I ordered just turkey, bread, cheese, and mayo. I get the same sandwich with tomato and lettuce three times because i do not like lettuce or tomato and it's hard to take off and leaves a gross after taste. So I ask for another sandwich and they give me just turkey and bread keep in mind I have asked for just turkey, cheese, and mayo multiple times and clarified that that's all i want and dont want lettuce or tomatoes so i go up and say can i please have cheese and mayo and they say im not making it again and give me 2 slices of cheese and mayo so i make the sandwich by my self. I spent around 1 hour here for a sandwich I paid 11 dollars to make my self. would not recommend. I like Jimmy John's a lot. Always order the #7 Spicy East Coast Italian. Usually order a Giant and it lasts for 2-3 meals. I prefer the Panama City location over the one here in Lakeland. Jimmy Johns as a franchise is just wonderful, always quality no matter the state or city I've gone to. I specifically love this Jimmy Johns the best of all the Lakeland locations. In my experience, the staff is just always so kind and friendly and I always prefer to go to this one even just because I know I'll always be welcomed warmly. They are also extremely quick, as is their tradition. Sometimes they are literally already handing me my sandwich right after I've paid, which is great. If you are on the go that is definitely super convenient. Also, if you are an avocado lover I would highly recommend the #12 Beach club! It has a special avocado spread that is marvelous! Their kettle chips are absolutely fantastic too, all of the flavors are good and I find myself craving them often. I love that all the options are healthy too. just left the store after ordering one sandwich. i was told it would "take a while" which i was completely fine with because it looked like they were handling a big order. since it was going to "be a while" i took a quick phone call and my sandwich was ready while i was on the phone. the music was really loud in the store so i couldn't hear if the woman working was calling out my order or someone else's so i looked to see if she was going to say the order again and when she did, she rolled her eyes and shoved the sandwich into my hands. i can understand that the staff is stressed out handling walk in customers and big orders at the same time, but there's no need to take it out on people waiting patiently. i come to this store almost weekly but ill just switch stores if your staff is going to take their stress out on me. it's not my fault you're not staffed properly for a lunch rush. read more

I was very disappointed in Jimmy Johns when I placed an order a week ago that was almost $30. They have a bad habit of not asking customers if they are a rewards member and I forgot to tell them. I mentioned to them after I already paid and they said it was too late and I could go on the rewards site and take care of it there. They have the worst rewards app I've ever seen - not only do you have to buy a lot before you get even a pickle but you can't find what you are looking for such as adding rewards. I sent the corporate an email telling them of the situation which the manager recommended I do and didn't get any response. If you go to Jimmy John's make sure you tell them ahead of time you are a rewards member as chances are they won't ask you and then you will be out of luck if you have already paid! read more

This second location has opened in Lakeland (in the DQ plaza where Lakeland Bagel & Domino's used to be). They are anxiously awaiting your business. Nice clean spacious store. We called in a large lunch order. They were ready, precise and organized. They even had each person's name typed on the receipt with totals. You can get a decent sub for $4.75 but they have larger and fancier sandwiches up to $8. They greet you like a doorbell upon crossing their threshhold and bid you goodbye (A little embarrassing and over the top for my tastes.) Of the nine or ten of us ordering, half felt it was a great new sandwich place. I personally rate the subs behind Subway, DaVicious or Firehouse. Their roll is crustier and chewier (and way too much mayo if you get it "their way"). Standard sub is lettuce, tomato, mayo (another reason to like all the fixins at Subway-free). But clean, fast, organized, open before 11, and friendly earned them four-star in the service, cleanliness categories. Prices are decent. Hot peppers a quarter extra. Pickle a dollar extra (and it's a great huge pickle). Chips extra. Coke beverages. They have a meager delivery area of about 1.5 miles around them. Our $60 order and their slow business morning did not entice them out of their delivery area....so we will be off to eat more frequently from those who do. Delivery area and personal enjoyment of their sub created the 3-star "satisfied" rating. I really don't like their white writing on black menu/small type representation either. read more

Ive always heard great things about jimmy johns, so I went here for lunch with my mom while visiting Lakeland. I ordered the beach club which is turkey breast, provolone, avocado, sliced cucumbers, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. All of this on thrir fresh baked french bread....my god, THE BREAD! The bread. It is hot, soft, buttery, and delicious..the best bread used for a sub ive tasted. The whole thing was wonderful and was gone in seconds. The staff was super upbeat and friendly. Good hoagies, my wife and I have enjoyed what we ordered (turkey hoagies, veggie wraps). Although for some reason 3 months after they opened we are still not in their online delivery area, and live less than five minutes away? Also we have had trouble when picking up online orders, even by our third one they were still confused about if the order was paid for or not and questioned my wife about it and if it was really hers one time. First off, I'm a fan of jimmy johns.. this location needs work.. very inconsistent .. my biggest complaint is the stale rock hard bread 2/3 of the time when we get sandwiches for dinner.. you also may ask for extra veggies and get non existent quantities of any veggies .. every time I get a bad sandwich I swear off the place , and then a few weeks later it's.."I'll give them one more shot".. hope someone from management reads this and get the kids running the place to step it up. read more
