So I placed my order on lunch drop, and unfortunately there were multiple mistakes made. I add photos. But I wanted no onion, vinegar, olive oil oregano, so on so forth. Yet all of those things were added. Pretty much just wanted a turkey sub with meat cheese mustard mayo and tomato/lettuce. This is my first visit ever to a Jersey Mike's. I did a quick scan on Yelp and decided I needed to give them a try. There are definite pros and cons. Please allow me to explain. Pros: My initial reaction upon walking in was how good the food smelled. Simply put, it smelled like a deli where things are made fresh. As a matter of fact, an employee was using the meat slicer and was cutting fresh slices of meat for the orders. One of the employees stated they were short-staffed and the line was moving slower than it should. He comped our drinks to make up for it. Nice move on his part. He said they had called someone to come in early and low and behold, they walked in the door a few minutes later. The pace of the line immediately sped up with the addition of one person. As far as the food goes, I ordered Jersey Mike's Famous Philly (as stated on the board). It was served fresh and piping hot. The cheese was fully melted into the meat and the overall taste was really good. Another review I read stated they thought the Philly was a little on the salty side and I concur with that statement. It was a little salty. Keep in mind, I watch my sodium intake so things that are salty to me may not be salty to someone else. For me, it was a little on the salty side but not overbearing. The freshness and temp were spot on. I enjoyed the sub. It was one of the better Philly's I've had at a chain sub shop. Cons: I have not had a soda of any kind in a few years. With that being the case, this is Texas and Texans like Coke products. Jersey Mike's only has Pepsi products. I fully understand that Pepsi is the product of choice when you are in Jersey but this ain't Jersey. You should have Coke. Since I don't drink any of them anymore, it doesn't affect me directly but I know plenty of Texans who this would rub the wrong way. I'll stick to my tea. Bottom line - A good first impression. Fresh food served hot. Ever so slightly too salty. Good tea. No Coke. All in all, I left happy. I'll be back to eat here again. Bon appétit. read more

This was my first time going to Jersey Mike's sub ever! I can honestly say I will be returning very soon. I was extremely impressed with the freshness, taste and quality of the food. So to the food. I ordered the Chipotle Philly Cheese Sandwich while my girlfriend ordered the original Jersey Mike's Philly Cheese sandwich. Both were shared with each other for a better and more thorough reviews. I personally liked both sandwiches but for different reasons. Let me explain. The Chipotle sandwich was good tasting as long as you 1) Like the taste of Chipotle 2) Don't mind not tasting the flavor of the meat as much and 3) Dont mind your hands getting a little messy. Regardless of my precious points , the sandwich was piping hot when I opened the wrapper. Meat quantity was above average. The bread that they used was well seasoned but not over powering. It's freshness and balance of firmness and still yet soft is what stood out to me. This with the grilled onions and grilled peppers and the moistness of the meat brought it all together. Now, the Philly Cheese sandwich was all those things mentioned above minus the Chipotle. For me, I think if your feeling more adventurous go for the Chipotle Philly, however, if your feeling more traditional Philly get that. Either way, you won't regret it. We ordered the regular size sandwich (~6inches) and was plenty full. The chips and drink were also ordered but will not be reviewed here ;) The Resturant had plenty of seating during dinner time. Quickly though the line got extremely long and. A few larger orders made the wait time more. I of course was not affected by this as I just ate my sandwich and watched. The establishment has plenty of televisions and they do have tables or table booths style. It was definitely clean and the restrooms were no different . They take pride here at this Woodlands location. I only am giving 4 stars because I want to return and try a few more food choices and also taste consistency. My girlfriend liked both sandwiches and favored the Original Philly cheesesteak a little more than the Chipotle Philly Cheesesteak. Jersey Mike's started originally in Pt. Pleasant, NJ where I have vacationed for many years. For some reason the original store's subs taste 5 star. I know they use premium meats. This JM's taste to the meat had a slightly lower quality to me. Have not had a JM since last fall in Pt. Pleasant so maybe the entire franchise has lowered the quality. Idk? The bread is made fresh daily and is very good with a perfect exterior crunch and flavorful soft inside. Not much meat was in our Italian subs but with their spices and other ingredients it was a pretty good sub. Definitely more true Italian flavors than Subway IMO! I went here on a Sunday at noon and I don't know why fast food places can't keep tables clean. It's not appetizing for a customer to clean off a tabletop before sitting down to eat. The sandwiches are good BUT at this location the service is AWFUL. The staff is extremely SLOW and disorganized. Nobody seems to know what their jobs are so everyone is doing a little to nothing of something! However, why I am giving it only one star is because of cleanliness. One girl ran around from front to back to iPads to cash register stocking chips with the SAME DIRTY GLOVES she was going to use to finish my sandwich. I arrived today for lunch as usual and was greeted with a smile and a hello. I could immediately tell there was something wrong. The entire crew, or most of it was absent. Amanda was working the entire store all by herself as well as training a brand new employee. What a Task !! The line was long and everyone looked hungry. Amanda handled the crowd with ease, she had everyone laughing as she was creating delicious Jersey Mike's sandwiches for everyone. My only complaint is if you order it "Mike's Way" make sure you tell them light oil and vinegar because if you don't your sandwich will be soggy. Went to the store today for a sub. Wearing a mask and trying to stay healthy and defeat this scourge. I go to checkout and the card machine is sitting on a table exposed and left for patrons to operate rather than the service personnel wearing gloves who should be doing it. After using the keypad for phone number, absurd tip request option for fast food counter ordering and sundry command s I asked where the hand sanitizer is ? I mean all 6 people in there had just used the same pad with their bare hands and staff didn't wipe it down !!! I was told I could use the bathroom ? Really ? I placed an online order for pickup at 7:30pm, time was 20 minutes for it to be ready, I live 13 miles away, arrived on time, one other customer in store placing an order. My order not on table like the other times, I ask the clerk, he checks the lone slip over grill and says, I'll get started on it???? I look and there is no other orders on the grill and they are not working on any cold sandwiches and no other orders on the tables???
