I have been eating JJ for the longest time and this one in Orland Park was my first time there since I was on the way to my therapist. I normally go to the one in Tinley Park or Palos Heights and they were always so so good. This Orland Park one was really a big disappointment. I don't eat meat so I always get the Veggie Sub and ask for extra tomatoes, pickles, onions and cucumber. The other locations usually load it up. This place was LESS than what it usually comes and there wasn't any avocado that I can taste. I know it is inside the cheese but I can't taste any at all. No one greeted me and the only reason why I gave it 2 stars was because it was at least clean. I don't think I will visit this JJ again. Ordered the 30 pack. Paid for extra turkey on the turkey sandwiches. Each of the small individual sandwiches had about .6 of an ounce. That's extra!??? With the supposed extra meat, the order was about $85. Basically got a bunch of bread with a few ounces of meat. There was probably a total of about 18 ounces of meat on the 30 sandwiches. I recently went to the Jimmy Johns in Orland Park and I have honestly never been so disappointed in my life with this place. Ive been going to this location for around 4 years and the customer service the other day way terrible. There were two ladies that were working that were phenomenal, this gentlemen who has blue ish hair was rude, looked at me nasty, and didn't even say anything while he was just sitting on his phone. I came here today and ordered the "frenchie" through the app. It's $3.99 and delicious. I really love the bread, and how it has a strong salted buttery taste. The bread was very fresh, and nice and soft. The sandwich came with salami, capicola, provolone, and packets of mayo and mustard if you want them. I came in for a catering pick up order and I was told by the girl with the green hair that my pick up would be on the rack but I told her I had catering and she rolled her eyes at me. Then I asked her if she could give me a bag with napkins in it and she responded with "we already put mayo on the sandwiches" and I told her if I could get the napkins anyways. She came back and dropped the bag rudely on top of my order and she tucked her hands in her apron and turned her back to me. All I wanted was a Sandwich and a pop. Well for starters I never received a Thank you or a copy of my receipt. I asked for no onions on my sandwich and I seen the guy behind he counter put them on. I said "Whoah..no onions buddy". He looked and me and asked if I just didn't like them or if I was a allergic. I asked what is the difference? He said he'd have to make a new sandwich if I was allergic. So he just picked them out of my sandwich (gross) and the guy who wrapped it didn't give me a napkin or thank me either. So I had to grab the napkins and a bag which they didn't offer and do half of their job for them. On my way out I noticed that I never received a cup for my pop. I asked for a cup and the guy had the nerve to ask me if I paid for one. I almost took the sandwich and threw it in the trash because that's the type of service I got. First off my sandwich was good, they were able to make my sandwich quickly which I appreciated. Other than that, that is where everything good ended. I am pretty tolerant of rude service, almost tolerant to a fault. I felt really uncomfortable here. To abide by the CDC guidelines, which is even reinforced at the entrance of the store, all are supposed to be wearing masks. At least 3 of the employees, who were making the food, were not compliant. I come here quite often and haven't gotten around to writing a good review of the place! I usually come here on the weekends and the service here is decent and the food is 'freaky fast'. The staff is usually welcoming but there's a girl who stands out from the rest. A shorter blonde girl with glasses and a lip ring is always so helpful and kind to me- she's there almost everytime I go in and she is always cleaning her heart out! So, my family has been going to this locations for years. Usually, we have a great experience. Today however, my mother had very rude service only 15/20 minutes ago, in particular from two female staff members, one being a girl names grace. Now I will, say that the food looks fine, but even from walking in the door one woman, not grace, seemed put out simply with my mother's presence, snapping "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" While my mother was waiting away from the counter for a few minutes while waiting for a texted order. Then during order the other girl, grace, while not rude, was a little short with her during checkout and forgot to add a drink order. Which normally wouldn't be a problem, mistakes happen, but grace seemed put out by it also. Then when the food was done, one of the staff members put the food out, a couple sandwiches and bags of chips on the counter without a bag or napkins, and then when my mom asked for a bag they told her to reach over the counter and "help herself", which we feel is not exactly safe given the current health crisis. And the sticky floors that probably haven't seen a mop since they opened to the beautifully dirty table that I had to clean off to sit to how they didn't give us napkins and how I had to into the bathroom to get them out of the dispenser. At 12:30 pm, the sandwiches still hadn't arrived, and our boss called to find out what the problem was. The guy said that the sandwiches should be there any minute now. At 1:15, the boss called once more and was told the sandwiches would be "right there" and that there would be no charge now. They didn't arrive til almost 1:45.
