I love this Jimmy John's as the food is always the same price as it was the time before. Sometimes I go to Jimmy John's and there's a different price and I just don't understand why but this one is really on point and the food is really good as well. The soda is consistent as well as the food. Everyone is really nice and they work really fast what time I was so silly. I drove off without my sandwich hand made it all the way to Louisville and realized I forgot to eat. I called them and said I just think I'm crazy. Did I leave a sandwich there in the drive thru? They said yes, I did and then I could come and get another one next time I was in town. oh my God I was so embarrassed, but I sure did go get that sandwich and it was just as delicious as I imagined it would be. read more

Happy to find a JJ's location just a short distance off the interstate. Jimmy John's is my go -to sandwich shop when I am driving between work locations in a hurry. Easy to order on the app, and although I went inside to pick up my food there is a drive thru here. Friendly service and as usual freaky fast. AWFUL service!!! They are so slow and don't give a sh*t what they're doing. Our order was only two sandwiches and took over a HALF HOUR today. Three of them working - one of them stood and watched the other two and the two making sandwiches were slow as snails. No one apologized for the wait, let alone they left our order sitting without letting us know it was done. When we finally got it I told them the service sucked and one told us to not come back - don't worry, we won't because of your awful demeanor and service! I was excited to see this new sub shop open in my town of Shelbyville. I have eaten here several times, usually always get the Gargantuan without onions, and so far its always been made correctly and quickly, both dining inside and using drive thru window. The window order takers are fun and friendly. The subs are a bit pricey but taste great and are good sized. I deducted a star due to being told that Jimmy John's freaky fast delivery, does not include my house in town. This was very saddening and confusing to me as I live within a couple street of the downtown circle near CVS, and EVERY pizza and other food / restaurant delivery place in town brings food to my house all the time. Even ordering over $20 and offering a $5 tip couldn't get them to deliver to me. Jimmy John's employee told me they do not delivery past approx 1 mile from the store. No wonder they're freaky fast with delivery, they refuse to go over 1 mile from the store, geesh, and Poof, there went all my excitement about having Jimmy John's in my town, as my town is too small for a 2nd franchise to open to cover the other 1 mile radius in town. Hard to believe they wont delivery to all the customers houses and businesses in town, O' well, 25 other places in town will deliver and get the business then. I have been going to this store for the last year (since March 2016) and my evaluation is consistent with the other reviews...they have steadily improved since first opening. I don't have any complaints. If you're ok with no hot subs then I think you'll be pleased. I have tried all 3 of their "sandwich covers" their signature homemade French bread (baked fresh), the thick sliced 7-grain bread and the lettuce wrap. Love em' all. Very fresh ingredient's make for a flavorful samich. The only thing that I don't care for is their bacon (very whimpy) but in all fairness I am kind of a bacon snob. I am used to meaty smoked varieties, thick cut, and even making my own from fresh pork belly. So I am pretty difficult to please in that department. Anywho, I am very pleased with this location. The inside & outside is kept up nicely, their employees are friendly and have not messed up any orders. I now almost exclusively use their App to put my orders in & pay. They have one of the best food ordering Apps I have used so far. It allows for customization of the order anyway you would want. You can even put the persons name for the sandwich/item and they will label it that way. As far as personal preference, I highly recommend any of the Italian sub selections (Vito and Italian Night Club) and the Housemade Tuna is VERY good on any of the 3 sandwich coverings. The woman who answered the phone was slurring her words and was so heavily intoxicated and confused, she asked my name multiple times and was incapable of even getting my address, let alone my order. I visited this location and dined in on June 18. The service was fast, friendly, and the employees created a fun environment. It's refreshing to see great customer service and interaction with the customers when so many times nowadays that is not the case. Cleanliness was top-notch as well. Recently we decided to try some of Jimmy's John's sandwiches since we have one here in town. Once you have accepted the fact that they only make cold sandwiches, then all is good. Each time I have gone into the store, they greet you with a hello and a friendly welcome. Employees are very helpful and don't rush you when you are trying to decide what to order. The interior is bright and always very clean! Their sandwiches are always fresh and you can substitute the French bread for a whole grain bread or lettuce wrap. My latest sandwich was the Totally Tuna #3, which has fresh house made tuna, mixed with celery, onions, and their tasty sauce, sliced cucumbers, lettuce and Roma tomatoes. It really does Rock! I elected to have it served on the 7-grain bread (which I thoroughly enjoyed). My husband chose the #9 - Italian Night club & shared it with me...YUM! If you are looking for a nice fresh sandwich, fast & friendly service, I would definitely give this Jimmy John's a try. The past 6 times i have gone to this location they have messed up my sandwich. I repeat what I would like on my sandwich multiple times and they continually don't do it. I don't know what the issue is but from now on I will not eat from this location until they do better read more

Called to have an order delivered that took 40 minutes. Called the male manager back at the Shelbyville Indiana location told me the only thing he could do was come get my food back from me and bring me my money. He acted like it was MY fault that they took 40 minutes because i ordered when they were busy. Literally the worst customer service I have ever had. read more

We love JJ's. We were so excited when they opened a store in Shelbyville. When they say 'freaky fast' they aren't joking. Last week we went through the drive thru and it was the quickest drive thru ever and my order was correct (which rarely happens at other places). I also took box lunches to my daughter's soccer team.
