We had Brian as our server and he took care of us promptly! Typical bar type menu and we really did not feel like leaving and wanted to grab a bite on property...they had a pool table in there which was nice and a large bar area as well ....ordered Burgers and Fries...Burger came out and was fine, Fries were dead, told Brian and he quickly went to the back and had them make us got Fries, he was back quick were given two free desserts coupon at check in and used them for a Pineapple Upside Down Cake and Key Lime Pie, they were very different but good......very friendly and nice and he made the lunch enjoyable..Burgers were ok..doing a 5 star for Brian and his prompt service and taking great care of us..Thank you! read more

Come here once a year for a conference and layout is the same but menu seems to be upgraded. Price is a bit steep but its the best available option if you are staying at Sheraton. The miso glazed salmon was good but a bit burnt. The mashed potato was surprisingly incredible. The wings were underwhelming but onion rings were cooked well where the breading and onion dont separate after one bite. Staff all work hard and from the 3-4 people I dealt with all were very friendly and checked up several times. Definitely appreciated that. read more

We brought all of our beach stuff into this restaurant... and sat down to eat lunch. We were greeted with a smile and menus! The food was excellent. (I've eat here a few times) today I got the super food salad it was sooo good! $13.00 and the peach sangria. Yummy!!! They have a pool table and tvs and sometimes entertainment. Staying here at the Sheraton and can't say enough great things about this place. The Millionaire's Double burger was INCREDIBLE!! 2 thick patties, loads of cheese, carmelized onions, and the best part....THICK, perfectly cooked, bacon! (did I mention that it was THICK!?) Restaurants don't put bacon THIS good on anything anymore, ...Attention management, food service director, Chef, or whoever; PLEEEASE don't change, alter, cut back, or replace the Bacon you're using, or how it's being cooked. It is perfect and it is incredible!! The fries were some of the best I've ever had, perfectly hot, crispy, and delicious! Also aMAzing were the Colombian beef Empanadas - served piping hot, stuffed with beef and the dipping sauces were to die for!! Great service, wonderful friendly staff! I love Sheraton Sand Key Resort as a whole, but I have to say, the prices in the Mainstay Tavern are outrageous. I ordered a Caesar salad, and it was mostly just lettuce with a few croutons and some cheese sprinkled on top. For over $10, I expected a bit more substance. The Caesar dressing was a major disappointment--it was so thick it couldn't even be poured on the salad. And the anchovy taste? Way too strong. It was so overwhelming that even after brushing my teeth and eating a piece of cheesecake somewhere else, I could still taste it. Really gross. Mainstay Tavern located inside the Sheraton Sand Key is perfect for lunch. Quick wait staff and very courteous. Our table had fish and chips and a turkey club all with fries. Drinks are good, but food its just okay. The burgers and grouper sandwich are frozen, so sorry, but if I am gonna pay 17 bucks for a burger or a fish sandwich, I expect it to be fresh, not frozen. Also the ahi tuna and shrimp bowl use regular jasmine rice rather than sticky sushi rice. Again, drinks are good, bit overpriced for my taste. I would eat somewhere else. read more

This hotel bar/restaurant was amazing! Tbh my expectations are always mediocre for hotel's just due to my previous experiences. Here however my food, drinks, and service were all superb! Nate was our server and his service was impecable. He was always mindful of our drinks getting low and made a great drink recomendation for me and it was delicious. He also recommended the brisket nachos and they we're also so good for a hotel bar! I LOVE nachos so to have such a great plate of food on top of a great beach day was awesome! Nate was very attentive and made our experience great so I'm very glad we decided to grab a few drinks and hang out at this bar before we left the hotel to go elsewhere. read more

The review is for the burger take out service. We stayed in Sheraton for 5 days, and we happened to try out the burger from its kitchen. We were not sure if the burger is as good as Island Grille, but we still ordered it since it's late. The burger itself was tender and cooked as we ordered. Been here a couple of times in the past & cant really remember any problems, once it took us a while to get food but no big deal. This time was bad, ordered wings, fish grouper sandwich & nachos, 30mins later nothing! Waitress gave us some home made chips while we waited but they were nasty, salty & stale. We finally left after the waitress could not give us a time on when our food would be out. Not sure where their food comes from or may be the waitress just forgot to put the order in but we were the only table in there with another table & a couple of people at the bar. Will probably never go back, good reason not too. Not even an apology from the waitress, just sets the bill on the table for 2 Coke's & leaves. You would think for being in a Sheraton that this place would have its act together. read more

Underwhelming experience. We were staying at the Sheraton Sand Key and decided to just stay on site for an easy dinner after a day at the beach. We knew hotel food isn't always great but you can usually get a good hamburger or sandwhich. Unforunately, we were terribly disappointed. I would avoid this place. read more

Are here twice while staying in the resort. Bartender was overwhelmed and took him a while to get our meal. Food was ok. Kids enjoyed their hotdogs and pasta the second time we went. Love music was so loud it was uncomfortable and really bad music. Easy after a day at the beach however Rustys is a better choice next door. read more
