Went there to get their house special. Love the crispy bread, nice crunch and good amount of meat. Quick service and cook to ordered. It's a small space so most people order it to go.

Was happy to hear about a new cheesesteak restaurant open up in my town of Norwalk! Although the inside is very small, there is still room for dining. There is a small AC split system that did an okay job with cooling the space down; but there was a lot of people seated inside as well. The food did take approximately 20 minutes to make; however, when it came out it was EXTREMELY hot and fresh! The server did forget to give us garlic fries but went back in and added TONS of garlic on the fries (per my extra garlic request) and it was DELICIOUS! The waffle fries were SO crispy. The G-Moe's cheesesteak was very hot, steamy, and full of meat. The meat to bread ratio was perfect in my opinion. Tons of garlic, mushrooms, and grilled onions. The meat was not chewy, great consistency. My boyfriend got the Triple Decker Club sandwich, perfect for a hot day outside! They did NOT skimp on the bacon at all; very crispy bacon and not soggy, floppy bacon. All paired with an ice cold Diet Coke hit the spot! Will be coming back to try their Chicken & Waffles next or the Breakfast Burrito/Sandwich!

So excited that MONTY's is in Norwalk and don't need to drive to Alhambra. Woohoo! Loving how their pricing is just right and I can have a feast. Their sandwiches are monstrous where you can split into two meals or just enjoy in one seating. This $12 breakfast burrito is a FAT ONE filled with eggs, cheese, waffle fries and bacon! I love it and my sons, it's gone gone within seconds. Their chopped cheese is my fav with flavors all chopped up. Basically a cheeseburger chopped up in a roll. LOVE IT. Chicken and waffles, is also a must get with nice crispy large waffle with the crispiest and juiciest chicken.

Stopped in after wanting to try this place for a while. Seeing the hype on instagram. Just didn't live up to the hype. Girl who helped was very nice. I got the poblano cheesesteak. There wasn't much cheese to be found. Idk if it was just an off day but I was expecting a cheesy cheesesteak. I feel like phillys best does a better job.

Great Sandwiches and Fries. The portions are definitely worth the price. You will not see the place from the street. It is located inside the shopping center.

This used to be a taco spot a few years ago, and I've wanted to try this place since Monty's took over. The cashier said that their Jalapeño Pepper Patty Melt is one of their favorites, so I decided to get it. The patty and a can of Squirt cost me $18 with tip. The place is very clean and nicely decorated, and my order was ready in less than 10 minutes. The patty doesn't come with fries, so if you want fries, it'll cost about $7, and they serve a generous portion. The meal was delicious, very flavorful and cheesy, and the bread itself was a little greasy, but I didn't mind. The waffle fries were freshly made and crispy. I will definitely come back again.

Oh my gosh. The best ever Chicken and Waffles ! Perfection. It was so good, I placed a second order to go. Nice space located on the opposite corner - backside of Grocery Outlet. Faces the fountain. I can't rave enough about this place. The owner is Henry. Tell him hi when you visit. He's a great guy and has a wonderful staff.

I've been wanting to try Chopped Cheese, and was happy to see that Monty's Norwalk opened up. I saw them on DoorDash, so I ordered the Legendary Chopped Cheese and Monty's #1 Chicken & Waffles, which comes with two crispy fried chicken on a Belgian waffle. The packaging for my order was nicely wrapped and delivered so no complaints there. I absolutely loved the Legendary Chopped Cheese, which has chopped angus beef patty, grilled onions, lettuce, tomatoes, pickled jalapeños, American cheese, ketchup and mayo on a hoagie roll. I am now a believer of Chopped Cheese! The chicken & waffles was okay. Next time, I want to try their cheesesteaks and breakfast burritos!

Found this place from a social media post and had to try it! Glade I did!! Food was really good, service was top tier. Place sets good vibes. And Gabriel... hands down best customer service. Highly recommend this place and will be coming back for more.

The all American with cooper sharp is the best Philly I've had in southern California. Enough said.

I always check yelp before deciding on lunch, because you never know what new spot is going to pop up! I'm so glad I did this week! Monty's Norwalk just opened in the last couple of months (though they do have another location in Alhambra that's been open much longer) and has been treating people to their favorite sandwiches (chicken/waffles combo) ever since! It's a small, quiet place, so not much seating when it gets busy, but there is some nice areas outside including around a fountain across the parking lot! The staff and owner are extremely helpful and friendly. They want to do whatever they can to make sure you have a good experience. We tried a number of items including Monty #1 (chicken and waffles), Granada, Pablano cheesesteak, the chopped cheese, and fries (both waffle and sweet potato). Everything was really good! The chicken and waffles were as good as you're going to get anywhere! The chopped cheese is basically a deconstructed cheeseburger. The Granada was a great balanced sandwich and the Pablano is an elevated cheesesteak experience. The best part of the experience is all the food is reasonably priced! You can't go wrong with any of the food! If we were forced to choose go with the Granada sandwich and grab some chicken and waffles! The service was great and we'll be back for the people alone!

The food is first off delicious. There really wasn't anything wrong with any of the sandwiches or the fried chicken. Definitely a spot to hone in on in Norwalk. The owner was very helpful in discerning the menu. Even offered customers some coffee while waiting on sandwiches. It's a small shop but it's cozy. Definitely a chill vibe. Will definitely return. This place is a can't miss.

*Note: TDLR at the end of the review G-Moe's Cheesesteak: 6/10 The portion for the price I think is very very reasonable, but I do think the meat was overwhelmingly salty. And then the cheese on top of it made it more salty. I could taste the mushrooms, but there wasn't a lot. Couldn't tell if there was roasted garlic in there or not. The pickles definitely helped cut the saltiness, but I wish I had more. The pickle bar is complimentary, but they just give you one of each that you choose. It's not up for grabs. So idk if I would necessarily call it a bar haha. Garlic Fries: 6/10 They were crispy. Lots of garlic on top. Nothin much else to it. $10 for that kinda crazy tho. I coulda got a whole ass nother sandwich w that lmao. Garlic and Jalapeño Aioli: 5/10 I'm putting them together because there's not a lot to comment. They both taste very similar to the point if you told me one was the other, I would not tell the difference. Neither the garlic or jalapeño flavor was apparent or in your face. Got it on the house, but on the menu it's $2.... Hoping that means $2 for all of them because $2 each is insane. Service: 6/10 They just opened and are still figuring out a lot of the kinks. The soda machine was not set up yet, but there were drinks available in their fridge for purchase. So I'd say they're more in the soft opening phase. Waited behind the counter for a hot minute for some more pickles. They were in the back and no one noticed me so I just sat back down lol. Pretty sure the owner saw me but shrugged it off. Also note that the owner gave a customer free drinks after she said she found Monty's on Yelp, but gave no other customers free drinks. I get it, but idk it rubbed me kind of the wrong way lol. He gave a couple people free sauces, but not everyone. Consistency yk? He was pretty nice though. Doin the regular business small talk. Ambiance: 8/10 The place is small, but it's pretty cute. No restrooms and there's limited seating, but the theme of the place is on point. It's decently clean. The menu is huge on the inside and there's a menu visible on the outside as well which I think is great. The food took about 15-20mins to come out. It's in a huge plaza so plenty of parking. Can see myself with a group of friends in the parking lot eating here on a late night. TDLR: Wouldn't go out of my way to get it, but portions are great. Super reasonably priced besides the sauces. Can't really tell the difference between the garlic or jalapeño aioli. G-moe's Cheesesteak is salty af. When I went, the soda machine is not available, so bring water or prepare to buy drinks. It's a small joint so there may not be seating if it gets busy. Easy parking.

Can I say bad-ass? I just realized my entire review is about their merch...This time I got the curry chicken sandwich. I initially got it because curry chicken sandwiches always have a sweet element and most places do raisins or apples. Here, they did peach, and I was like, 'damn. I want to try this.' But when I bit into it, the star of the freaking show was the peppercini!! What!??! That vinegary balance with a tiny kick. Mmmm, yeah. Super good that I ate way too much in one sitting.

Sandwiches are quite large, big enough to split between 2 people if I'm being honest, but nothing I would complain about. Egg salad was great, never felt heavy despite how large it was, but I also enjoyed the Uptown Club, thickly stacked with each component but felt wholly balanced with whatever was pickled and the tomato. I did find the meatball side to be simultaneously too salty and too sweet, even though you would figure these would cancel out. I did enjoy the looseness of the actual meatball, and the crispy shallots on top were a wonderful addition. Would love to revisit, would be a perfect pit stop for any picnic or lunch occasion.
