Disclaimer: I wrote the same exact review on Google Reviews for this establishment. I do not normally write reviews even if the experience was negative, no matter how negative. However, my experience with this establishment was downright racist. I have been coming to Mcallisters Deli at least once a week, I absolutely love the food and healthy selections they have. What provoked my abysmal review today, is the outright racist staff. I placed an order under my name Ranan Cheng, and have put an image of my order below. The manager working the front cashiers asked me if I was there for pick up, and I responded "yes, under last name Cheng, C-H-E-N-G". He proceeded to head to the kitchen counter, where they mixed up my name which caused the manager to return to me to ask, "sorry did you say Chang or Cheng?". Which is completely valid in their clarification (even though I was one out of a total of three customers in the store). Anyway, it was what happened next that is textbook unprofessional and discriminatory. The manager returns to the kitchen counter after the clarification with me, and I hear from inside the kitchen, "Ahh Ching Chang Chong....hahahahah." The manager just smirks. I will let the people form their own opinions regarding my interaction here. Maybe being from New York, I should not be surprised about this in Oklahoma City and the state of Oklahoma. And maybe in 2025, that is just the normalcy. But I digress. I personally found the whole experience extremely uncomfortable, and frankly insulting and offensive. Usually, the customer service here is very pleasant, but not today. The black lady at the register was rude and snappy, which was disappointing like her wig. I decided to try McAlister's Deli for lunch. The staff was very nice and helpful. Since it was my first time I decided to do the choose two option. I went with the McAlister Club and half spud! I also tried the tropical tea. The sandwich was pretty good, pure deliciousness in between 3 slices of bread. The meat seemed pretty regular, I did enjoy the sandwich spread. The Spud lacked a proportional amount of toppings. Very disappointing, the potato itself was very soft. Unfortunately I've had better potatoes from Wendy's. The tropical tea was the highlight of my meal. Very very very delicious! A mixture of goodness. Whenever I'm in the are I'll give them another shot. I stop in here at this McAllister' Deil on a regular basis for lunch. The food is always good here. I have tried a few different menu items and everything I have tried has been good. One of the main reasons for me to take my lunch here is their sweet tea. They also have great cookies. They have outside seating that is great for the nice spring like days. Great Ruben except when first served the heal of the bread was disguised on it, I saw the edges of the bread dried and curling up and sent it back, it was replaced with a great sandwich. The French dip I would pass on, the meat was like luncheon meat dry and tasteless, the dip was ok. Plenty of meat though. Chicken sandwich was very good. Chili, well pass, chili con carne from a can. Update to my review. I am adding back a star based on the response and concern by the establishment. The lunch was not so bad I wouldn't return they fixed the Rueben right away and the chili and beef could be just my taste someone else may find those fine. I can not forgive the kitchen trying to pass off old bread ends though, to me someone should be fired for that. So still just 4 stars but a good lunch we will go back read more

I love this place. It's pretty consistent food and tea! The TEA is everything! It's the best! Well actually I haven't ever had anything from here I didn't like. I ordered two half's of the same sandwich and two sides of Mac n cheese and the girl on the phone said I'm just going to order one whole sandwich and two sides to make it cheaper which is fine thank you so for saving me money. I went to pick it up and headed back to school and when I arrived I noticed there was two sides and one half of the sandwich I called to see what could be done about the situation she said "well do you want a refund or the other half of your sandwich?" I replied with both you wasted my school time and gas and now I'm going to have to come back for my classmates other half of sandwich which she replied that's a manager issue I said that's fine let me speak with her. The assistant manager Desiree got on the phone and proceeded to tell me how it's highly unlikely I got one half of a sandwich cause she knows what order I'm speaking of and she bagged it herself not I'm so sorry about that mess up she called me a liar. So being in the service industry since I was 15 I replied with well I'll bring it all to you so you can see for yourself she said there was no need I could just come get the other half of the sandwich and when I returned for a second time the girl at the counter didn't say a word just handed me the other half of the sandwich and I asked to speak with the manager she pointed to a table where she was sitting don't worry Desiree didn't give me the respect of getting up cause my money isn't worth respect in a customer service establishment, and I proceeded to show her the half of sandwich she packed herself to only get a response of "the kitchen must've packed it wrong" which I said that's funny cause you said you packed it yourself you knew the order and packed it yourself and my time wasn't worth a refund just to come back and pick up my other half a sandwich that should've been in the bag the first time I came to the establishment. Always delicious salads, sandwiches, soups and spuds. I love how affordable McAlisters is and how friendly everyone is. The employees were all wearing masks and practicing social distancing. They have this new blueberry lemonade and it is delicious. The seasonal summer salads are back and so tasty. read more

This place is amazing and the staff is so awesome and nice! My food was delicious!! I got the McAlister's club and it was the bomb! I think I've found my new sandwich place. We picked up on online order and had a missing item and my daughter's sandwich as so burnt she couldn't even eat it. I called the restaurant and spoke with the manager and not only did he remake the sandwich and replace the missing items, he did it quickly and gave us a little extra, and did it with a smile. I placed a to go order and the staff was very nice and friendly. The only complaint is they forgot my side and I didn't notice it until I got home. I called to let them know but the manager seemed unbothered. First time eating at this location and I placed my order online for pickup. The veggie sandwich on a whole wheat wrap was fresh and delicious. The potato salad side was also very good. Some of the best potato salad I've had in a redtaurant, in fact. Ordered my sandwich with pepper jack cheese and a pickle and did not receive either, which was slightly annoying since I was on my lunch hour and didn't have time to unwrap everything to check my order when I picked it up. I came to this location on Valentine's Day with my kids. We walked in and went to the counter and no one greeted us or said hello as we got close. I waited there as workers and who I'm assuming is the manager walked past me and still didn't say anything. After about 4 minutes I was finally acknowledged. we love mcalisters. tonight we went in and walked up to order, the employees just stared at us without saying a word, we had to engage our own order. after the first meal we ordered, they didn't ask 'what else can i get for you' or anything like that so we were kind of just standing there like uhhhh..... they were very slow and didn't really seem to care. i do understand oh it's work and it was a little late but still there should at least be some kind of emotion with it. we got our food and it was more than normal, which is great and it tasted good as usual. we'll continue going to mcalisters but will most likely not return to that location read more
