We stopped in here once and everyone working inside was super nice. Food was pretty good and they got it to us in a timely manner and it's not cheap but not too horribly expensive. They have can wrap the fixings in lettuce instead of bread for people with gluten allergies, so that's nice. Nice and clean inside. read more

This location doesn't t open for business until 11am, which threw an unexpected wrench in my plans to pick up lunch for my mother before she had to work today. It was just enough to throw me over the edge into writing a review for this location. If you come to Mountain Home, just do yourself a favor and go to Subway or Schlotsky's. This location doesn't know what "fast" means, let alone "freaky fast," the sandwiches are lazily put together and difficult to eat as a result, and the prices are absolutely bonkers. I'm not down to sell my first child on the black market just to get enough money for a sandwich. Oh, and they don't open until 11am. Which I suppose makes some kind of sense for a sandwich shop but this is a nationwide chain, I kind of expect to be able to pop in early enough to pick up my lunch for later, not have to wait until I'm about to be late. I'm graciously giving this place one star, and it's solely based on the food. You know how every time you go to Chik Fil A you get a really happy person taking your order? Well every time you go to this location of JJ's, you can bet that your order will be wrong. I'm not sure if the owners intentionally hire incompetent employees, just don't care enough to properly train them or maybe the employees aren't held accountable for anything, but I've never heard of another fast food restaurant that so many ppl talk poorly about when it comes to customer service. I can't stand eating here but my husband enjoys the food, and we typically bet ahead of time what'll be wrong with the order. Shortage of meat, wrong toppings, forgot the chips, and for the love of all things in life- DO NOT ask for your sandwich to be cut in half, because it.will.never.happen. Ever. Update, this place continues to give. We decided to give them another try. They close at 9.. we pulled up at 8:48.. Yes close to closing but the 3 guys behind the counter actually ducked as we were pulling in I guess thinking we wouldn't see them and assume they were already closed. I sat there for a min or two and one popped his head up to see if we were still in the parking lot. (We were in a different vehicle this time as well.) I honestly just laughed and drove off. Mostly every time I go here is messed up. Shorted meat, ingredients not spread out across the sandwich, got some tomato skin used for two slices of tomato. Not very quality like. If we have to pay 11.00 for a cold cut sandwich, pickle, and drink, then we should have an awesome tasting sandwich from one end to the other. The only time I ever get good quality service is when, I think it's a manager or owner that is there supervising. When she's there, the sandwiches and service are top notch. The last sandwich I had was a gargantuan. I posted the pic of it from when I opened it up. Looked like a kindergartener made this but they would have done better. The flavor was not all there. We are new to the area. Weve always been subway fans. We saw a subway but behind it was a jimmy johns. We thought what the heck. WOW WHAT A GREAT DECISION! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the staff was sooooo friendly and helped us with the menu. The sandwiches were AMAZING. They were slicing their meats in store. We tbought we knew fresh. Boy were we wrong. And they even have an lettuce wrap i believe called an unwich. So good. We will NEVER go back to subway. They even thanked us when we left! This is first time I have written a review for yelp but I was so disappointed in the quality of food from this location. I ordered the roast beef sandwich and asked for onions on it. When I arrived home there was little to no meat, three thin sliced rings of onion and wilted lettuce. No way near the quality of other Jimmy John's I have eaten at over the years. For a franchise, Jimmy John's is as close as I have tasted to the delicious grinders I would feast upon while living in New England. The meat is high quality and the bread chewy and delicious. The Mountain Home location is clean, the workers friendly, and the service fast. read more

Normally I don't like chain restaurants, especially fast food, but this one was okay. I had a big Italian sandwich, and it was better than I was expecting. It's probably not as good as an authentic deli, but it was fast, and they were pretty friendly. I recommend anyone to at least try it once, especially over subway. read more

I used to like it until my last visit. We ordered 2 sandwiches -- the tuna club and the billy club. The tuna only had tuna on half the sandwich, the rest was just lettuce and the meat on the billy club was skimpy as well. I've had both these sandwiches before and never had a problem. I wrote to corporate to tell them and their response was that I should have ordered and paid for extra meat. Why not be consistent with your sandwiches in the first place and give the customers what they pay for. Train your workers better. That goes for the store and for your corporate customer service reps as well. Not going back. read more

I like them Better than subways. The bread has more texture. I will stick with spicy meats--The vege sub and turkey subs were tasteless--they taste like a mayo sandwiches. I ordered a #9 sub at 11:14 with peppers , found no peppers or vinegrete dressing , called back and was told to bring sub back and they would add . Explained I was not in the area , he said that's the best he could do as they are busy making other orders , mistakes will happen . I was the only one with a order , is this lack of training ? I've been there a few times to get an "Unwich," which is any of their sandwiches made with big lettuce leaves and no bread. I have to be 110% gluten free and to be able to order any kind of "fast food" is a huge risk of getting really sick. The guys making the sandwiches have been so nice when I ask them if they'd please change their gloves so there's less change of cross contamination. Try one of those Unwiches. They are awesome!!
