On our way back home we stopped at this Cracker Barrel location. We only had to wait about 15 minutes. Sunday brunch its always busy anywhere you go. So 15 minutes was not bad at all. Our server Michelle was outstanding. She was friendly and very polite. Our order came out perfect. We special order hashbrowns plain extra crispy and they were as we ordered! Food was delicious. This location was updated and looked clean and felt the dining more open and bright. Highly recommended this location.

I genuinely think the breakfast at Cracker Barrel is hard to beat. I have been coming since I was a baby, but it's never disappointed. This particular location is the one I've been coming to the most since I moved to Indianapolis a few years ago. On this particular visit, I didn't want too much. I got a side of hashbrown casserole and a side of sugar-glazed ham. I was worried that this wouldn't be enough food, but I was blown away by the portion sizes of each. I went with 5 other people, so it did take a while for our party of 6 to receive our food after ordering, but it was worth the wait. A very well-known fact about me is that I love hot sauce. Cracker Barrel has Tabasco hot sauce which is perfect for the hashbrown casserole and ham combination. It adds a perfect spicy and vinegary taste to the sweet and savory meal I ordered. I liked cutting off a piece of ham and eating it with a forkful of hashbrown casserole. The BEST part of the meal was when my fiance decided he was full before he ate his last pancake. I had a sliver of it, and it was SO good! The sweetness from the syrup and the saltiness from my ham was the perfect combination. Next time, I would get pancakes as well so that I can have that combination. You have to appreciate the vibes of a Cracker Barrel. The "old-timey" posters and advertisements are fun to look at.

Small‑town diner vibes with a fun twist: the Giant Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich. We were seated…read morequickly, our order was taken right away, and the food came out fast. The menu has plenty of options, but we had to go for their signature tenderloin. We were excited to dig in. They offered an extra bun plus lettuce and tomato for an additional charge. If you're planning to split the sandwich, I highly recommend getting that second bun -- we were able to make two full sandwiches out of it. Just note that fries aren't included; they're an extra charge as well. We ordered some, but they arrived lukewarm, which was disappointing. The sandwich itself was tasty, though definitely heavier on breading than meat. Overall, it was a good experience and worth trying once, but we probably wouldn't return unless we happened to be passing through Edinburgh again.

It was so flat, barely any meat under the breading. I was thinking it would be a little thicker, nope. I split this with my other half. Just a side note which was not a big deal to me, good business process for them. To get another bun and the side fixings like lettuce, tomato, pickle, and onion was an extra charge. We got fries they were warm, not hot. It was about 45 minutes before closing. They close early on Sunday it was 2pm. I think the fries were left over and under a heat lamp. I heard later from friends done places have thicker cuts of pork tenderloin. Needless to say, I will not be back. The place was very clean hence only 1 other couple was there. The staff was very nice. You can tell it's a small town Diner. They were out of onion rings, and mozzarella sticks.

My husband and I ate here for the first time today and we are SO UPSET! Not at the restaurant, meal…read moreor service but at ourselves for waiting so lonnnnggggg to try this delicious gem! We had the crab cakes and crab & artichoke dip for apps and our lunch entrees were the fried catfish sandwich with fries and the filet with mashed potatoes and collard greens. For bevvies, we tried their rosé and red zeppelin English ale. All of it, every bit and bite, was 10/10. Food breakdown: - Crab cakes: succulent lump crap meat within a lightly battered and flash fried coating. They come on a bed of arugula with a light dressing and dipping sauce for the cakes. Super yummy! - Crab & artichoke dip: ooey gooey deliciousness, perfect balance of cheese sauce too. You don't have to search for the crab or artichokes. And the fried naan chips were sliced long and thin, and could've been called naan fries actually. Perfect companion for the dip. - Fried catfish sammich: the piece of fish was huge and the batter was good. It came on Texas toast with fixins and tartar sauce. Won't lie, the only thing I wanted for was some hot sauce. That's a me problem... just gotta have hot sauce when I eat fried fish but I didn't ask for any while I was there (they may offer it) and still very much enjoyed the sandwich. - Filet: it was great... hubby got it medium and it arrived perfectly cooked. The Demi glaze sauce was so good and so were the sides. Their collard greens are seasoned up! I said does my auntie work here?! This cuisine is so comfortingly southern and didn't disappoint. Shoutout to our friendly and helpful server, Dan... our food and drinks came out quickly and so did our to-go box. His service was truly top notch. We have been living in Carmel for 5 years and this is one of the best restaurants here. If you're on the fence about trying this place, jump off and make a reservation. You won't regret it.

*2.25/5* Unwhelming. - Service was fine to average…read more - Good ambiance outside. - The red wine sangria wasn't worth the price for the pitcher; house red with maybe 5 slices of assorted fruits. - The crab and artichoke dip tasted good. The pimento cheese dip was fine; closer to a nacho cheese dip. Both dips came with too few naan dippers to finish the dip (they charged extra for extra naan to finish the dip). - The cajun pasta was fine. Pasta was cooked well. I got it with chicken, which tasted good. The sauce was fine. - The hot honey chicken tenders were crispy, but lacked flavor. - The CBR chicken sandwich was good. Crispy and good size. - Do not order the side mac n cheese. $6 for some Stouffer's mac n cheese topped with the pimento cheese dip (that's basically nacho cheese dip). Overall, if someone asked to meet here for a meal I would request another restaurant but I'd still eat here if they insisted.

Truly, Hobnob Corner has a great wine list. This is the restaurant to visit in downtown Nashville…read moreif you want a nice glass of wine (or two, I don't judge) with your lunch, or perhaps even your breakfast (again, not judging). I couldn't help myself when I saw that they were featuring two special wines, and one of them was a Sauvignon Blanc called Sincerite. I had never tasted this particular wine, but it sounded special! And sincere! It was good, but maybe a little too sweet for my palate. Isn't that sometimes the way with those earnest wines? I visited for lunch when I just wanted a little something. So I got the soup of the day -- a bean and beef number in a tomatoey broth. It came with a fennel-seed-studded roll. The soup was amazing and tasted like something a mom or dad or grandma or grandpa would make: just kind of simple and hearty and good. I also got the Hobnob Green Salad, which is mesclun topped with shredded cheese, mushrooms, cubes of turkey and croutons. I'm not a big fan of raw mushroom slices in general, and particularly on a salad, so I picked off the mushrooms like a petulant child and ate the rest of the salad. My soup and salad went really well with my cold glass of Sauv Blanc. Hobnob Corner was very busy when I visited! Nashville is a place that gets lots of visitors, and this restaurant, which is located on the corner of a busy intersection in downtown Nashville, is no exception. But I was able to get a table right away, even though I was a party of one. There is no bar here, by the way. Even though they were busy, the service was quick and friendly. They also have a pastry selection in a display case in the front of the restaurant. You can pop in and grab a cookie or pastry, if you want.

Our whole family came along, and we were excited to try it out. I ordered the tenderloin sandwich, and while it wasn't bad, it didn't really stand out either -- just OK. That seemed to be the theme across the table. Nothing was terrible, but nothing wowed us either. It's a nice spot for a sit-down meal if you're in the area, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Solidly average.
