not impressed whatsoever. food took forever, multiple orders came out before my husband & i's. at the end of our meal we decided we wanted to take half our sandwiches home, the paper we had were soggy and nasty from the poorly made sandwiches so my husband asked for new paper and the girl with long brown hair pulled back into a low pony tail said that we could've used the paper that was in our baskets. she didn't have a name tag or else i'd name her. very rude & unprofessional. do better. read more

This Penn Station sub location was next to a gas station. There was plenty of parking but we came after 2pm on a Sunday. The store looked clean and the staff here were all nice. I ordered a 12 inch Pizza sub ($8.99), small fries ($1.89), and a medium soft drink ($1.79) which came out to $13.68 total. It took a long time before my food came out and my two coworkers got their food way before me. I was the last to order but apparently they forgot about my order. They realized I was waiting so they started to make my sub and gave me a free chocolate chunk cookie for making me wait that long. We took our food back to the hotel and the sub was pretty messy at that point. The Pizza sub was pretty greasy and only but so good. I was full after I finished the 12 inch Pizza sub and still managed to finish the small fries. The fries were not bad but wasn't anything special. If you don't mind a greasy and oily sub, then I recommend the Pizza sub. On my second visit, I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak but ended up with an Italian sub. A little mess up on their part but that sub was still good. It was just extremely messy even more than the Pizza sub. Overall, this was a good place to buy a sub so check it out if you're in the area or passing through. read more

Of all the chain type sub shops available, Penn Station is my favorite. This location is clean, friendly, and they will make your sub to your liking! My favorite is the Italian sub, which I rarely steer from (sorry, I can't help myself). I have regularly used this location for catering parties at work and have always been pleased with the food and service. They usually give extra condiments on the side and if they do make a mistake, they are quick to fix it, even if it requires a special trip. When Tim was managing the local business, he would always throw something free in like a gallon of tea or some chocolate chunk cookies. On one occasion, I placed a phone in order and when I got there to pick it up and check out, the credit card machine was not working as it should. The clerk tried a couple times to no avail and without hesitation, said "this one's on us". I said that's a $60 order, that's not necessary and he promptly said no, we don't want to hold our customers up. WOW, that is great customer service. Note that he did not even have to call a manager, but was able to make that decision himself! Needless to say, I was impressed and will continue to give them my business. You will find many tasty selections of subs, hot or cold on their menu. I also love their fresh-cut fries if I'm eating there, but don't recommend for carry out as they tend to get a little soggy. This is one of my usual stops when traveling between Indy and Cinci. I frequently work in Cinci and I have developed the habit of stopping here for dinner on my way home. This location is very clean and the food has always been excellent. I love the grilled veggie topped with the always-fresh Roma tomatoes, lettuce, red onions and peppers. Today I actually thought I would try something different so I walked into the Fazoli's next door, stood in line looking at the menu then decided what I really wanted was Penn Station. So I left Fazoli's, walked into Penn Station and ordered my grilled veggie. I always order a cookie here. The food was ready when I got there to pick it up which was good as I was taking it with me on a flight. It was hot as well. I did have to ask for a bag but that wasn't my biggest issue. The chunks and I mean chunks of chicken were difficult to chew on the sandwich. It had not been chopped at all. This has happened the last few times I pick up from this location. There were no mushrooms and I had asked for extra mushrooms and extra onions. There was barely any ingredients in this sandwich. Had I had more time I would have taken a photo. Not acceptable for $15+ !! Just a sandwich, no drink and no fries, etc. Ridiculous ! The flavor was good but it was unpleasant overall with huge chunks of chicken falling out. read more

I love Penn Station! they have a lot of different choices for sandwiches or you can build your own. Personally, my favorite is the Club sandwich. The flavors all mend together very well & it's delicious! I like how they have different sizes so if I'm hungrier than normal, which happens a lot, I order the 8' so it's slightly more than your average sub. Their fries are also amazing! ours were fresh & hot right when we got them :) the prices aren't bad, the average price for any fast food places nowadays. Wocka Flocka. This has to of been THE WORST Penn Station visit ever. I was expecting to go in, order, pay, sit down, eat, and leave. BUT OH NO!!! I stood at the register FOR 10 MINUTES!! Finally someone was able to take my order after a line had formed out the door. At this point I really didn't care that I had to wait awhile, but bad things just kept piling up. After I ordered I went to the second station where they take your pay. The computer wasn't working properly. Again, this really didn't bother me but the guy working the computer was YELLING at it and threatening to throw it. (Calmmm down buddy) Eventually the computer managed to turn on and run. ( I was shocked ) The cashier DIDN'T READ MY ORDER BACK, charged me for fries I DIDN'T ORDER, and didn't give me a receipt. Now I was a little ticked. (Like realllly?!?!) I had two friends there with me and there orders were messed up too. One of them ordered a large fry but was given the same amount of fries as my other friend who ordered a small fry. Two other customers made complaints about their meals being messed up and the bathrooms being absolutely disgusting. There was 1...ONE vinegar bottle for the entire restaurant. Please understand this issue has nothing to do with COVID. They had plenty of workers and were not too busy. So, I placed my order online and paid online. In my fantasy, I would run in, grab my PREPARED food, pour my drink, and get back home with time to spare on my 30 minute lunch break. Of course, that's not how it played out in real life. so, I went in at the time they said it would be ready and gave them my name. They said, it will be ready in 10 minutes.... Apparently, my face showed my goosed look, , so they clarified, we have to start your order, it will be 10 minutes. You could have knocked me over with a feather, I thought ordering online meant they prepared it while I was on my way to get it. So, I did show my annoyance, but, they did give me my cup to have my drink while I waited, but only after I asked for it. Spoiler alert, I did not end up waiting 10 minutes, it was 20. Meanwhile, getting angrier by the minute watching a steady stream of people come in, order, and get their food before me. This is not a COVID issue, it's a management , or lack thereof issue. It is UNACCEPTABLE to make somebody wait 40 minutes for a sandwich and some cold fries, After they ordered ahead of time. I did not want to be labeled a KAREN, so, I left graciously.
