I'm a fan of JJ's... much more than any other sandwich shop, specifically because they offer the bread less unwich! This time it was fairly uneventful... when I order I was trying to see if what I wanted had mayo so I asked and he said no... my response 'good, I don't like Mayo!' Guess what was on heavily on my wrap.... A vat of mayo! I was already back to my hotel with it, so I was stuck with it. Blech! I managed to pick a few things off to eat but most of it went in the garbage. The shop looked clean and maintained, I wasn't in there long, just quick enough to order and wait for my order, a few minutes at most. I'll probably give them another shot when I'm in town, but this time was completely disappointing! read more

I like to eat the unwich here because the past few I have had were really good. Today I decided on the tuna unwich and it was absolutely unacceptable. Not only did it have ingredients I did not ask for, the tuna was completely full of water. There is no way someone can eat a sandwich that way. I live less than one mile from this place but was told that I am 'outside the service area.' Well that's bullshit.

So apparently this place has been open a few months, but just recently had a "grand opening" to try and spark some buzz around the joint. During this "grand opening" they were offering any of their classic sandwiches for only a buck, so when my wife called me and told me of this I was all about it. The decor was a snazzy kind of diner setting, with some limited but mostly adequate seating. I could easily see this place getting way out of hand during a lunch rush. So, I didn't try much of their food as I am on a fixed budget, so I passed on "chips and a drink." Of course the sandwich at a sandwich joint is the main attraction anyway, so here we go: The meat tasted good. Cheese was also up to par. The dressing was a bit weak (the sandwich I got had Italian dressing, and I felt it probably could have used a little more as most bites lacked in the dressing flavor), but tasted great. The best part was the tomatoes. I cannot express the loathing I feel for non-ripe tomatoes when I go out to eat. Mostly because tomatoes are one of the few veggies I'll eat on a sandwich. So let me tell you: These tomatoes were amazing. The bread is what differentiates one sandwich place from another (generally). The bread was a great consistency, good flavor, and certainly pleased. The sandwiches are also pretty long. To be honest, while everything was "good" or "up to par" or "adequate" nothing really amazed me. It was just a good sandwich. Usually when I eat at Subway or Quizno's or McAlester's I finish eating my food and thing "damn, I wish I had another stomach so I could order and eat another one." Jimmy John's unfortunately just served it's purpose. I originally was going to give a 2 star review because "meh, I've had better" was spot on with how I felt, but the store deserves a 3rd star because the service was great and the sandwich was put together lightning fast and evenly! (I always find it strange when I order a sandwich that is meat heavy on one side, all the veggies are on the other and the sauce is a blob in the middle. This sandwich was a picture of perfection as far as distribution.) Everyone was lively and helpful. They even had a guy (2 employees at one point) taking orders from people in the line to expedite the process. I'd certainly eat there again, but I wasn't as excited about this restaurant as I was when I first found out it was opened. read more

My husband and I stopped for dinner on the way home from OKC. We had a long drive ahead of us and I suffer from migraines and sometimes eating will help ease the pain. We ordered our food from an employee who made sure we understood he wasn't allowed to make food and the manager was busy, so it would be a minute. Okay, no problem. I ran to the restroom while we were waiting. But when I opened the door, a young woman was directly on the otherwise. I apologized for smashing her with the door...I couldn't know she was there... and went back to wait with my husband. The delivery driver came in and he and the young woman began making food....our order and the other customers after us. I kept getting glances from the young woman. Okay. I'm seated facing you, not staring at you. We got our food and sat. I opened my sandwich, which was covered on one side with mayo. The menu said Dijon, but it also has mayo? So I took the sandwich to the counter and explained I didn't realize it had mayo since the description said Dijon as the sauce. The young woman argued! She said under the number 2, choose your sandwich, the menu days it comes with mayo. What!?!? Okay I didn't see that when we were placing our order. My bad. But now you are arguing with me, so not quite my bad anymore. The delivery guy told me to throw it away and he would remake it. No problem. Oh, wait. Two trash cans with no trash bags. You're still open. Why? Oh, and the reason I slammed the bathroom door into the young woman was because she was hanging hand-written closed signs on the doors, so they didn't have to re clean the restrooms after paying customers. I didn't know this until my husband went to the restroom and couldn't use it, because it was CLOSED while the place was OPEN! My husband began slowly eating and I began eating my chips while we waited for my sandwich to be remade. The delivery driver asked which sandwich I had ordered and did I want the mayo. (Ummmm...) The other customers got their orders and left. The employees went back to closing the place. I'm trying to wait patiently just in case I'm wrong. Nope, not wrong. I approached the counter. The delivery driver came to the counter and immediately realized I still have not received my sandwhich...thirty minutes later. He said I'm sorry, I forgot. I simply asked if I could get my money back instead. He gave me a full refund, which I did not ask for, but did appreciate. I asked for a copy of the refund receipt and went down the street for my dinner. The receipt gave the manager's name...the young woman. Okay, so lose money because the staff are rude instead of just taking care of the problem. It's not hard. The place has lost any future business I would have brought. I would have been the one in the wrong if my sandwich had just been replaced. But since the manager argued with me and then disappeared, and then I had to ask for a refund because I never received the blamed food item makes the wrongdoing theirs at that point. read more

NOT A SINGLE STAR DESERVED!!! As a customer for over 10 years, I am extremely disappointed in the way my family was treated by the employee and manager at this location. We drove over 45 minutes in order to grab dinner for my son, when we arrived at the drive thru at 8:00 on the dot, we were told that they already had the meat wrapped up and that it was 8:01 and we could not place an order. I explained that we had driven a great distance and we would only be ordering a single sandwich for my son but was still refused. I work a half Mile away from this Jimmy John's location. I called them for delivery because I am swamped at work and cannot leave. They informed me we were out of there delivery area. I can literally stand at the front of the building and see Jimmy John's from where my work is located. Maybe they should think about getting there delivery area revamped. read more

The past two times we have ordered delivery, their "freaky fast" service has been over 30 mins, and we are only 3 miles away. It would be nice if they let you know how busy they are when you place your order. Their food is normally good, fresh and how it was ordered the majority of the time. Ordered delivery from this place several times with no problems. Ordered done, and delivered in ten minutes. However, this past Saturday, 5/9/15, it was raining really hard and I'm like jimmy johns for lunch. It was around 2pm. Well after thirty minutes, I figured something must have went wrong with the order, so I called and asked. The response was, yeah it's coming! He hung up. This should of been a clue don't eat it, but I was starving. 15 minutes later it arrived Well low and behold two days later I'm diagnosed with strep throat. In case you're unfamiliar with how that's past, it's through saliva or snot. Well no one I know has or been diagnosed with it. I've been married for 12 years and have two little kids. I work in a small office with a bunch of germ-a-phobs. I don't get out in public much. That leaves one alternative some piece of shit worker spit on my sandwich. Please listen don't waste your time with this location. Jimmy Johns is okay for a sandwich shop, but I'll never eat there again! read more
