We went there for the first time yesterday and it was pretty good. My youngest son was bummed that he didn't see any chicken options...seemed like quite a bit of turkey breast and ham options. He really likes the chipotle chicken at Jersey Mikes. My wife and I were able to find something that interested us from the menu easy enough. She ordered the #9 Italian Night Club and liked it (especially the bread). I went with the #12 Beach Club and added sprouts that really tasted good. The portion of meat that is put on the sandwiches is on the light side...perhaps why their prices seem to be lower than Jersey Mikes or Togo's. They also seemed to put the meat on my sandwich purposely hanging off the side of the bread to make it appear like it is overflowing with meat. The staff was friendly and helpful. I also liked all the signs and pictures every inch of available space...definitely a literature-rich environment. I could have easily given this 4 stars in a heartbeat. read more

Literally the worst customer service experience! Don't bother ordering here. Spoke with the manager,"LILY" and she literally hung up the phone on me. They called me to cancel my order, after already waiting for the delivery. Then when I asked why, she let me know they're canceling because they are closing early, I made a simple suggestion that it would be very helpful if they updated their hours on their website. I was debating a 2 or 3 star, but went with the 2 star. Not that the food itself is "bad", however, the sandwich is very simple, not big enough, and doesn't have much taste to it. I was my 1st time there; we work close by so we thought we'd give it a try. I ordered the 8" Vito Italian for $5.99. When I got it, I was surprised how small it is. Maybe its 8", but its this little round thing. So my 1st impression was, this is pretty small for 6 bucks. Then I started eating, its a very simple sandwich, not much taste to it, not much ingredients in it. There weren't that much meat in there. Much less than Togo or Subway. For those who said they are delicious, they probably had a different sandwich. I'm not the 1st nor the only person saying its simple and lack taste. When we go out and eat, I compare the price I pay with the food I get. At Hibachi (which I have a review), its $8 for seafood and all kinds of food selections. Here, $6 get you this simple sandwich with minimum meat. Just don't feel its worth it. Probably not coming back soon. read more

Update: I spoke to the owner and explained what happened. He couldn't have been nicer or more apologetic. He felt bad and shared with me his plan to fix things. He also offered me a free meal and wanted go make sure he would not lose my business. He listened to my concern and assured me he would address his staff and guide them in how to handle things when tough times come up. Changing my rating to 5 stars...thank you Brian! You are a stand up guy! I give this 1 star only because of today. Normally, when I order for delivery, the food is good and delivered quickly. Today, I ordered like normal. Waited 30 minutes. No delivery. I called and was told it was leaving the store right then. I waited 15 minutes. Nothing. Called again. Was told ot was on the way. Nothing. 10 minutes later, I called. Was told it just left them hung up on. Called back. Told them I just wanted the truth about where my order was. Was told my food was in a car, on it's way. That was 10 minutes ago. For those keeping track, I placed my order 1 hour and 15 minutes ago and still have no lunch. Wasted my lunch time trying to call them and waiting for my food. Still nothing. And when I call, the workers that answer have the same story. It is just now leaving and on its way. Curious if I will ever get my food. My husband and I tried the eatery for the first time and it was just OK. Really simple: Don't assume your customers will not know the difference between an actual "gourmet" sandwich creation and a cookie cutter sandwich. The sandwiches are over priced and lack a serious amount of flavor and spices. I ordered The Vito, the deli meat was good but that was it. The sandwich had absolutely no flavor. My husband had The Beach and again he too was very disappointed by the minimal amount of spices and flavor. The sandwiches need a zesty and tangy sauce or spread to compliment the deli meats. There were no condiments readily available to add to the sandwiches and were not placed on a tray upon serving. Lastly the women's restroom DOES NOT HAVE SEAT COVERS. This utterly unsanitary and disgusting. I refused to use the facilities at this point. Try the restaurant out if you want but you'll be wasting your money. read more

First stop is to wash your hands when you enter from a delivery run. I watched 2 drivers come in , one proceeded to get apron never did I hear any water or even seen evidence of him drying hands. After tying apron he went over put gloves on and began handling the bread. The other driver came in and went behind counter to take a customers order that was waiting. They both have touched all kind of bacteria and now passing on to the next. Also a better way of transporting multiple box lunches should be considered. Placing in boxes that hold only 3-4 in an inconvenience. I had stopped going here because a couple years back one of the employees dropped a pen on the floor picked up with gloves and went to make my sandwich. I see cleanliness has not changed. read more

I order from here often a lil John for my baby sometimes myself. It's cheaper than most delivery service and I love tuna sandwiches. I would say I order here twice a week. I usually call and ask for root beer instead of coke because with the lil John box root beer is not a option. When I call I'm usually speaking to one of the male workers and they're pretty kind. Today I call(2.19.2020, I wrote this that day n got side tract never finished anywayssss) and the manager carissa answer's and I say "Hi, I just placed a order on the app" (I pause because I'm waiting for her to respond) she says "okay?" (With a attitude like tone) I tell her I would like a root beer instead of the coke because it's not listed as a option. She basically says okay and it's in a better tone. She still rubbed me the wrong way but I brushed it off. I receive my food and realize I didn't receive my lil John or my chips so of course I call the store. Carissa answers she says hi Jimmy Johns in Norwalk and it gets quiet so I'm thinking it's my turn to speak so I began to explain to her that I ordered over the app and a couple of items I ordered is missing.. I get no response I'm like hello? Still nothing So.. I hang up and call again I get the same greeting but with a extra word at the end (hold) "hi, Jimmy Johns in Norwalk hold" is what carissa says this time. I say oh you're putting me on hold? No response. So I wait until I'm off hold she says how can I hello you I explain to her that she's rude and I would like my money back the first time I called her tone was rude the second time I called she put me on hold without asking, telling me or getting an OK from me as well as the third time. I am usually a big fan of Jimmy Johns. But if they are out of ingredients or do not feel like slicing onions or cucumbers when it is a half hour before closing, they should let us know and we can decide if we want to get the sandwich and pay for it. I order a sandwich with add onion and cucumber. Once I do this, I hear the person making the sandwich hold up a cucumber slice and ask the person at the register if she should make more. The person at the register says no, that it is close to closing. Then I leave and come home to eat the sandwich. Turns out my sandwich that is 8" has the lettuce and meat (good portion) but has literally 1 cucumber slice on it. By this time, the location was closed. Also, no added onions. I suppose the question about whether more should be made was because they were out of sliced onion & cucumber - and there was no more than the 1 slice that she was holding up. Lesson learned: watch them make your sandwich at this location- even if it means standing by the register and not moving to the waiting area. That way, you can see what is going on the sandwich, or in my situation, what is not going on the sandwich. It is sad to think I was not worth the effort of slicing a cucumber or onion 30 minutes before closing. :( read more

Love their sandwiches! My favorite is their #5 Vito, it's their original Italian sub served with genoa salami, capicola, provolone cheese, onion, lettuce, tomato, and their own Italian vinaigrette. This sandwich does not disappoint. It may look very plain and simple on the outside but you can bet that this sub is bursting with flavor once you take that very first bite. I like this location in particular whenever I'm in the area, they do a great job keeping the tables clean and spotless and their service is always good. read more

Since this place opened I always seen it empty I was hesitant to eat here I finally gave it a shot first time was really good made exactly how I ordered it. Since then I've eaten there about 5 times each time worse then the next I always order online and the order never comes out right.
