Went to check out Jimmy John's for a fresh sandwich on a hot day. When I went in the store smells so good and the cashier was very nice. I ordered the lil John Vito with no tomatoes. I liked the flavor and the chewiness of the bread, but I noticed they don't put a lot of meat or lettuce.

#12 beach club. Sandwich was supposed to have oil and avocado. It had neither.

I was really excited to finally try Jimmy John's -- I've been waiting for this location (Coffee Rd) to open -- but I walked away completely let down. I ordered two sandwiches, the Italian #9 and the Turkey #12, and both were very disappointing. Neither had much flavor; they were very bland. The Italian tasted mostly like plain meat, and I couldn't taste any of the oil or seasoning that should've been there. The Turkey was even worse -- the bread completely overpowered the meat, and it was supposed to come with avocado, but they didn't even include it (and I didn't ask for it as an extra). I'm not sure if it's worth taking a second chance when I can across the street and get a Jersey Mikes that I know will be consistent. After all the anticipation, the sandwiches lacked flavor, balance, and attention to detail. Honestly, I expected a lot better and feel really disappointed.

Great location next to Starbucks! There are tons of parking, and im sure this shopping center is going to be very popular with all the great places around! Very cute, clean place with an outside patio. Staff was up front and friendly and did offer to answer any questions if we had any. I got the Country Club, and maybe I didn't know how to make it big and tasty with the works, but it wasn't that great. My husband got the Bootlegger Club, and he really liked it. I had a bite, and it was better than mine. Maybe it was the pickles. To me, the bread was mediocre. There wasn't anything special that stood out. If I were to return, I'd ask for extra trimmings and see if that makes a difference.

So I absolutely love Jimmy Johns in Clovis. They have some of the best subs with the freshest ingredients. So I want to be fair with review as I do understand that sometimes things are out of your control, this being the delivery of their french roll dough. With that said they only get 4 stars could've easily gotten 5 but should've gotten 2-3 because of being out of French Bread. The location for me is about 20 plus minutes away from the Northeast but I really wanted the sub so I made the drive. The place is really nice with just a few tables indoors and a few on a partially covered patio. I ordered the number 11 with lettuce, onions, oil and vinegar and salt snd pepper. I had to choose a different bread, so I went with the whole wheat sandwich bread which is fresh made. This was a combo so it came with a chip snd drink. The young man at the counter was real friendly and fairly new at taking sandwich orders. He did an ok job as I ended up with tomatoes on my sandwich which wasn't a deal breaker. The sandwich was load with meat and just enough lettuce and onions to not over power the sandwich. All in all except for the French bread issue was worth the drive.

You guys didn't have to be so stingy with the meat. I barely got any turkey in my $12 sandwich

We came over here for a quick dinner all the way from the Northwest of Bakersfield. Place was empty when we arrived but shortly after our order it was a wave of people coming in. It's fairly new and still trying to train employees on all the SOP's. I ordered the #7 spicy east coast Italian combo. Now when you're inside looking at the menu specifically, the #7 says it comes with double salami, double capicola, cheese, hot peppers, onion, oil and vinegar, and oregano and basil. When the order came out, the only I received from the menu description was onion and peppers and the meat and cheese. They added mayo, lettuce and tomatoes which was never listed on the sandwich menu and never added half of what what suppose to come on it. I walked up and said my order was wrong which they looked and said it was right that they make all sandwiches with it on like I received. They said if I wanted exactly the menu way I would have to ask specifically for it otherwise all sandwiches come with the fixings. Definitely pissed me off that you read the offer of a sandwich on their menu but they won't make the way the combo comes unless you ask for it specifically that way. If they were that messed up from the start, I definitely wasn't about to wait around for another sandwich to be made with the 15 people who came after waiting in line. The entire combo meal plus another combo was over $30 and both were regular combos. The chicken sandwich was cold with no bbq ranch sauce like it said and again all the fixings that the menu didn't say it came with and the chicken looked shredded from a can. Definitely will never come back from shear price for a sandwich and not being able to accomplish the simplest tasks in the fast food industry which is make a DAMN SANDWICH according to your own menu. If I could, they would receive a negative star review. I suspect they will be closed before the lease agreement is up if they continue the path they are starting out in.

I hope someone reads this…read more I honestly never thought I would be writing a review like this. I have been coming to Sequoia Sandwich Company for many years, and as an elderly customer who has supported this business for a long time, it really hurts to say that I left feeling disappointed, uncomfortable, and frankly disgusted. What upset me the most was watching employees handle food without gloves, including handing food to dine-in customers, while also working the register and doing other tasks. Seeing someone handle money, touch the register and other surfaces, and then go right back to handling food without gloves was extremely upsetting to me. I understand that employees have many responsibilities, but as a customer, I should not have to sit there wondering whether the food being handed to me has been handled in a clean and sanitary manner. I came in expecting to enjoy a meal from a place I have trusted for years, and instead I found myself feeling uneasy about eating it. Maybe some people will say I'm being overly concerned, but when you've been a customer for many years, you notice when things don't feel right. Basic cleanliness and proper food handling should never be something customers have to worry about. It genuinely saddens me because I have supported this business for so long. I don't want to see a place I've enjoyed for years lose sight of something as important as cleanliness and customer confidence. I sincerely hope the owners and management read this and take it seriously. Please pay closer attention to how employees handle food, especially when they are also handling money and touching other surfaces. Your longtime customers deserve better, and I deserve to feel comfortable eating the food I am paying for. I left feeling more than disappointed, I left feeling let down by a business I had trusted for years.

We started with the hostess Esbedie ,she explained everything to us about any of the items we have on the menu as we were visiting for the first time we settled on the smoked turkey sandwich on a brioche bun w/ macaroni and cheese for the first meal and we decided on the brisket and cheddar sandwich on a hoagie roll with barbecue baked beans. (The only reason we got the original smoked turkey sandwich was because the smoked turkey club which was pictured from a previous yelper at this location was not made at this location per the hostess) Either way , both amazing choices to anyone ordering barbecue we were hoping it would meet our Easter Sunday expectations. They absolutely did! Honestly I tried to eat the food as fast as possible as I did not want my brisket sandwich to get cold so my wife and I shared half each I wanted the brisket more than the turkey so I ate that first The brisket sandwich 4/5 stars very tender very tasty and mixed with half sweet and regular barbecue sauce tasted great. A very well put together sandwich with a slight hiccup or 2 as this was supposed to be and was labeled as a brisket and cheddar sandwich.. what I got for the "cheddar" on this 8-in sandwich was brisket and one slice of cheddar broken by hand placed on each side of the cut sandwich.... disappointed to say the least, the other thing was the dry cabbage which I believe should have been finely chopped was just big chunks of cabbage not placed well but thrown in the sandwich. After taking out all the cabbage cutting it into smaller pieces and placing it back into the sandwich it felt as if I should have prepared it in the kitchen myself as that's pretty much what happened... The smoked turkey sandwich 4/5 stars which had a great amount of smoked turkey very tasty very moist overall something I may have to try to make myself one day this sandwich came on a very good brioche bun that made this turkey sandwich a very good one to get this also had a slight pick up and that was the miniscule slice of tomato, and a smudge of the Special Sauce that was on the bun in the very big sandwich that was placed on the table. Other than that it was a great sandwich. Next was the macaroni and cheese 4/5 stars was ok, not my cup of tea as I thought the cheese seemed fake by the flour based flavor alone and the peppercorns were too large for the mix however my beautiful sidekick that accompanied me thought it was amazing so I'm not sure what to say but apparently I was "told" to give it 4.5 out of 5 stars and I told her yeah/no ,YELP doesn't work like that so I'm going to give it four stars so 4 out of 5 stars for the mac and cheese. FINALLY was the barbecue baked beans 5 outta 5 stars ,they seem to have some sort of chopped meat inside the beans and the barbecue Bean flavor was the highlight of the visit no complaints don't change that recipe it was very good. Overall a great experience I will definitely go pay them a visit as I would like to try one the Mixed Plate of meats that they had for approximately 1 lb of mixed meat for about $33. They also have a massive beef rib on the menu that I would love to try no matter what happens in April, I'll let you know when I go back in May.. thanks for listening..

I asked about their signature marinade to get an idea of flavors and they stated it was like a Mexican polo flavor. I made it with some white rice and it worked out really well. The chicken breasts were so thick! You could easily filet them and double your amount. They also didn't appear to have the white lines that I see in the supermarket chicken breasts.
