Super awesome view, bar & they serve bar food. Shane & Angel were excellent bartenders. Shane was very informative & after my bf & I shared a Pesto Chicken Wrap for lunch he helped us find a finer dining spot in the area & offered a card for free rides! The Pesto Chicken Wrap was like a very healthy chicken salad wrap, didn't taste any Pesto so asked for Ranch. Ranch was ok. Maybe mayo or mustard inside would've added that flavor it was lacking. Overall, I recommend this place for drinks & snacks or lunch while awaiting your boat ride or time in the area. The view is so worth it. read more

Amazing ambiance! We came here for the view and we were not disappointed. Definitely a great place to watch the sunset as you sip on a cool cocktail. There is clock to count down the time of the sunset. In addition, the staff hand out free shots to everyone there. The drinks were pretty good. We liked the Cruzan breeze and the Tropical temptation. The Florida mule was a disappointment so we do not recommend that one. Our favorite was the frozen pina colada. The service was great. The staff were friendly and quick with our order. Must try the Giant Pretzel! Lastly, get there early to get good seats. We came there about 40 minutes before the sunset and all the good seats (seats at the edge) were taken! Beautiful location, nice bar staff and OK food. We had the nachos and it was more of a chili red bean nacho plate. It was OK, but nothing special. The view was awesome and offered shaded areas if needed. Wehad drinks waiting for the pirate boat and I would definitely go back. read more

My $12 cheese quesadilla was edible, but the accompanying salsa was sour and tasted old. Everything is plastic - cups, utensils, etc. Not exactly environmentally friendly. Great spot with a great view. Our first server was great but we ended up moving to a different spot. It was slightly crowded so it was a little tricky after we moved. My cousin did actually go to the bar for around after one of the servers passed us a few times at our new table. Our move may have contributed to some of the confusion though, who knows? My friend got the all American lemonade, however, and it was absolutely disgusting. She couldn't even finish it. It tasted like dirty sink water. My other friend got the cucumber splash drink but was disappointed to find out that it was sickenly sweet, as the description had made it seem like it would be a lighter option. To start, we had the iguana pretzel which was delicious. It was perfectly soft and came with delicious queso and honey mustard. For dinner, I ordered the chili nachos which were incredibly disappointing. The chips themselves tasted cheap and store bought. The kale and Brussels sprouts on top were really odd and did not go with the dish. My friend got the hamburger and was also very disappointed, comparing it to a "cafeteria hamburger." I had the rum runner which had 5 kinds of rum and you seriously only need one. They also give out free shots per person at sunset. This place has really good potential. It rubbed me the wrong way upon first arrival. After getting off the elevator there was a male employee there that was angry about something. He was cussing and complaining about the customers saying, "why come to the beach if you're afraid to get wet!" There was a slight sprinkle going on when we visited so we're thinking maybe people were complaining about the chairs being wet, we weren't sure. Anyway we go outside to the bar and the bartenders were nice. They have a menu section that serves Cruzan rum and the drinks were $7. Which really isn't a bad deal. We got drinks and proceeded to sit down in a tall table section that overlooked Clearwater. The view was great and the drink was "ok" but we didn't expect much for the price so we were fine with them. The biggest drawback of the whole place was that they allow smoking. There was two sets of customers that were chain smokers and once one set was finished another set would begin. It was entirely too much so it caused us to cut our stay short. read more

Best rooftop restaurant in Clearwater! The views are picturesque especially watching the sunset. Make sure to order the iguana pretzel as an appetizer since it's cute and delicious! The rest of the menu is good but we didn't come for the food, mainly the view. The servers were friendly and attentive. We didn't have to ask for anything since they were always around. Well... I've been coming to Clearwater Beach for 40 years, and I've been hearing nothing but rave reviews of this place since it opened. Needless to say I was incredibly disappointed. Views are amazing, and service is amazing!!! The food is bar food, lacking, and the drinks are drinks... nothing more than what you could get at any place in the beach. There is extremely limited seating and it's first come first served and the bar itself is in a horrible place because it takes up prime real estate in an already limited area. It's really Windy and if you've been out in the sun all day, be prepared to shiver. The people that are waiting for seats are like vultures giving those seated dirty looks trying to get your spot. The staff is fantastic but stressed, and I don't blame them. This is basically just a bar with a beautiful view and where the beautiful people gather to fawn on each other. 3 stars for the service and the view. The rest I could do without. read more

Probably the best view of Clearwater Beach in the entire area. This is a rooftop bar on the 10th floor of the Pier 60 hotel. You pay $20 for parking but your receipt will allow you $10 off on your tab at the bar. So you are basically paying $10 for parking. The drinks are decently priced and the rooftop cannot be beat. However it was a chilly day when I went and they would not turn on the heat lamps. Why bother even having heat lamps then? Overall I recommend for at least a drink or two because the view is unbeatable. read more

I'm a local from St Petersburg, I drive about 45 minutes atleast twice a month to come have lunch/dinner here at the crows nest. I've been coming for 3-4 years, they used to have a voucher system which I was happy to pay because I got my money's worth upstairs. Really bummed to say the food is always just ok upstairs but it was worth it for the view and the friendly staff. Few weeks ago they just let me park for free. Today I was greeted by a new face who said parking was 30$ and they would no longer be doing vouchers or free parking. They told me it was the manger who let me in for free last time but that wasn't true because I recognized the person attending the garage with them that let me go last time. Figured I'd save any locals the trouble of trying to grab lunch/dinner. We ended up going to a new place that doesn't charge for parking to eat a meal. read more

Any bar good enough for Hulk Hogan is good enough for me. As stated in other reviews, this place affords some of the best views in Clearwater Beach...spectacular, as some would say. At sunset, this place gets wild (and they give away free shots, have drink specials, etc.) Want a mellow sunset? Probably not going to find it here. The price was right. We had two local craft beers, three well-made mixed drinks, two Roy Rogers, two Shirley Temples and some nachos with (spicy ass) homemade guacamole and (less spicy ass) homemade pico de gallo salsa. 37 bucks. Not TOO bad for the beach. BTW, the guacamole, although not bad, was nothing overly special. BUT after 3 drinks, it became some of the best guac I've ever eaten! The bartender, Chelsea, is a PRO. It wasn't too busy...after all, most normal people don't go to a rooftop bar during a rainstorm at 1pm. Anyhow, it was empty except for us dumbasses from Ohio, and she had lots of time to talk and fill us in on the local buzz (where to eat, where NOT to eat, which attractions are cool and which are rip offs, etc). MORE IMPORTANTLY, she knew beer and was able to make my wife happy not once, but twice with strong drinks that were "fruity and sweet, but not too sweet." Great place.
