We are actually out at a hospital out in Harvey and I ordered to the wrong location under the wrong name and when I called this location to explain and just tell them that we wouldn't make their in time, they actually offered me a refund. Last week I was so disturbed , had a lost of appetite, gag reflex , shocked and disgusted after eating a sandwich I bought from potbelly in Oak Lawn on 95th street. When I got to my car I begin to eat the sandwich and actually ate half of sandwich munch munch when I realized the sandwich was falling apart and something seem like it was crawling out of it . To my grand Suprise and great disbelief when I opened the sandwich a COCKROACH was crawling out of the sandwich and was on the wrapper. I returned back to the store with the COCKROACH SANDWICH to speak to the GM and the employee was giving no info she said " there was nothing she couldn't do " plus she decline to give me info about the GM. She told me she was the manager on staff that I was to speak to her . She asked me " Did you eat the CORCKROACH?" When my mom asked her if it was her what would she do ? She responded "Just pick it out ." That what pissed me totally out . I also asked for corporate and was give no info . But they told me they have a public message out on me in all branches in potbelly that it is a is a scam " For $11 , really ? so I want to create awareness out to people to let them know to check their food before they eat it . I ordered a sandwich for dinner tonight through the Potbelly app, and my order ended up being fulfilled by DoorDash. I wish I would've known it was through DoorDash, there was no mention of it anywhere, and DoorDash usually allows you to add other items that are along the way with no extra delivery fees. The sandwich got here pretty quickly which I can appreciate, and all of the instructions were followed. I'd order again, but I probably won't do it through their app as I didn't love the user interface. I'd recommend Potbelly to anyone in the area craving sandwiches. read more

They responded immediately and said that the meat was within its shelf life, and they'd double check the product again and I'd receive a free sandwich. I put in an order online through their website, I paid for it and left a tip. My order was confirmed at 6:40 pm. They said it was expected to deliver at my apartment at 7:30 pm. I waited an hour before I called to ask about my order. At 7:45 pm I called to inform them that my order had not yet been delivered. No one picked up the first two tries, the phone rang, and rang, and rang. Good size eating area in this establishment means no forced "take outs" unless you want to. The staff is friendly, efficient and treats you to a smile when asking how you'd like your order created. We were here toward the end of the mid-week lunch hour but the line kept moving at a regular pace. Food was very good for sub-style sandwiches. I had the chicken cheddar sandwich and my friend had the turkey...both of us very pleased with our meals when we were finished and left a nice, comfortable dining experience behind us. Good sandwiches. I get the turkey sandwich and it is always fresh. The BEST brownie cookies ever. I highly recommend them. I recently tried the Farmhouse salad and wasn't a huge fan. I didn't like the blue cheese in there at all. I'll stick to the sandwiches or maybe try a different salad next time. Parking lot is a nightmare. It is not big at all and it is shared with Starbucks, a pizza place, a nail salon and a dialysis center (which has half the parking lot marked with signs for their patients-understandably). On a whim I decided to try a sandwich here after a local appointment. It was early in the day so the place was not packed or congested. I know most people wouldn't compare Pot Belly to Subway but I rather enjoy the later so it's my point of comparison. Everyone was quite polite and cheerful from the moment that we walked in. They gave recommendations that saved me a few dollars and gave me more of what I really wanted, grilled veggies and cheese. Everything was fresh and delicious! It was a NOM NOM-don't-talk-to-me-because I'm-smashing-moment. I could have used more mushrooms on my full sized veggie sub but that was my fault not to request it prior. I'll definitely go back when in the area, and I plan to try a closer location. Subway is still one of my favorites because of the veggie patty option, but I became a huge fan of Pot Belly after that meal. read more
