When I went to this jimmy johns on a pleasant Tuesday evening and I ordered a six inch vegan sub and they charged me for a 12 inch sub. The sub wasn't even six inches long I think the worker cut off some of it to eat for themselves. I placed an order for delivery two blocks away, the order came 45 minutes after the order of two sandwiches and one drink. My sandwich did not have the bacon or cheese I paid extra for - and it took so long that the ice in my drink was completely melted. There is a JJs down the road from this one, shop there. I tried calling over TEN TIMES nobody picked up. They said it's because they were closed, I ordered it at 9:20p, started calling at 9:50p when I noticed it wasn't out for delivery, they closed at 10 & I am only 5 minutes away. This was my first time having a bad experience with this Jimmy John's location. I put in my order at 8:13 pm and waited about an hour before calling. The tracking didn't update either, it kept saying "we got your order". When I called the store, the man who answered was rude and told me that the driver tried to call me. I told him that the call probably didn't go through because I turned on the feature that silences all calls that are not in your contacts (the feature is on all iPhones). But the man on the phone also said I called the driver back, then immediately hung up once he answered, but I never called him because I didn't even know he had called me. He then told me that he "didn't know whether to believe me or his driver". The man on the phone also explained to me that when they couldn't reach me he told his driver to just FORGET ABOUT MY ORDER and to worry about it later. So my guess is that they were just going to take my money and not ever bring my order so I'm glad I ended up calling them. That's not all folks! When the driver came to bring me my order the second time he didn't even know where the door was to get into the building so I know for a fact that there was no effort made to get my order to me the first time around. He could have used the buzzer by the door to ring my apartment or use the code that I provided in the delivery notes to get into the building. He then asked what apartment he was bringing the order to. Then he asked what floor the apartment is on when the apartment number begins with a 3. Like come on. Worst service ever tonight and make sure to keep an eye on everything when you order at this location because there was definitely something sketchy going on tonight and I think I caught them. read more

I ordered 65 dollars worth of food today. When it got to my home, the sandwiches had no meat on it.. I double checked receipt and no I did not order it incorrectly. When I called the manager told me he would remake it but it will take a while for be delivered again. Since I'm pregnant and already waited 45 minutes the first time I decided to just drive up there. When I got there the delivery driver was there. When I explained who I was they said "oh yeah your orders right here" so it was just sitting there while they were hanging out. Cool. I asked if could get a refund on JUST the delivery fee (not even a full refund) and they straight up laughed in my face. I asked for the manager and the man informed me he WAS the manager. And that's how he treats his customers? He was so unbelievably rude I was shocked and beyond disgusted. I had to walk out and when my boyfriend came in to get the food they were extremely rude to him too. How high do you have to be to forget to put meat in a sandwich?? Everyone has heard the commercials! Someone on the commercials is always trying to convey the "Freaky Fast" delivery of their food. But do you believe them? Oh boy! YOU REALLY SHOULD! I ordered the food from this location and I can not stress the exact nature of the statement enough! They delivered my food in no more than 7 minutes from the time I ordered! I should also note that Google maps estimated it would take 3-5 minutes to arrive at my home! God I love this place. And, yeah, it is a "Jimmy John's," but I love it. I've eaten a sandwich there a bajillion times and I've always loved it. There's something about this Jimmy John's that makes it better than the Jimmy John's in Naperville and Bolingbrook. The guys here are kids who are just like me (or close enough, College Kids) that there's always a very welcoming atmosphere. The Sandwiches generally pack a little more meat (or in my case: tuna) than other Jimmy John's I've been to. So, how can you judge a Jimmy John's franchise? The amount of meat and friendliness. There isn't anything else to judge them by. Clean bathroom, fluorescent lights and tables, plus the aforementioned merits. This is my FAVORITE Jimmy John's. Jimmy John's - pretty solid spot. It really can't compare to any local deli you'd find on the East Coast but this place did the trick for me with a couple of lunches while I was staying in Normal, Il. There isn't much for food options, so it's pretty tough to overlook this place. It was also a stone's throw from the hotel where I was staying. I'm pretty sure Jimmy John's is a relatively large sandwich chain in the Midwest. It's definitely better than Subway, but I'm not so sure that is saying a lot. I had turkey subs on both visits. On my first visit, I made the critical mistake of not ordering double meat. If you don't order double meat, you'll be sorry. Toppings are pretty fresh and they had some good hot peppers. On my second visit, I remembered to get double meat on my sandwich. The sandwich, this time around, was much more filling. I'd recommend the double meat and getting some hot peppers. Bread was very good and baked in-house (I believe). Not a phenomenal chip selection but what can you do? Prices are very reasonable and the place is incredibly clean. Lots of seating too. Here's something funny - when I ordered my first sandwich, they told me I ordered "sauce" on it. I asked what they meant by sauce and the girl responded, "oil and vinegar". Never in my life have I heard oil and vinegar referred to as sauce. Anyways, it's a decent spot. I'd return here...give it a shot if you're in the area. read more

I went there two days ago and just started getting awful symptoms of salmonella. I usually don't eat the sprouts, but for some reason ordered a #4 and didn't question that they were on there. The other people I ate with who also consumed sprouts have been to doctors experiencing the same thing. Within the last two days there's been salmonella outbreaks in Wisconsin and now Illinois, so there's a safe bet I'm never eating at Jimmy Johns again after this ordeal. read more

Took me almost 10 minutes to get through over the phone at 10 pm on a Sunday. Finally talked to someone after 4 calls. First they told me their computers were down and couldn't receive anything but cash, then almost terminated the phone call. After I stopped him and mentioned I had cash they had a different explanation for why they couldn't help me. They stated they wouldn't deliver because I was out of their "zone", though I live 5 minutes from them. It really seemed like a couple of stoners just didn't want to make a sandwich or deliver it. This is a very sad turn in Jimmy Johns customer service as I have never been unable to get a sub at anytime of the day or anywhere in this town until just recently. This review is not about Jimmy John's food. I think they make very good sandwiches. This is about the fact none of their Normal locations will deliver to the Ironwood area. I recently moved from Bloomington to Normal. Their N. Main St. store is 2.5 miles away, the S. Main St. store is 3 miles away, the Landmark store is 3.5 miles away. We certainly should be in their delivery area and they're missing out on a lot of business by not servicing the Ironwood/N.Linden areas. Very disappointed in their management at all 3 locations for excluding us. When I was turned away by all 3 locations they said I could place a pick-up order. That's not the point ! If I have to pick up my sandwich at the store I'll go to Subway. I'm not giving my business to any Jimmy John location until they start delivering in our area. Many of my neighbors feel the same way. I'd like to give a big "THANK YOU " to AVANTI'S (3.5 mi.), FIRST WOK (4 mi.), DOMINO'S (2.5 mi.), TOBIN'S (4 mi.), PIZZA HUT 706 S. Main (North Main) 3.5 mi. and many others for including us in your delivery area. Avanti's (Gondola), Tobin's (Big Tob) and Rosati's (The Cheef) make great sandwiches so we're not missing out.
