over the three previously mentioned places. This Jimmy John's is pretty much what you should expect - very fast and friendly service, as well as consistently pretty good food. I've ordered from here both at lunch time and late at night, and I've only had great experiences with this location. They also deliver directly to campus, which is always a plus if you're busy studying or doing work. Their price points are a bit higher than other similar sandwich chains, like Subway, but I do feel like they use better quality ingredients at Jimmy John's. In case you just want to order and pick up your sandwich instead of having it delivered, this Jimmy John's is located in a small plaza right off of Chastain with enough parking even during peak hours. read more

Excellent food. You can't go wrong with any sandwich. They are delicious and packed with so much meat that you almost feel like you have to pay them extra for it. This place is friendly. The parking is kind of a challenge during lunch time because it is competing for space with its neighbors the mellow mushroom. Delivery is super irritating. They've told me they don't have a driver and aren't delivering before. Sometimes, they'll answer and tell you delivery will be over two hours, just so they don't have to deliver.. also, half the time you'll get a worker who knows how to plug in gift cards and half the time they will lie and say they can't do it on the phone, or tell you your new gift card isn't working when it will work the very next day. read more

Overall sandwich and store quality is better than Subway, but the downside is that pricing is a bit higher than the well-known major competitor. They are always messing up on the orders and once, i ordered a sandwich and chips, the chips never came. After calling them a couple of times, promising the rest of my order I paid for was on its way, it never came. I called corporate, they had the district manager call me and nothing was ever resolved or an apology given. I would NEVER order from them again! read more

I used to eat at the JJ's by Georgia Tech and I really enjoyed it. This one is different. It's brand new and they are fast on making sandwiches, but both times I've been here, they were very skimpy on the meat and toppings in the sandwiches. Just a lot of bread. I get a lot more meat from places like Jersey Mike's and Quizno's for cheaper. Also, it's so difficult getting into the parking lot of this place. I hope that gets fixed. So, if you're really hungry, try somewhere else, but if you want a good snack, their sandwiches are fresh and tasty, just not enough of it. read more

Hey, Jimmy John's was great. I've eaten at Jimmy John's many times and haven't always agreed with the results, but; this time it was GREAT. I got my usual #17 (the Porker), and as most the time, got Jalapeno chips. The young lady that made my sandwich put exactly the right amount of mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato, etc. on the sub. It was the best Jimmy John sandwich I've ever had and something to ;look forward. Freaky fast as always. read more

Walked in around 10pm. Lady making a sandwich did not even smile or greet us. My boyfriend and I ordered a giant Italian sandwich and we were planning on splitting it. It was 16" long and was not cut in half. He asked for a knife and the lady rudely barked back at us and said, "WE DON'T HAVE ANY." Would not recommend this place. Jimmy John's of Kennesaw was a big hit when it first opened. Unfortunately, they changed all their delivery routes and won't deliver pass a 2 mile radius so it leaves everyone on the west side of the school stuck with no jimmy johns. The sandwich of course is still great but to have a place that opens til 3AM and can't deliver right up the road doesn't deserve all their stars. Friendly staff else-wise. read more

I came into this Jimmy John's today to order to go sandwich. I ordered a turkey and ham with cheese, lettuce, and sauce only. I even specifically asked when they handed me the sandwich to make sure that it only had meat, cheese, lettuce, and sauce. When I got home I discovered that not only were there tomatoes on the sandwich but they put so much sauce on it that it was drenched and soggy even though it only took me five minutes to get home. They weren't busy. I was one of only three customers in there. I don't think getting an order correct for one sandwich is too much to ask for. read more

I am conflicted about this rating. You get what you pay for. Jimmy Johns is good for what it is, a sandwich, you cannot expect more than what a sandwich can provide. I have ordered from this store on multiple occasions. I lived in the area while attending college and now I work in the area. When I am too busy to go get lunch, this is my go to because after all they are freaky fast. That is until today. Order placed: 12:14 PM (actually a little earlier but this is when my confirmation email came accross). By 12:45 PM no sandwich, mind you I work 5 minutes from the location. So I called, I was told that my sandwich was out for delivery and that the driver had been out for 15 minutes, I was also told that their oven went down and they were short on bread, that's fine and quite unfortunate because I ordered an unwich. 1:05 still no sandwich so, I called back, I am told that the driver has been out for 45 minutes and they are not sure what is taking so long, I asked for the manager to get in touch with the driver, the manager said the drivers always hurt our business. 1:15 PM the sweet driver shows up with my sandwich, and my order is wrong. ARE YOU KIDDING? Now, plus side, you can pick anything off a sandwich. Also plus side, the manager made it right, I received a credit. I am giving them 3 Stars because this is a rare occurrence, however this is not the first time my order has been wrong. Will I go back? YES! I got a credit. Am I frustrated? ABSOLUTELY! read more

This Jimmy John's location is the best! Being a college student at the local university, there are many nights and occasions where I need fast, wholesome food and Jimmy John's is my go-to. I ordered the Beach Club (#12) and it was delivered to me in less than 30 minutes. Mind you, I ordered it to a specific building on campus and my delivery guy brought it inside the building for me! My coworkers and I have decided to finally stop ordering from this place. We like the idea of "freaky fast" delivery since we're a busy printing company. The online ordering is awesome and simple, it spells out IN DETAIL everything about your order and allows you to put specific names with each sandwich. You would think that would mean it would be easy to read for the people who make sandwiches all day for a living. Well, that's what I get for assuming (you know what they say happens when you assume...). The first time we ordered, the driver ran away with the sandwiches. Literally. 45 minutes after not getting our order, we finally called and the guy was like, "We don't know where our driver is and he's not answering his phone. This is his first day...) Did he really go through the trouble of obtaining a job for a couple of free sandwiches? The world will never know. So we finally got our sandwiches and a $5 gift card for our trouble. After that, every time we ordered they messed it up somehow. No napkins, no mustard/mayo packets when we asked for them, no straws for our drinks, sandwich not cut in half, several drivers getting totally lost trying to find us even though we're directly across the street from an unmistakable landmark and we give them very specific directions...you name it, it's happened at least once. So one by one my coworkers stopped ordering from them. But I kept on. I just kept ordering hoping that they were wrong and I would be eating my awesome sandwich in front of all the people who had given up. Nope. I called up there Friday to order my lunch. I even checked with everyone to see if they wanted to order with me, but everyone had boycotted them. Anyway, I called and the guy answers, "Jimmy Johns..." Nothing else. I said, "I'd like to place an order for delivery." He says, "What's the address?" I say, "Can you please look it up with our phone #?" His answer..."No, I'm sorry, we're not Pizza Hut." I was livid. I hung up on him and then after I sat and thought about how angry he had made me, I called back to speak to his manager. I explained that I was done, that put the nail in the coffin for me. The manager apologized and said that he didn't even know who answered the phone when I called. I told him that I just wanted him to know how rude his employees were and that I would not be ordering from there anymore. No matter how convenient it is. read more

I love jimmy johns & order it about once a week during the work week for lunch but this location is terrible. When we first walked in all employees were on their phones. The girl at the register took our orders (wrongly) & two guys started making our sandwiches. When we ordered I added '2 combos' but was only charged for a bag of chips (as soon as we handed the girl the money she turned right around on her cell phone) so when I asked for the cups the girl said she didn't add them so she charged us again. We had to grab our own cups though because this girl STILL didn't give us our cups. We sat down and began eating but I wanted to cut my sandwich so I asked the girl for a knife. She said 'it's over there' then proceeded back to her cellphone. There wasn't even a knife on the counter so then the employees finally realized they had to cut the sandwich because there were no knives. The whole time the manager was on his phone...
