They call a lettuce wrap an "un-Wich". This is their name for it and what was ordered. However once we got home it was discovered that they gave us a regular wrap. The late night life saver during college. I actually used to hate Jimmy Johns but now I have a love affair with it. I'm gonna blame that on the bread, because in all honesty: it is a basic sandwich shop that also happens to have some very good pickles. I usually get the Pepe and add/take away to my own liking. I find that the mayonnaise is always over generous, and I just can't do that. So I just minus that off. But yeah, it's a nice and quick place to grab a sandwich with some good bread. read more

Three guys working the line. One courteous and one, maybe the manager on duty, rather snappy with an attitude that reeks, " I could care less about your patronage." The wraps were okay, nothing special, but pricey at $9.00 each. Place is neat and clean but my foremost impression is that the food is overpriced and the near arrogant indifference of the lead preparer. Will not trouble Jimmy John's with repeat business. I love Jimmy John's sandwiches. I almost always order through their app because I supposedly get free stuff. I frequently order for my office when my team has weekend duty. I may have 10 sandwiches ordered, but the app gives me 1 measly credit whether I order 1 sandwich or 10. I tried ordering 10 times. Still got one credit. I am not depending on free stuff, but here is the kicker. The last 5 times I have ordered, usually for delivery, my order gets screwed up... usually no mustard when I order mustard. How hard is that? No way to give feedback on the app. I could call the store, but how far will that get me? Ask them to deliver my mustard when I'm hungry and ready to eat. I have stopped giving a tip with my order as it makes no difference in service. I hate to say, but I am done with JJ. Too many other decent sandwich shops in town. read more

Tried to order with a coupon for "one free sub", chips and drink. After I placed my order I was told "that coupon" was limited to certain subs. No restriction on the coupon. Cashier asked if I wanted cheese and I said yes...then told cheese was extra charge. Will not return. Employees don't need to be so rude. read more

I have been a long time customer, usually ordering Jimmy Johns 2-3 times every week. However, I can no longer support them as I am disgusted with the multiple racist incidents that occurred in their establishment. Everyone should feel safe and welcomed, regardless of their skin color. Jimmy Johns need to take proactive efforts against racism and promote inclusivity. The owner should make a strong public statement supporting equity, commit to ongoing diversity training for all their employees, and reprimand all those involved in discriminatory acts. Their food is okay, fast delivery, but parts of the order is often missing. *UPDATE: A step in the right direction: Jimmy Johns owners say have implemented diversity training and fired those involved. I was visiting family in Valdosta, and my family decided we were hungry at 9pm. My father in law said lets order Jimmy Johns. He said the delivered. We called to find out we were out of the delivery area. Not a problem..... Who expects a sandwich shop to deliver. We drove to the shop and ordered 4 sandwiches. They were ready very quick. Staff was very friendly. Guy taking orders was new, but the guys making sandwiches were right there talking him through taking the order. The food was outstanding. Bread was fresh and soft, with great flavor and texture. The meat tasted so good. All was sliced so thin, but there were very generous portions. I'm in town for only 4 more days and I will be going back at least once more this trip. read more

The chips are the ONLY reason this place even got a rating. So my friend and I went in to order lunch, we'd never been to JJ before and anted to try something new. Say the menu was very limited, ok not a problem. Decided on our sandwiches. I ordered first and ask them to take off something and was promptly told that I couldn't change anything on the sandwiches. And I wasn't told in a friendly way either. So my friend and I looked at each other shrugged and decided to go with the flow. Got to the register and ask for the combo and the cashier says you can only get a canned soda because the fountain machine is out of order. I ask is there a price difference since the can is only 12 of and the drink cup is 16. She says no. I said ok, do you get two. She says no. (And mind you she has an attitude) so my friend and I grab our sodas and subs and sit down. I get up to go wash my hands and the bathrooms are both out of order!! What kind of busted down dump of a location is this???? So I pull out the instant sanitizer and then get to the sandwich. And I'm sorry but I don't care how good the bread is, no one eats a sandwich for bread. I've had better ingredients at Publix for the same price. So we finished up as much as we could stomach and as we were getting up to leave we notice that the employees take down the out of order sign on the drink machine AND the bathrooms. Soooooooo, all of a sudden everything is working again. Nah, that's it. I'm done. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. The expression stops there, so here I sit, with egg on my face for having been the fool who, apparently, went where no other fool has yet gone. Twice previously, when I've eaten here, they have disregarded a request of NO SPROUTS on my sandwich. Tonight, again, was no different. I asked twice for them to hold the sprouts. Twice, this was confirmed. The word "allergy" entered this conversation as well. My previous incidents with this same request were acknowledged, too. So why were there sprouts on my sandwich... AGAIN? Offering me a free meal the next time I come in is making a huge assumption. There were three people in the store at the time, including myself. All three were well aware of this request, as the words "no sprouts" were said by every single person present for this transaction. You get the picture. Don't eat here if you have any dietary concerns that may require the reasonable request of making a sandwich without something normally found on it. I really didn't see the appeal. I tried this place because people just raved on and on about how good it was so I figured why not because I loves me a sammich. So I went in and noticed first off the selection is limited but ok I can live with that and after some time I made my selection I proceeded to place that order with specifics to what I wanted or didn't want and was told "That's not how it works.". I asked what they meant and was informed that how it's listed is how it's made and they don't "do special" orders. Still not sure how "No tomatoes" is a special order but ok then. So got the sandwich and after picking off the things I didn't want I was rewarded with something akin to the sandwiches you get out of a convenience store. It really was bad and for the price I could have went up the road to Firehouse or down the road to any of the other shops. Oh and let's not forget the attitude of the cashier because she had a force field of attitude all around her and seemed perturbed that she had to work that day. I really think the only appeal to this place is delivery and even then they're only delivering a very mediocre sandwich. Horrible service!! We entered the establishment and 2 young ladies were behind the counter. My family and I were never greeted and one of the ladies made a face that was pretty offensive, which made me feel as though she didn't want to serve us. Nevertheless, my husband proceeds to order as we are trying to figure out which sandwich we would like to order. My husband asked if they had a philly cheese steak and she replied no, that they didn't have any hot subs. Again, she wasn't very friendly at all, and even seemed to be irritated by the question. So my husband then asks me if I wanted to go with the turkey sandwich and I said yes. He wasn't sure what the difference was between the regular sub and the gigantic sub so he asked the young lady. My husband asked how long the gigantic sub was because we thought that based on the name it was a larger sub than the regular one. Again, appearing very agitated with all of the questions she answered in a very monotone voice and said they were the same size with no further explanation of the difference between the two subs. My husband then asked what was the difference and she told him that the gigantic sub just has more meat. After a very uncomfortable 5 minute exchange we decided we would go somewhere else to spend our money where we'd be greeting upon our entrance and made to feel a lot more welcoming. They should really train their employees on customer service and the art of being pleasant, as it could be the reason that this store could lose a lot more business often. Superb or subpar customer service can make or break an establishment. The only reason why I gave a one star rating is because I have to give at least one star otherwise Jimmy John would have received zero stars. read more

Very rude. I went in to ask for a sponsor for my Greek organization's philanthropy week. I asked the guy at the register who to talk to about sponsorships and a lady overheard (you could tell she was already annoyed) took my form and butted in and said "it's our lunch hour and we are too busy, ill give this to someone to look later." First of all, they were not that busy. Someone that works there told me to go at that time because it was a good time to go. There wasn't even a line. And second of all she didn't even give me time to tell her my contact info. She was extremely rude for no reason. It is very uncomfortable asking for sponsors but there is a right way to turn someone down. It makes me never want to eat at this Jimmy John's. They have lost me as a customer. read more

Just moved to Valdosta and was SO happy to see a JJ's here... Staff was extremely friendly and made my sandwich (Vito, add cucumbers, no tomatoes- highly recommend!) just like the store in my old hometown used to. Made me feel like home! :) read more
