Freaky fast, meet freaky slow. Forget getting your sub being handed to you right after you pay. No. Several times I've been in there. After I order, I buy some time. The employees at jimmy johns have been harassing my pregnant and elderly employees over a parking spot that is not labeled we share a parking lot and yet they feel so entitled to this spot that they have blocked in costumers gotten into verbal altercations and have acted hostile with others today they threatened to have the car of my pregnant employee towed due to her parking there when no other available parking was close to building which they can't do considering Wisconsin requires a no parking sign, if harassment continues we intend to get law enforcement involved until otherwise proven to us we will continue to respectfully share the parking spot however if harassment of my elderly and pregnant employers happens we will continue to further elevate this situation.. read more

I order from Jimmy Johns on a regular basis. The food has always been good with the exception of the stale red velvet cookie i had tonight. I did call to report it so they would toss the remaining cookies but not sure if this was done. As for service, i always order online but if there is a question or problem they are very polite to talk to. Service is uneven...one time they had no driver for delivery; several times it has taken 45 min to 1 hr to get here. But recently they have lived up to their fast service reputation. read more

So this one now delivers to our house because the one on KK moved. The last few times we've gotten delivery from this location, we've been less than satisfied with the quality of our sandwiches. Thus, we've stopped ordering from this location. I don't know when we'll order from jjs again, but their sandwich prices have jumped significantly in the last few years. So much that it just doesn't seem worth it because their quality hasn't improved with the increase. So.... Staff are always friendly when we go in and/ or get delivery. I placed an online order with delivery instructions on how I like my sandwich prepared, which they promote via email "delivery on your terms" on how we want our food delivered. On the app there is no other area to specific your food order. I specified that I wanted Jimmy peppers on the side of sandwich and when I got my delivery the peppers were inside my sandwich as well as on the side. When I called the store about the error, Management didn't want to reconcile the issue because it was on online order. My receipt has the words "Can I have my jimmy peppers on the side of sandwich" printed right on there. I spent 20 mins trying to explain myself how I didn't make the error and just want what I paid for. Online delivery took legitimately 2 hours to arrive. When food did arrive items were missing, and the bread was soggy to the level of disintegrating. Called the store, zero effort or concern was given, the first person I explained the situation to said only: "HOLD ON" then handed the phone to someone else. I explained the situation to the second employee, he said: "nothing we can do, I don't have a driver anymore tonight". Then he hung up on me. I called back and asked for a refund, said I would leave the sandwiches on the porch for them, he then set the phone down for 10 minutes then came back and hung up the phone. Manager seemed very confused by my simple order, and he made a scene over removing one ingredient from the sandwich. Upon walking in, I was ignored by him and staff, and he was ranting about a customer/issue. Please read fully! The team there is great for the most part. They are human and have botched my order a few times but each time it gets made up in some way or another. Even during the pandemic they worked their tails off to try and keep everyone happy. But the store has a HUGE problem! The store owner. I had confronted a ex-employee about why I saw them adding the tips they earned to the till while walking by one day. Turns out this guy TAKES THEIR TIPS! They even used to have a jar labeled for tips instead of that plastic tube just so the guy can make a few extra bucks instead of his workers that interact with people every day! The food at this Jimmy John's is fine. It's like most other Jimmy John's. The reason I gave it two stars, however, is because this is the slowest Jimmy John's I have ever been to, and they are pretty sloppy at making their subs. I've gone here a few times as it's on my way to work. I'd much rather go to the one on Kinnickinic but this is just more convenient. They are SO. SLOW. I can be the only one in there and I order just one sub. There are 3 people behind the counter and it takes several minutes somehow to make it. I don't see how. They will just stand around and talk to each other and not do anything even though I'm literally the only person in there, just ordered, and am standing there watching them. They also suck at wrapping them up most times. My subs will be pretty sloppy with stuff falling out of it when I open it, so I keep it wrapped in the paper while I eat it otherwise it just falls apart. If this happened just once, fine. But literally every time I go there they are this slow. My fiance and I call it Sloppy John's. read more

Due to the lack of food quality at this location I stopped visiting, and stopped recommending it to my co-workers. I don't know what's up with the bread to meat ratio but the amount of bread does not go with the little meat portion. I first became acquainted with JJ's during my (not-so) illustrious college years on the East Side. The Jimmy John's on Oakland fast became a lunch, dinner, then lunch again option and, well... let's be honest. I ended up wearing myself out on JJ's. FOR YEARS, you guys. I ordered sandwiches for 8 people at noon. The order for delivery left the shop at 12:13. The eight sandwiches and single fountain beverage didn't arrive until 1pm. I have no problems with the quality of the food. It was the lame excuses, lack of understanding and inability to do anything to assist. The driver had 5 deliveries. Mine, with 8 sandwiches, was the largest. Oh, by the way, I'm about 3 blocks away. The driver was told to deliver my order last (according to the driver). So, I had the largest order, was 3 blocks away during the lunch rush and waited 45 minutes for the food. The ice in the fountain drink was mostly melted. What irritated me the most is that somehow we were all helpless. It never occurred to the manager to call the driver to accelerate the order. The attitude I got was "hey, dude, we're busy, and that's just the way it is." I was hosting a business meeting, with specific timetables. The delivery schedule caused us to run an hour late. Had I been told when I phoned in the order that delivery times we 30 minutes or more, I'd happily have driven the 3 blocks and picked up my food. I've had a chance to cool off from being so pissed off. I will share this with corporate. As a customer, I was made to feel insignificant and got no help from the manager, who kept reminding me of his problems, but never inquired into mine. I can't depend on them to keep their word. "Subs so fast you'll freak", the Jimmy Johns slogan, is bullshit. Now the 8 people who waited for almost an hour will tell their people about this incident, who will tell their people of this fail. The only thing that really bums me out about this specific location is that they close at 9:00pm. The one on Brady is open until 3am but they, unfortunately, do not deliver my way. But I get it...location, location, location! However, I have never had a bad experience here. Yes, they sometimes skimp on their veggies when I ask for extra, but my vision of extra is probably subjective and if my request was truly fulfilled, it would no longer be a sandwich, but a salad with a side of bread and meat. And yes, on occasion, they have run out of the French bread, but it was always towards the very end of their night. And they have at least made the point to call me (I order online) to let me know. They even threw in a cookie for free to make up for it. I'm not saying they hand out free food on the regular and that they will every time something goes wrong, but it was a nice gesture for an on-going, regular customer. Their ingredients are fresh and I absolutely LOVE their bread (even their wheat when I am forced to be "healthy")! Speedy delivery and their delivery dudes/dudettes are always friendly. Freaky Fast, I could barely check in with yelp before I had my sandwich in hand

So here goes my first POOR rating of Jimmy John's. I usually go to other locations closer to where I live but I happened to finished my errands in this area today. I walked in and ordered 2 sandwiches to go. Guy checking me out was friendly, informative...good overall customer service. Waited maybe a minute and my sandwiches were ready and I left. Walked to my car, sat & sipped my tea and answered some emails & decided I'd have a bite or two of my sandwich (#15 Tuna) before I drove off. Took a bite of the sandwich and only got a mouth full of bread & lettuce. Didn't really think anything of it until I went to take a second bite and didn't see any Tuna. One would think the main ingredient would be Tuna, hence the name of the sandwich 'Club Tuna' and the description of 'Same sandwich as the Tuna but more Tuna...". Opened the sandwich up and there was a small spattering of tuna under mounds of lettuce. It looked like a small scoop of tuna had been spread out like butter on toast and about 3 scoops of shredded lettuce. I went back to the store with the sandwich and spoke to a woman behind the register, explaining what was wrong with the sandwich. She said "well let's look at it" and unwrapped the sandwich, I opened it up and she lifted up the sandwich looked at it (1 bite missing). I pointed out all the lettuce and very little Tuna (looked like it was a thin spread with a butter knife). She then said, "it looks like it's mixed in with the lettuce, you just have to eat more". Yes, she did. It kind went downhill from there. They said they would fix a new sandwich and I asked for a small amount of lettuce this time. On my way out, I decided I really didn't like the manner in which the employee had handled this situation and I was going to file a complaint with the company. I asked her what her name was and she said "why do you want to know?" I told her I was going to be giving feedback about my experience today. She then went on to say "well, what are you going to say'? I told her that it wasn't pertinent at that time, I was not going to discuss it standing at the cash register in front of other customers and employees but I was going to be filing a complaint. She then told me she would "not identify herself (to me) because she did not have to give me any personal information about herself". Actually I didn't know what to say to that. I was a bit stunned on several levels. First, that Jimmy John's employees were not required to identify themselves (only by first name) to the public whom they are making food for. Secondly, she said she wanted to know "why (I) wanted to know her name before she gave out" when it was clear that she wasn't going to identify herself regardless of what I was going to say to customer service. Or perhaps, she would have identified herself if it would have been for a positive review??? When I pressed the issue of submitting a report to Customer Service but not being able to tell them who had provided the poor customer service, she informed me that all I needed to tell them was that "she was the Branch Manager of that location". The 2 stars are to cover the polite service I received when I placed the initial order. read more

I work next door and I either get it delivered or walk next door depending if I get my 15min break or 30min lunch. They are usually pretty quick. Sandwhiches are good. Whenever I walk in they all greet you. Which I kinda found funny at first. I haven't had an issue here. read more
