I haven't been to a Jimmy John's in over 5 years. This one in Harbor Pointe , Midlothian off of Hull was the same one. I know ALOT has happened in 5 years. I also realize that not that many people order a lettuce wrapped sandwich, never mind that you even named it an Unwhich. IDK, you may have already julienned your lettuce for the inside of sandwiches that day. All that remained was the stock with brown freckles. I understand that happens. This would be helpful: "Hey lettuce-wrapped looney, we are out of lettuce that doesn't have brown speckles on it like a construction site port-a-potty by 5 pm. How about we use a tortilla wrap or fresh bread this time?" Me: "Thank you, yes please." You see how easy that is? Also these used to be wrapped all the way around the sandwich. This was a "JJ Gargantuan" with essentially a subpar lettuce leaf under it. Asked for just mustard on it, got mayonnaise instead. Thank you. I mustn't of realized what I really must have wanted but your employee deciphered I must introduce mayonnaise to my diet after 50+ years, through my brain pulse waves. First, I have to say I love Jimmy Johns but not this particular location. I have had Freaky slow delivery service but things happen so I gave them another shot. Ordered eat in this evening with a buddy after the gym. Two of the "workers" sat in a section leaning their butts on tables, feet on the seats and sang, danced and laughed, played on their phones while everyone else was working. They were a nuisance. If I were the manager I would have told them to clock out and leave and think about if they really wanted a job there. Later, my friend said his sub tore his stomach up. That particular JJs is lacking leadership and quality and it's why I won't be back to that particular location. Ever. Update. I decided to come back after 3 years and have been to this one about 4 times now. I'm greeted when I enter and even though it wasn't busy during their peak times, delivery drivers are quickly popping in and out, the workers are pleasant and fast. The bathroom was very clean as well as the rest of the dining area. Happy to report this JJs now has good workers who look for things to do even when not real busy. My review is long over due. My only stop was here on Good Friday. Being Catholic it was a no meat day. It was around 2 clearly passed the lunch rush. The associates were standing around talking. I asked for a tuna fish on rye. Was told we don't have rye bread - really and you call yourself a sandwich place??? The tuna fish was a glob of overly processed tuna. It was devoid of and texture other than its dense paste like consistency. My preparer was clearly more engrossed with his coworkers conversation and what they were saying than attending to me a PAYING customer. Really? You keep your back turned around to a customer? Not feeling the love I paid and left and are my sandwich at home. My recommendation if management reads comments is to train your associates to focus on the customers. I travel all over the US for my job. I often try local cuisine but I also like having a few consistent chains to choose from. The Jimmy Johns in Colonial Heights, VA is the best I've ever tried. The food is consistent will all of the others. What makes this one stand out is the people who work there. The crew always works well together. If they're not serving customers, they are cleaning or restocking or prepping food. They are nice to each other and nice to customers. It's always great to see people enjoying their work and making sure their customers are happy. Ironically, they are located to the worst Chipotle I've tried in all of my travels. So if you're looking for something familiar and have to make a choice - go with Jimmy Johns. read more

I love the sandwiches here! I'm a big fan of the Big John (medium rare choice roast beef, topped with yummy mayo, lettuce, and tomato), Country Club (fresh sliced turkey breast, applewood smoked ham, provolone, and tons of lettuce, tomato, and mayo), and the Billy Club (choice roast beef, smoked ham, provolone cheese, Dijon mustard, lettuce, tomato, and mayo). I'm sure all of the sandwiches of Jimmy John's are good though. I'm so glad that this location is only five minutes away from my house. Going here is definitely a healthy option. This place is excellent! If I walk in and place my order, I'm out within two minutes. They really do make these amazing subs/sandwiches in record time! Everytime I go, I usually don't see anyone else eating here. Maybe its because I go there late at night near closing time and that the rush is usually at lunch, haha! This location is really clean. The staff is pretty friendly and they don't give me a hard time. What's also cool about this location is that when Pearson Honda, the car dealership that's right across the street from Jimmy John's, had their one year anniversary, Jimmy John's surprised Pearson Honda with 2-3 party platters of Jimmy John's subs. They had a note wishing them a happy one year anniversary. That was a really nice gesture by Jimmy John's, and gestures like that go a long way for me. Can't expect much from a sub shop with young kids running it. The four guys behind the counter were teenage boys, all with long hair and no hairnets. I didn't notice this until I had hair in my sandwich. The turkey also had a gel-like slime covering it. When I finally got the manager, she asked if I wanted them I make me a different one. Called about my sandwich having no cheese...just no cheese; I was made to feel like and liar and stupid because apparently the manager made my sandwich so therefore the sandwich does of cheese. I was told by the Manager how I will and will not speak to him and he threatened my husband to come to the store. He also so dared me to report and told me that he had witnesses and the calls were recorded. I asked for the franchise owner name and number in which he replied was Jennifer Crobin and that his name was Jay.
