I never suspected what a fun and cool restaurant this is. They serve "toasted" sub sandwiches with cannabis inspired names. The meats are high quality, you order at the counter and they bring it to your table if you are dining in. They have Pepsi products on fountain as well as various types of kool-aid and ice tea. They have a large variety of chips including my favorite "Voodoo" and there is a full bar as well if you want to relax and wind down after a long day. I've eaten these subs twice and I love them so much. They have some interesting site that you can choose from as well. The bread is really what makes this sandwich so delicious. My wife and I were in town for a couple of days and were hungry for sandwiches. A quick search yielded Cheba Hut, so we gave it a shot. So good! Fresh bread and veggies with meats that were the star of the show. Got the 8" 5-0 and my wife got the club. Both were top notch - no complaints. We got our food to go and because the sandwiches were wrapped in foil, they were still warm 20 minutes later back at the hotel. The service here was terrible today. I waited 25 minutes in line. This was at 12:45 p.m., so you would think that the lunch rush was waning. But they only had one person taking orders and it was taking forever for the cashier to take each person's order. I originally wanted to eat in, but after that much time had passed I had to ask for it to be to go. When I finally gave my order, it look another 20+ minutes for me to even get my order. My order was very simple. Just a 4 inch sandwich. That's it. So it took 45 minutes for me to get a simple sandwich. I had to rush out because I was now late for a meeting. I selected the AK-47 since I have this passion for French Dip's. I think the 8" is the right choice. It will leave you full but not over stuffed! Made it a combo and got chips & a drink. My wife chose the Midwest Best (aka Club). Both were excellent and as always we get to taste each other's sub. Both were amazing! We arrived at the noon hour there was only a very short line ahead of us and plenty of seating was still available! Server was great, explained a few choices and we were done! Honestly, it's probably one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. I genuinely miss toasted sandwich shops like Which Wich and Quiznos so, this place is a breath of fresh air for me. I've gone 3 times now, I've tried the club and the Kali Mist. Both were packed with ingredients and full of flavor. Only once did they skimp me on the bacon, the other 2 sandwiches were textbook. I've been in search of a good Italian sandwich since visiting Italy a couple years ago. Some have been good, but most are simply OK. I'd been hoping to try Cheba Hut, and was fortunate to find parking. I had intended to dine in, but nearly all the tables were filled. I ordered a medium La Canna Italian sandwich to go and sat down to wait. What I learned was that nearly all of the occupied tables were also people waiting on their carry-out orders. I attribute the wait to their popularity as the staff was certainly not loafing. Still, I'd recommend ordering online and to take your time arriving. As far as the La Canna, I would rate it near the top of Italian sandwiches in the metro. I had meant to have the black olives excluded (or exchanged for green), but they added to the medley of flavors. I should have stopped eating after the first half, but couldn't. The medium is easily enough for two to share, or for a second meal. I'm anxious to try their other offerings. If they are half as good, they'll be great. read more

Got the sandwich with pineapple and ham but was given the one with chicken - both were very good. Also got the meatballs with Greek seasoning and tried some of the teriyaki meatballs as well (they also have ones with marinara sauce). Assortment of great beverages like Kool-Aid, iced tea (with a sticker of the rapper on the machine) and this nice tamarind drink. Service very accommodating and they bring the food out to you. I've been here twice and they've hit the mark every time, succeeded the mark! It's the type of place where you order then go sit down and they bring the food to you but there's also a huge bar with a garage door and an open view of 23rd street. They even have a good amount of parking in the back of their building with an entrance. Anyways LOVE the sandwiches, so great. Super understandable menu like the names their sandwiches but then have what they are in parentheses. I love all the pictures of the iconic celebrities throughout history but I was extreeeemely disappointed that I didn't see Bob Marley anywhere. Cheba Hut OKC is finally here!! We have been waiting for this to open for so long. Very easy to get to with parking around back. The place is decked out in dank decorations and murals. Fun environment and all the staff were friendly. We ordered the 5-0, Acapulco Gold, and a Midwest best to go. Sandwiches were so tasty and unique. I always get the Griefo with jalapeño cream cheese and follow it up with a big rainbow rice krispie. this place is great if you want a quick hot sandwich, and they have a nice range of sizes depending on how hungry you are. This pains me to give such a low rating. However, I eat at Cheba 1X month in Texas. I was in OKC (from Tulsa) and drove out of my way to pick it up to eat on the way home. My husband's Midwest Best was perfect. I ordered my standby, Kali Mist. It was missing the jalapeño, the avocado, and the chipotle mayo. So basically a turkey sandwich at that point. We were already on the road when I realized. I can understand missing one of them, but those three are what make the sandwich. *edit* I originally had the Kind on this review due to my receipt (on Toast, next time I'll opt for printed). However, I ordered Kali Mist. AND if it was input incorrectly and was supposed to be the Kind, it was missing mushrooms. I 100% would have been happy with a Kind. read more

I ordered from them today and tried something new and asked from no mushrooms (cause im allergic )and added a few other things which were missing to only be told ppl make mistakes and he can only help me if I were to drive there today and replace it!
