Stopped by for dinner. The place was quiet and clean. Sadly I didn't have my lense or spectacles so I couldn't see th le menu up above. The staff was very kind and handed me a paper menu and was patiently waiting for me to decide. She then proceeded to answer my question about one of the menu and helped me chose my dinner, I ended up with the chicken ceasar wrap and it was good. The wrap was prepared very well and tightly rolled, nothing was falling or come undone with each bite. I did enjoy it. Thank you for the recommendation. I clearly stated my order but they had a new guy working the register and the line cooks were only half listening. When I asked about the specifications of my food they got flustered bc they didn't make it right. A lot of big sighs and rolling eyes. I usually never go out of my way to write a comment. I came in and greeted the lady's t the register with a "hello how are you", didn't get a response just a blank face, after a few awkward seconds I said "hello" again, she proceeded to give me a pretty ugly look with a "hello?" like I was dumb. Rudest employees i've ever encountered. Right when we walked in we were greeted with "EXTRA TIP?" and that's the only greeting we've gotten at this location, normally you don't even get acknowledged. Usually place an order through the app for convenience and avoid covid touching. This place doesn't appear to start creating the order until you walk in and ask for your order. On several occasions I have ordered, waited maybe 10 mins in the car outside, walked in for my order and then an informed they just now received my order... After I drank half of my drink I noticed there was a long hair in it which freaking disgusting! Ordered chips and received them. Asked them to cut sandwiches in half and they weren't. No sandwiches were labeled so we had to open each one to figure out which one belonged to who. Drink were also not labeled so we had to taste test each one which I mean during these times with the virus is just unacceptable. Truly disappointed with this location. I have ordered from their location on several occasions and always have had the worst experience. First time they didn't even call me to tel me hey couldn't find my address. They always deliver to our specific location but it seems every time I call they can never find it. Today I almost got in a wreck due to one of their HORRIBLE drivers. This is not the first time this happens. They always rush in front of traffic complete disregard of other drivers. I called and spoke to GM Sarah. She didn't care what happened. Placed me on hold. Dropped call. Called back to be told she's too busy. Was given a wrong corporate number. This place is terrible. I order from the Sawdust store frequently and have deliveries to my office. Freaky Fast deliveries is absolutely the case! Sandwiches are consistently great and exactly what we order. Have we had an error in our order? Yes, but very rare and not enough to downgrade the rating. Has it been not Freaky Fast? Yes, but again rarely and not enough to downgrade the rating. Staff is always cordial and helpful. I have picked up orders on occasion and have had good service. They seem to have procedures down very well to have the fast service. It's a sandwich shop with cold sandwiches only. Super fast inside the store and for delivery. My order has been correct every time with the exception that sometimes they forget to cut it in half. But I'm not going to dock them any points based on that. I have tried the pork sandwich, the Italian night club and the tuna. I've enjoyed each one and will continue ordering from them. The pickles and chips are awesome too. Pickles are huge and the chips are kettle cooked with a good amount of seasoning on them. Oh I also like to add the peppers to my sandwiches. Very flavorful and not overly spicy. I would recommend the white bread over wheat. The last time I got the wheat it completely fell apart on me. The bread is fresh and yummy for both styles. They also offer your sandwich in just lettuce if that's your style. So if your in the mood for a good cold sandwich give then a try. At least they will only waste a short amount of your time cause they are "so freakin fast" I docked them a point because sometimes I do wish they served hot sandwiches too. read more

Ate Sunday lunch here with my wife. It was my 1st visit, based on my wife's recommendation. NOT disappointed! Got the large Italian sandwich (#9), no changes. It was GOOD! I love the bread! It's flavorful and has wonderful texture--soft and fresh inside while the crust is perfectly chewy. Good to the last bite! I ate all of mine but she took half of her "Pepe" home. It is surprising that three stars is better than average for this location which is only 2-1/2 stars. The speed of service was great but the tuna sandwich was totally bland and the tomatoes definitely seemed like warehouse storage tomatoes. I would have to say that Subway wins the tuna sandwich battle between the two chains at a lower overall price point. read more

I have been here many times and had a good experience but NOT today. Kaitlyn who took my order was nice and friendly as she greeted me when I walked in and when she took my order; very nice great job. The guy that made my sandwich (ticket #40 on 1/10/207 at 12:01pm, Tkr 241) was so rude and unprofessional I don't think I will ever go back. When my order was ready (quickly as usual) I asked for it to go. He looked at me like I had 3 heads and said "there are the bags and napkins" and stepped back with a "F"you look on his face, like how dare I ask him to put it in a bag. I don't think I am above putting my own sandwich in a bag but I did not think I should reach over the counter and start grabbing things either, besides I have always received my order in a bag even when I dine in so why the attitude. I don't know what his deal was and it clearly had nothing to do with me but his attitude was so bad I told him "it should not be that hard to just be polite".. he of course just smiled and told me to have a great day as I got my own bag and napkins and walked out. I find my first visit to a JJ's to be lack luster at best. The order taker seemed to be new yet courteous, yet the sandwich maker I found to be somewhat rood. I've never experienced a sub type shop that did not let you choose your toppings. You are literally stuck with what you get. As for the sandwich itself... I find it is small in over all size compared to their competition and higher in price. The meat I chose for the sandwich was of good quality and taste yet I wish that I would have had at least a smidgen of control over ingredients. Some may enjoy this restaurant but for me... Be careful: if you live 1.3 miles away like I do, a 4 minute drive according to GPS, you are probably outside of their delivery zone. That must be the answer as to why their delivery is considered "freaky fast"...they only deliver in a radius of 10 feet outside the store. Super useful. read more

Waited another 35min called 2nd time .. they asked our name and told use the person that took our order wasn't authorized to run credit card therefor the order didn't get added and didn't realize that until we called the first time!! Counter help is rude - called in a large order for work and when I got there I was told they didn't have an order for me - That I probably called the wrong location. Had our receptionist call Research location - no order - then she called the Sawdust location and YEP! My order was ready. When I went back they acted like it was MY fault.
