I'm not normally compelled to write reviews of fast casual chains, but Jimmy John's has come through for me many times. To begin, Solon has a lack of options for fast casual as it is. Everyone flocks to Chipotle, yet the line is often out the door and around the corner... and alas, Jimmy John's is literally across the street. There's never a wait. Sometimes I just cannot handle going into the surrounding establishments with insane lines. And there, across the street, is Jimmy John's, waiting for me. They make your sandwich incredibly fast. Sure, my order has been wrong here a few times, but usually, its correct. This location makes the quality, consistent sandwiches one comes to expect from a Jimmy John's. Its super reliable. Literally, from the time you walk in, until the time you leave with your orders, is maybe under 5 minutes. They don't deliver, but then again, they are a smaller establishment (only a few tables in the shop). Also, I really love that you can substitute the bread on the sandwiches with a salad wrap (the "unwhich"). Alright, Jimmy John's, you fly under the radar but continue to suck me in, especially when my anxiety about lines kicks in. read more

It took 45 minutes (1 hr from when order was placed) for my order to arrive. In the same city. On the same street.

Last time I ordered, it took almost an hour. I wrote a complaint on their website and they sent me a $10 gift card. I decided to try them one more time. Took over an hour this time. I called to complain and was told that my order was delivered at 11:56. I ordered at 11:43 and I know that it was not here that early, as I went to our front desk at 12:40 and it was not there. It was delivered at about 12:45. I called store back and told manager that the driver must have driven around for 45 minutes with my food. He did not care. This location has poor customer service, slow delivery and poor food consistency. Good bye, Jimmy Johns. I won't be back. read more

First time at a Jimmy Johns, so I wasn't familiar with their menu. I told the girl at the counter that and she just stared at me and said nothing. Ok, I said, I will look at the menu. Who do I give my order to? No answer. A second person comes out and again says nothing to me. I should have just walked out. I ordered a tuna sandwich but no one asked my what I wanted on it. Believe me when I tell you not one word was spoken to me while I was there. The people working there are arrogant and rude. I wish I had known there was a Chipotle there. Super average sub, but cheap and tastes good enough. Really quick service, and delivery is a huge plus. The only unfortunate thing is that the delivery range is pretty small, but if you're nearby, you'll have your sub in less than ten minutes. I recommend the #1, it's what I always get! read more

We went for the first time and were extremely pleased. The 2 gentlemen employees were very pleasant and friendly. Our sandwiches were ready freaky fast and we took them home and enjoyed every bite! We will return soon! read more

You know, if I am going to walk in and spend my hard-earned money on a sandwich so that YOU get a paycheck, then I'd appreciate it if YOU at least ACT like you half-way appreciate me. Perhaps even smile as I hand you over the cash. Here's a thought, take out your EAR BUDS while I order. Here's one more, if it's $7.04 and your drawer is out of change and I give you a $20, just hand me back $13 and forget about the 4 pennies instead of telling the sandwich-maker to stop what he's doing and go to the back to get you two rolls of pennies while I wait. This was on Friday night, Jan. 24th, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The girl had a horrible attitude. Her facial expression and body language gave a strong message to me and the guys in line behind me that there was no human way for her to possibly care less. This place was a complete dissapointment. Their bread was hard. There is nothing special about their sandwiches. Most of their sandwiches could easily be made at home. It seems like a sandwich someone would pack their child for lunch. Subway offers better sandwiches than this place. I will never recommend it to anyone else. read more

"Freaky Fast" my ***!!! 45 minutes after ordering online, the delivery shows up when my lunch break is over. Second time in as many weeks. I could have walked there and back before the delivery was made. No more JJ for us. read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Placed a lunch order for a work meeting well in advance of the time it was needed and when the order arrived, it was not complete. It took 4 calls to the balance of the order delivered. I was told more then once the sandwich was on it's way & after almost 45 minutes I asked to speak to a manager at which time I asked for a credit. He asked me why I thought I should have one and then said no, it wasn't their fault the order wasn't complete and they can't control their drivers. I spoke to the corporate office customer service and a general manager who lead me to believe it this would be taken care of. Lot's of emails, even a phone message I was late in returning, but never the credit they promised. On top of that the order was not all correct and the food was mediocre. I would totally stay away from this place. I am disappointed not only in the Solon location, but their customer service and the way this has been handled at a corporate level.
